Love this store, their inventory is always growing. I recently bought hot dog sticks $5 each from another store, And Dollarama had the exact same sticks for $2.50 each. It's my go to when looking for items before heading to another store. Lines can become very long at checkout, but staff are quick to call for back up, and friendly.

The only thing I can say about this store is it's a fair size for the area. There is not enough staff or cashiers. Can never find anybody to help and there's usually only one cashier on. There is a better selection of stock in the Bay Roberts store, which is smaller. I can seldom find anything I'm looking for there.

Lots of great items for kids' parties as well as lots of everyday needs. The store is quick to change over products for each holiday like Halloween, Christmas, New Year's and the like. If you need something for hobbies or crafts or school projects, there are lots of things to find here, and of course, they are inexpensive. Some of the items are of low quality, but what would you expect for such a low price?

I bought a fluffy blanket for my dog at Dollarama in Campbell River and took it home and washed it before using it. When I placed it in the Dryer under Gentle Cycle, all of the Fluff came off and literally plugged my Dryer’s filtration system. I immediately reported this to the store as a likely fire-hazzard and the Elderly lady that looks after that Aisle of products said that she has one and doesn’t care or show any concern about the danger this might have on unsuspecting clients! I will share this message with our local Fire Dept! Wow!!

Dollarama is a great store to find low priced items. Keep in mind that it is a dollar store, so things like socks are cheaply made and wear out fast. Beware of the water carriers, in the camping section, they do fill up nicely but the force of moving the jug from picnic table to ground busted the seams! There are products that I always buy at Dollarama, like foil, parchment paper, freezer bags etc. it's a great place to discover gadgets too!

No one abides by social distancing. Self check out computers work horribly and there's never anyone at their tills.
