I purchased my Samuelsohn made to measure suit at Harry Rosen. I dealt with Haseeb who was very knowledgeable, personable, and skilled. The simplified process involves three meetings. The first is to pick out the style, fabric, and accessories. Then your body dimensions will be measured to ensure a proper fit. The second meeting is to try on the suit once it has returned from the manufacturer. Final measurements for tailoring take place. Third meeting is a final review and pick up. I highly recommend buying a suit from HR, and Haseeb in particular.

I must start off by saying that I have been avoiding this location for the last couple of years because I would rarely get any service and nobody would even talk to me... Last week I was in need for some new summer clothing and figured I'd give it another shot, as Harry Rosen does carry the brands that I usually wear. To my delight, within seconds of being in the store, Kenneth greeted me and helped me out. He gave me superb service, and I ended up walking out with a couple pairs of shorts, two shirts, and two polos. This five star review is strictly because of the great service that he provided and I would highly recommend him for your shopping needs. The store is a great option for menswear, and my clothing advisor, Haseeb, has been nothing but amazing. Harry Rosen is truly the ultimate menswear experience - one that is focused on the customer. I have been shopping at the WEM location for years and have picked up beautiful blazers, shirts, shoes, and accessories thanks to the amazing selection available both online and at the store. It doesn't matter what people say, there is no experience in 2019 that matches the personalization that Harry Rosen provides. I have shopped at Holt Renfrew and Henry Singer and the experience is not even close. A particular thanks to Haseeb who has gone above and beyond for both myself and my brother. I have texted Haseeb in the middle of the night for items, which he immediately takes care of. The personal touch he provides is simply unparalleled and I could not say enough great things. I have walked in here 3 times, as I have had good luck at the one in Vancouver. All three times I was dressed very relaxed, but didn't think it should matter. I wasn't greeted very politely; even had one gentlemen ask me if I was sure I wanted to buy here. After one visit, I went and purchased a lovely jacket from Hugo Boss. After another, I went and got a custom suit made at Suits By Curtis Elliot. Sad, just because I'm young and wasn't dressed up those days, I didn't get good customer service.

I have been shopping there for well over 4 years and Haseeb has essentially become my fashion guru! He puts careful thought into what alterations should be done to get the best fit for your body. I was specifically looking for a pair of Hugo Boss sandals and when I asked if the sandals were in stock, the salesperson replied, "Sorry, these are not on sale." After locating a pair that was on display, we noticed that the sandals were damaged so I asked them if they knew of any other stores that carried them; "Sorry, no other store has them." I walked to Brown's and bought them about five minutes later. Maybe it was because I decided to wear scrubby clothing that day, but I was judged to have no money to spend by some fat Asian guy with gold rimmed frames on. I will never take my business here again. Henry Singer is a much better company than this place where employees are poorly chosen.

Walked in with my fiance to look for and potentially buy a suit for our Wedding. Walked through the entire store and not a single employee took the time of day to help us, they walked past us, spoke among themselves and did everything they possibly could not to provide us with any service. If there are economic or social barriers in place to shop here, maybe you should hire a security guard to screen your customers at the door. I'm sure the staff were super busy with the 2 other customers in the store though, Potential customers clearly are not treated or served in the same manner. If you don't receive any service here, or it's poor. I'd suggest trying Henry Singer or the Hugo Boss store as the arrogance is palpable in the air at this store.

I ordered some shoes online and when I opened to box they were totally different than the picture they showed on their website. The shoes were also damaged (sun burnt leather) and the sole showed they have been used (and plenty). My 5 stars go to the customer service which I have been extremely pleased with and want to recognize how much they saved this from being an unpleasant experience, losing a customer as well as redeemed their mistake justly. Over the phone I talked to Edward and he was extremely attentive, well mannered, helpful; he made me feel I had all the time in the world to ask him any question I had. I didn't have my receipt at hand so he waited for me with the kindest patience. He was clear, to the point, he covered all questions immediately and he was very time efficient too without rushing the matter. When I went to the store they recieved me nicely too and they gave me the refund instantly. Great cust. Serv. Policy and attention line, if things go south they got you covered. Thank you very much everyone. It was a big refund that not all companies would agree to give back with such quickness. Very much appreciated.

Reading some of the lower star reviews left me quite confused because I've gone in there wearing very causal clothes, such as joggers and tees, and more dressy clothes, and still received the same service regardless. Ken was very helpful everytime I've been there. Good store with a pretty vast amount of designer clothes and brands with very reasonable sales periodically.

Well I have gone into this location many times and always greeted with respect and comfort not like other stores! The first person I met was Jason and he handled all my questions with lots and lots of answers and suggestions with my designer suit we custom built for my wedding in a European destination. From fabric to weight to style and quality, Jason made sure that the suit would be top notch and when it came time to pick up the suit it was top notch! With a few alterations to fit it to my needs I am now 1000% happy with my choice I made in entering Harry Rosen, even tho the management there were very friendly as well I will defiantly be taking my business back there again! The staff at Harry Rosen typically provide a great experience but the personal service by Glenn Wilkie is exceptional. Responds to questions and requests quickly and has a keen eye for the style of the shopper. In a time crunch for a jacket prior to a business trip, I e mailed Glenn in a bit of a panic after hours - his response was quick and he alleviated my worries by saying he would have some options picked out when I arrived at the store to match with some prior purchases. His choices were excellent and his preparedness made the purchase process so much faster. I will continue to work with Glenn on future purchases and would encourage anyone else to do the same. I work in luxury car sales and know all to well how hard it is to please everyone. I have noticed a certain arrogance at many high end clothing stores in the city from "some" employees, its important that people don't brand a whole store based on a few bad experiences with a certain person. If you want a true professional go see Wendy, my managers went to get fitted a month ago and I met Wendy, since then she has earned my business for life and I will happily refer anyone i know to her. She makes you feel comfortable and no pressure to buy, she is on top of things and even noticed a small stain on a shirt I bought and called me personally to come a few days later once she could have one brought in from vancouver. she texted me today to inform me that my suits and shirts have been altered and ready to pick up. I have always enjoyed shopping at Harry Rosen as they carry an amazing selection of men's clothing. However, my purchases never had any rhyme or reason to them. When I met Haseeb Zia, he helped to change my approach. Haseeb was able to personally revamp my entire wardrobe, and now my purchases all have a common goal. This ends up saving me money, because Haseeb is able to add specific items that complete certain outfits, and every piece that I buy is being worn. I highly recommend Haseeb for his professionalism and especially the fashion tips he provides to me over text. He has an impeccable sense of style and provides great ideas without being pushy. It's a wonderful storefront, welcoming and charming lighting, displays, posters outside the store. Unfortunately, that's the end of the welcoming traits. Assumptions and profiling are an unfortunate part of retail, and they start to show at its upper echelons. To anyone who is wanting to browse the store, make sure you look the part, otherwise you too might be met with condescending and snarky remarks when asking about products. Shame, because there are few stockists of designer brands and even fewer with physical stores in Edmonton. Edit: I did reach out to them about a week ago but have not heard anything back yet

Another great retail experience at Harry Rosen WEM with my fashion expert Jodi Watson. I receive regular emails from HR notifying me of new arrivals sales etc. I always like using their website to browse before I shop. The website is excellent easy to navigate and you can search by designer or simply type of clothing you desire. I text Jodi tell her what I am interested in she picks multiple items for perusal knowing my style and taste. Go to the store in and out in about 15 minutes with exactly what I wanted. She provides the same excellent service to my entire family. 5 stars!

I went to Harry Rosen with a friend to look at a fragrance and some shirts. We were a bit under dressed as we were just stopping by the mall to pick up some other things and decided to go look at few things before leaving. Upon walking in we were welcomed by a lady asking if we needed help finding anything and told her we were just looking around. After walking around the store we noticed that she was following us. Where ever we went, she was always right behind us as if we were about to steal something. I was considering buying a Creed fragrance but felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome. I've never had this issue at this store before and we decided to leave because we felt uneasy. I probably won't be returning and was very unhappy with my experience.

Bought a suit for my wedding. They altered it twice. The first time they altered it, they cut the pants too short. I called them to fix it but they demanded to have the pants dry cleaned before they can alter the pants. I got it dry cleaned and brought it back to the store. When I picked up my pants, the fit of it didn’t seem right. I was not happy with they way they altered it and I even brought it up to their manager but they insisted and told me that the pants already looked good on me and if they do more alterations, it will just ruin the pants so I left and decided to get it fixed somewhere else. I went to a different seamstress and they were able to fix the problem. The other seamstress also noticed that the arm lengths of my suit are not the same - one arm is longer than the other. Same thing happened to my pants. Harry Rosen is a great store and they carry nice suits but their service and alterations department are well below par. I am never going back.

Beautiful clothes and always a great selection. The only thing that puts me off is the unwelcoming atmosphere and the feeling that you must look or dress a certain way to be respected as a customer. Every time I go in dressed in designer clothes, I will immediately receive a friendly greeting. However, the times I have gone in less dressed up, I don't even get a second look and feel very unwelcome by the staff. It's almost like you aren't worth their time if you don't look like you can afford things there. Good location and in store products! Staff just needs to be less judgemental and friendly towards EVERY customer who comes in, regardless if they look like they can afford their products.

I have to stop buying thing online as the level of service and expertise with Jodi is above and beyond. She helps me with an overall approach to my wardrobe, understands the look and style I want to convey, and brings a great level of energy and professionalism to my experience at Harry Rosen. Jodi acquires special orders and specific pieces I am looking for, and I always feel like I am getting a Bespoke experience with Jodi each time I am there.

I just think they're bad at service. Holts is way better. Singers is way way better. Simon's is better. Hudson's Bay is better. Hugo Boss is way way better. Gravity Pope is way way way better. Why bother?

They make you feel insignificant while you are spending your hard earned money. They dont make eye contact. They dont even pretend to care. All while you are activly purchasing expensive goods. They are not knowledgeable or even accommodating. This is a service industry, where is the service? You work in retail, dont take yourself too serious.

Service was terrible, and even once I got service and mentioned I needed a black suit for my wedding, the salesman unenthusiastically said they only have three black suits and pointed at them. Did not seem interested in letting me try them on. Don't waste your time here, head to Hugo Boss and see Jay for an awesome suit buying experience.

I have spent over 6k in this store in the last two months and I still get crappy service. I call to by a 2k sport coat and I cant get my sales guy to call me back! really! Some are snotty. I go here for the clothes not the people, I use to live in Toronto, the Harry Rosen people there are trained and very very good with people. Here they work in a mall and just don't care. What drives me nuts is the woman who answers the phone and can`t speak English, AT ALL! try leaving a message my god, I would rather go to the dentist. You would think that at a high end mens store where you spend $400 for a pair of pants they would get front of house people that can speak English. Then if you get through and try to talk to your sales person its like 200 questions, just put him on the phone already! what this regarding? Does he know your going to call today? she asked me how to spell Dan 3 times. This store could learn a thing or two from the stores in Toronto and Vancouver. Who ever is the Manager SUCKS! If I was the DM for this store I would fire that Manager so fast the girl at the front desk who can`t speak English head would spin off.

I walked out excited about all my purchases and felt Jodi was excited about the selections made as well. After making a purchase at this location, there was a hiccup in getting a sport-coat that I had been fitted for delivered to me on time. I had filed a complaint, as I was obviously disappointed, and was subsequently reached out to by their district manager. He had contacted me the day of my complaint, and was genuine in addressing my concerns. Given their punctual and direct approach to my issues, they've definitely earned my business and my respect as a company, and I'll be returning in the near future.

Younger sales associate talking down to 3 young guys asking about made to measure dressed in t-shirts and shorts. At least they got service! Awful service by judge mental sales staff. Went into the store underdressed in sandals as I was in the mall for another reason. However I was actually looking for a new navy suit. Sales staff barley acknowledged me until I was rifling through some suits. First thing they said to me was the the Hugo Boss suits weren’t on sale........excuse me did I even ask price or ask about a sales price. Look me up in the system and see I’ve bought thousands of dollars from their store. Never again will I return.
