There aren't deals in the grocery section. Great place for cheap fashion and home goods but the food selection is very poor and the regular priced items will outweigh any deal on frozen burgers you might get. The staff is wonderful.

My online shopping experience with this store has become a nightmare of sorts. Nothing but stress since first getting my order confirmation. When ordering the items were showing as being in my local store. They weren't ! When I received my order confirmation, they stated estimated next day pick-up. It's now been over 50 hrs. and nothing! One of the items are supposed to be picked up on the 22"nd actually but that was checked off as being in store when I ordered. Their customer service has just called after I put in a ticket for a full refund and they are just saying the order is partially ready. Even though I am supposed to wait for a confirmation email to go to the store which I haven't received yet. Again misleading! Oh and I almost forgot. Right after placing my order I was taken to a screen that stated charges were to come after pick-up at store but they've already charged me! Do not order online from these people as the right hand has no clue what the left is doing and what you see on their online website for ordering is all totally misleading!

I rarely go to Giant Tiger because it is out of the way. I regret this because they have incredible deals on weekly. I had ordered a few items for Christmas and they were shipped and ready when they said they would be. Only one of my items was cancelled (two days before it was to arrive). Everything was packaged well and in perfect condition. When I went to pick it up, I stood in line for half hour while they figured out their cashiers and then because they couldn't find my package. I had to return on Christmas Eve to get it.

The store is rather spacious and it’s located beside Fortino’s on north east side of Upper Middle Road and Guelph Line intersection. With Food Basics being on the other side of the street, this place is like a hub that you can go and take care of all your grocery shopping. Giant Tiger has many great deals in store, from clothing, home decor and kitchen appliances, dairy, fresh fruit and vegetables, furniture and canned food. But, their collection is limited. The store is clean and everything is labeled, so you can easily find what you’re looking for.

A great place to go for discounted shopping. Whether you're on a budget or looking for a deal, you can't deny that Giant Tiger has some of the best prices. The great thing about it is that unlike most discount or "dollar stores", Giant Tiger actually carries recognizable name brands in food and household items a lower prices. Our Brandon location even has a decent produce section now! Service here has always been fast and friendly, and I've never once encountered a long line-up due to the fact that they are always adequately staffed to handle customer load. My only complaint would be that sometimes the store can appear a bit unorganized and messy, and the isles packed together too tightly which makes for a claustrophobic and somewhat ironically discounted shopping experience.

Staff were friendly (when prompted), prices were fair, with a few good deals (forced quantities though, not singles), and the aisles were BARELY big enough for a cart and a person (could not pass a cart with a cart in most aisles). There was also nowhere to put my cart when I was done which promotes ditching them in the parking lot (which I hate doing) so I actually had to walk all the way in with my empty cart and put it back in the cart line, maneuvering around other staff who were pleasantly chatting amongst themselves. A layout redisign and some more competitive pricing on junk foods would bump this to a 4, but overall the quality of meat (as learned from previous trips) is probably the worst in the city. Beef is highly processed and often has gristle and bone still in it, chicken is aggressively plumped and has an awful sour sweet taste from the saline, therefore it would never receive a 5. But, if it's within walking distance, the prices are better than 7-11, lol.

A great store to find brand names for a lot less then other stores. The store is clean, there are plenty staff and prices are easily identifiable on different products. It's nice to have a one-stop-shop kind of store in central Brampton other than Walmart. It also helps that it's Canadian owned business and not a giant American corporation.

Had a sale item.in stock..were as another local Giant Tiger store freezer was empty or the didn't have staff to restock..couldn't find anybody l could ask..told the girl at the check out as l had empty shopping cart..and basicly got a shoulder shrug instead of paging someone..so disappointing..went to this store freezer must have been restocked...normally shop at Margret Ave location guess l'll be shopping here in the futute

This store has a lot of clothes and food products with bargaining prices and offers. The custemer service providers are curtious and cooperative. However, although the store contains wide range of clothes, it is mainly for women/girls and professionals like construction and health service workers, with few available choices for men/boys.
