During COVID-19 I was able to order balloons for my son's 11th birthday and have them delivered. Not only was the service great during such a trying time, they had great precautions in place. He also delivered them in a chicken suit and sang to my son, it was the HIGHLIGHT to our COVID-19 birthday. Thank you so much

To the staff at Party Store that turned me away, citing that they own a private business and do not have to honour mask exemptions. Although you offered to provide me service outside in -20 weather please let this be a moment to understand that what you did was unlawful. Can a business create a policy that does not honour Mask Exemptions? A: No. Your Mask Exemption is protected by the Human Rights Act, which prohibits businesses and public services from creating policies that discriminate against you. This includes government buildings, hospitals, police stations, restaurants, grocery stores, movie theaters, the list goes on.

A friend got balloon bouquets for 4+2yo for their birthdays. The balloons came with a person dressed as a chicken to sing happy birthday which was a huge wonderful surprise! 10/10 will be shopping here for all party supplies etc in the future! That was the highlight of their day!!!

My son and I went here to get a costume, didn't expect to find to many left. They still have a really good selection. I got a peanut butter costume for me and a Jelly one for my husband. My son tried on a few a left with a Freddy Kruger bladed glove. The staff was very friendly,helpful and relaxed. The store bright and well organized.

My husband turned 50 during the pandemic, so what better way to liven things up than with balloons! Over the top impressed!!! I entered the store and was immediately greeted by a friendly staff! Then another and another! It seemed as though every isle I turned someone was asking me if I needed help finding anything. They were so helpful to help me find costumes and makeup. They told me how to use it and provided the sponges for the product too. They listened to my description of what I needed and even walked me over to the clearance isle In case there was something there that fit my description.. I found more than I needed and had a very great experience! I would go out of my way now to go to thia store over other party stores in Barrie. No kidding I was impressed!!! You don't often find that kind of customer service anywhere these days it seems! ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

I recommend this place all the time! The balloons from here actually stay inflated for a week and they have some unique party themes and decor you can’t find other places. I’m a loyal customer and will continue to be as long as they are open. It’s a great local option the corporate stores!

My wife buys a $6 pair yellow socks for an event at our daughters school. She gets home to find out our daughter is on the green team so heads straight back to store to swap them out, still in original packaging. The cashier says "sorry I don't think we can do that". My wife pushes (politely) and the girls says "I'll have to check with my manager". The manager comes and says sorry, "all sales are final, that's why we word it like that". He was the one that helped my wife just a half hour earlier and could clearly see the socks had not been worn, we just needed a different colour. He wouldn't budge. My wife gets home and reads the bottom of the receipt that clearly states "unopened merchandise in original packaging and sale condition may be returned for refund (we only wanted to exchange colors remember) within 14 days of purchase with receipt. WOW

This was my first time buying anything from this store as I usually default to Party City when ordering balloon, however I will definitely be using this place from now on. I needed some ballon bouquets for my daughters 2nd bday, and when I was ordering over the phone, Brian knew exactly what I was looking for and they fit me in during a VERY busy time with graduation happening. When the balloons arrived , although still beautiful and great quality, they were actually different than what I had been told on the phone I would be receiving. A week later when I finally had time to contact the store about the mishap, not only did they apologize, offer an explanation and describe what had happened, they also offered a full refund of the items missing from the bouquet. :)! In this fast paced "big box store" world we seem to be living in, it was great to have a good customer service experience, and I will 100% being going back to support this store.!

Terrible customer service, wouldn't return my deposit on a different bank card making me have to go back to recieved my money. Won't blow balloons up unless they are quarantined for 48 hours instead of sanitizing the sealed packaging down... owner put helium tank back on shelf after usage and when I called apparently it had been taken to the back for quarantine .. sure. Absolutely ridiculous management is a loop bag. Don't waste your time and money.

I originally came to buy balloon tape, a nice lady approached me, I told her what balloon setup I had. I'm happy she suggested some very good ideas, and then I bought a 36in balloon (amazing quality) while the balloon was being filled, she told another associate about the balloon setup I was attempting, the nice man approached me and took the time to explain the method soo well of how to hook the balloons up and taking the time and doing an example in front me. This is an example of how the people who run this business actually care about your parties and want to make sure you are well equipped for the best setup ever. Thank you!

Terrible customer service...they yelled at my 3 year old and said she was breaking stuff (when she was only touching balloon weights) while we waited over 20 minutes to have 1 balloon bouquet made (which only had 4 balloons in it). Definitely wouldn't go back, and I left without my order because of the rude staff!

I brought in a balloon in the package. Paid 10$ to have it filled with helium. Then somehow it has a hole in it. Then instead of stopping at that point they just fill it up and waste our money. It didn’t even make it to the car before it stopped floating.

Biggest I've seen especially for not so well known themes. Loves how they still have a huge costume section all year for kids and adults. We have been ordering balloons for our special events for over a decade! We have never once had a problem. We always receive fantastic service and wonderful balloon bouquets. With the current situation I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to order balloons. I called the store and Brian was very helpful with getting me set up to order online. Not only were our balloons delivered to my door, on time, but they were delivered by a singing chicken! It sounds silly but it was totally worth the laughs. Thank you!

Absolutely horrible customer service! Bought balloons for my daughters birthday party, balloons werent filled up properly, had drooping balloons at her bday! Was told by customer service to leave the bday party and bring all the unfilled balloons in to get refilled, makes no sense. I highly recommend you dont give this place your business! Party city is up the road and has way better customer service and quality of products

The service I received from The Party Store went above and beyond my expectations! I ordered a bouquet of birthday balloons for delivery, I was expecting them to simply be dropped off at my door. The delivery was very timely according to what I requested online, the bouquet was exactly as expected and not only that but they were delivered by a man in a chicken suit who INSISTED he sang happy birthday to us ????
