Its small but serves its purpose. It is Bancroft's original dollar store so I like to show them some support since the DOLLARAMA is now directly across from them. Also there are products there that you can only get there and not at the Dollarama. SHOW THEM SO LOCAL HOMETOWN LOVE & SUPPORT. They will probably have to close in store during the lock down BUT *THEY WILL STILL BE OFFERING CURBSIDE PICK-UP THEY HAVE TOLD ME* SO SUPPORT OUR ORIGINAL DOLLAR STORE

We found what we needed and more during our stay in Bancroft. We visited both Dollarstores in Bancroft and favoured this one over Dollarama. Just like many retail stores in Ontario, some items were sold out. We were in search of more Acrylic Paint... we found a few more colours to add to our palette but we did not find it all. The manager at the time kindly informed us of the recent delay in shipping (Covid-19 related). He gave us an idea of the stock that he was expecting and its estimated time of arrival. Great job.

I was at this store on Saturday May 1st at 5:15pm and it was closed. Google says it’s open until 5:30pm and the website says 6pm. I live out of town so I wasted a trip. Somebody should be managing this site so more people don’t go through this!!!

GREAT store and very friendly owners! They have a great selection of stock. You can save lots of money by simply checking out their hardware section. I get all of my cleaning supplies here too for an amazing price. Once I mistakenly forgot a shopping bag at the cash (I had purchased a lot of items and had a few bags) and, the next time I visited the store, the owner had the bag saved for me! Verg thoughtful. I'll definitely be a loyal returning customer. Great business, hope to see them here in Bancroft for a long time.

This store is well stocked and very friendly staff. They're even dog friendly which is awesome when you're travelling a long way with kids and a pooch. I will always come here over the other chain stores.

This store is locally owned and operated and works very hard to keep a great selection of affordable items. They really suffered being closed during covid, where Dollarama across the street was able to stay open because they sold food. They pend over backwards to help you find something, and if you can't find it, they will order it in. The staff is outstanding. The owners are wonderful people. This store does so much for our schools and community when asked. Remember, to shop here before you try anywhere else!
