The clothes and accessoires are great, the display is fine although a bit crowded in places. The employee I had to deal with was less than helpful or interested in being helpful. Her standard answer to ANY question was, what you see on the floor is all there is. All I wanted to know was if there are any other sizes than XS or S of track pants somewhere in the store?

Never been to an Ardene's before. I'm Christmas shopping with my wife and have to say it's a fun store. What made it even more fun was that the salesperson was very helpful and courteous. Some nice classic clothing and trendy items as well. If I were a teenage girl, I'd have a heyday in there...that is if my mom or dad were with me. ????

I purchased a hoodie and didn't realize the magnet was still on the hoodie until I was on the other side of the world. I had to yank the tag off to wash it causing a little hole, telling them it was their fault for leaving it on. I brought this to customer service a few months after and no one responded. I again mentioned it a few months later again. . I forwarded an old email to Ardene customer support to show them I had reached out earlier and got a response saying someone will be in touch soon...but that was the end of that. And finally last week I tried again and I had a comment on my review from "owner" to contact customer support at a certain email and I did. The customer support said there is nothing they can do because it was more than a year ago, but can give me a ten dollar coupon. How should I feel about this?

Everything fits well and is very comfy.... but when I ordered online around last month it took forever to get to me. I dont mind that it took longer then said but... I didn't get everything in the mail either I'm still missing my t-shirt( it was on sale and in stick) but it never came yet. This is my favourite Ardene to go to!! The selection is always amazing and they always have great deals!! Went in today to try on bathing suits, my boyfriend went to get me a different size and the manager asked me if I was finished. I said just about I am just trying on a different size. She looked at me and rudely stated how there was a line. I had waited (paitently) in the line for the change rooms to try on my clothes and was only in there about two minutes before this happened. I am very uninpressed at the rudeness of the manager. (everytime I have been in she has very lack-luster customer service) Doubt I will be back as this has happened too many times.

Had two time-wasting experiences with online returns at this location. Manager didn't seem very knowledgeable, and it caught me off guard in the beginning of the return that she "might not be able to do it". Usually an online return like that would take 5 minutes, but it took over 15 minutes and I had to come back a second time as they exchanged the wrong product on the receipt. Hopefully the next time will be quicker and less of a cringefest.

Sales people and their manager in the store are very rude. They have big time attitude. I was trying to use my first time 20% and when I went to use it, the cashier did not know if I could use the discount. She looked at her Manager and her manager gave me dirty looks and replied in loud voice with attitude that we can’t give you 20% but we can manually give you 10%. I asked why so, again in loud voice she replied because our systems are down. I said Thanks, paid for my stuff and I left. The Manager at this location is so rude and has big time attitude. Ardene should train their employees some customer service skills and how to be pleasant to their customers. I felt so embarrassed because the way Ardene’s manager treated me in front of other customers in the store.

I love the Ardene's chain. I love the huge selection of current fashions and low prices. However..this particular store was a complete write off. It was so messy and unorganized. I became so frustrated trying to sift through the chaos that i just left. It was like a clothing bomb went off in the store. This is a HUGE location but maybe its too large for the employees to handle. There was no order at all. Everything was just haphazardly put on the floor with no thought or merchandising strategy. The sales were posted but the merchandise I chose wasn't part of the sale..even though it was hung under the sales signs. It was just so confusing. The employees were young and more interested in their conversation amongst themselves then breaking apart to help customers find what they need or tidy up. This could be a great store if it could just be cleaned up and organized a bit.

I have been shopping at Ardenes since it opened in Brockville many years ago and always promote The brand. I love the clothes but the staff are not friendly and do not offer help. I’m often shopping for a specific item and I don’t find it because the staff seems disinterested in helping me. Paige, a new sales rep recently became an employee and I buy way more based on her help and recommendations. She is warm and helpful and because it is a large store I find assistance navigating through stock helpful. Please encourage staff to assist customers.. I often have walk out empty handed. MM

I usually never shop here but I heard they recently added more clothing for men. I was a little confused and couldn't find what I was looking for. The manager of the store ( I believe Jaspreet) saw me and offered to help find what I needed. Everything went smooth from finding what I need to checking out. My daughter and I got there 2 minutes before closing and needed bathing suits to go to the grotto at our hotel and the girl working there, Shannon, was extremely sweet and gave us a few extra minutes to be able to purchase what we needed. It should be zero rate, i just went there 10 mins ago. I bought a howgart hoodie that is on the 50 percent off rack with other howgarts items. After i paid it shows i paid the full price. So i told the cashier and at first she td me she will give me discount but she cant gave my money back it just a store credit. So i told her no because i just bought that and it was not my mistake. So she called her manager and i wait for almost 30 mins to figure it out but it ended that after a the hastle i been through she told me she cant gave discount for that. Really? The employees and managers at this store are ridiculous. The exchange policy is absolutely stupid. They would not allow an exchange for a size larger of a piece of article. Employee said that I could have stolen the item and brought it back to exchange. All of their clothes have security tags. The leggings I purchased had the security tag off, but the manager still would not allow an exchange for a size larger. My product still has the original tag attached, and is still in the store, not in sale. I'll never shop here again. Ever.

I never leave reviews but I just have to this time I walked into the store looking for fall clothing and I was checking out some clothing closer to the front of the store I kept feeling someone was looking at me when I looked over I realized it was one of the workers I continued shopping and then in a rude tone she asked me would you like me to help you with a size instead I said no thank you she continued to look over my way she kept staring at me as if I was interrupting her from fixing whatever she was fixing she then started talking to other workers and mentioning I was messing up her “work” I felt so uncomfortable I immediately went as far as I could from her down to the very back their I saw another worker who immediately greeted me and helped me choose out some sweaters I asked her if their was a manager in the store she said yes and pointed at her when I looked over it was the same girl who was being rude to me I asked the worker what her name was and she said it was jaspreet very shocked that it was the manager of the store acting this way towards customers she needs to do better

Prior to covid I have never had any issues here. Since opening I attempted to go however even at 10.45am there were lines outside ,so I decided not to wait . However I could see customers and staff being impatient I will just wait until they open up with more customers.

Only reason I give an extra star is because of the girl around around the back of the store, I think her name is Renasia. She is amazing!! She helped me find every item I was looking for without hesitation and didn’t make me feel like I was bothering her. That’s what you call good customer service. As for the store, you guys are not following covid guidelines, not sanitizing areas after customer touch them and having too much people in the store at once. I have seen this at this location for 3 days in a row so I have contacted Peel public health to report this because this store shouldn’t be open if you’re not going to follow protocols in a pandemic

Today I came in and unfortunately had such a horrible experience with the cashier that served me ( 11:55 register 1 cashier 73907 ). With or without the mask you could tell she didn’t want to be at work. Her attitude and customer service was distasteful. Today their promotion was spend 30 get a free mask, I spent around 70 dollars and had to remind her to offer me the mask, where she replied with “oh yeah” rolled her eyes and asked how I’m paying for the third time during one transaction. I understand staff is at a high demand as places are starting to open up, but with her attitude you might as well close the store and take time to hire appropriate staff.

When a customer has a question please stop, drop what you are doing and answer politely. Also, eye contact wouldn't hurt. Please remember that you are dealing with people and we all deserve respect. Now, why is your change room closed. Yet, the one in square one, mississauga open? Is there different rules, policies and ways of doing things from one locality to the next? What happen to brand standardization?

Terrible customer service. They say they’re open until 7 pm, but if you walk in at 6:30, they’ll immediately tell you that they close in 15 min. Then other staff repeat it, basically rush you out the door BEFORE closing and admit it’s because they have “paper work”. Well, if the staff don’t get paid for the time to close and do their paper work, then shame on the company. If they’re just wanting to get out of work early, then shame on them. When a store says open until 7 pm, it means 7 pm. They shouldn’t say they close and rush customers out a minute before 7 pm.

I also work as a cashier and it's really not complicated to put in the correct change. For a few cents I wouldn't have said anything because yes small errors do happen but it's still a difference of several dollars especially since most of the time the articles are not particularly of quality even if it is relatively decent for the price . (Original) Ma facture était de 40,08$, j'ai remis un 50$, il me revenant 9,90$, la caissière m'a remis 4,80$ et j'ai juste remarquée quand je suis rentrée chez moi et que le magasin était déjà fermé. Je travaille aussi comme caissière et c'est vraiment pas compliquée de remettre le bon change. The manger at this location was so unhelpful. I doubt if she is a manager. A manager should have empathy and be able to think outisde the box and not work like a robot. I was at your store on Jan 6th between the hours of 6:30-7pm to do a return. The moment I approached her and said I am here for return . She said they don’t accept online return. I guess she was mad at the mention of the word “return”. I had to remind the acclaimed manager that on your website you can return in store for a store credit. I had 3 clothing items (two of same kind but different colours ) I got on sale 70% off but they were too big and she refused to process a return for a store credit. She said “I can only allow you do an exchange in the store ”. I kept pleading and telling her that I already placed a new order for the items (smaller size) online and I can provide her with the order # as proof to verify she refused. She kept forcing for an exchange in her store , maybe she is under pressure to make sales at her location. I told her I am in a hurry and don’t have the time to shop around. If “unhelpful” was human that would definitely be her. I had to go to your store at bramalea city center. The sweet lady at that location accepted the return for store credit with ease and no stress. I made sure I called the unhelpful manager to let her know what she couldn’t do someone else did it without stress she hung up. I work online retail (customer service) there is something called one time courtesy especially when the customer already replaced the order for same item. This is 2022 why the robotic way of doing things. See attached what she did to my receipt so I won’t be able to get help from another location. If this is not wickedness then I don’t know what to call it.
