My favorite place to buy plus size clothes IF I could afford them. They're cute and comfy pieces but I can never ever ever afford full price. Even those sales are still pricey but once a year or so I'll indulge. Shopping online for torrid in Canada sucks with massive delivery charges and no ability for them to ship to the store.

I only wish that the company didn't charge so much for shipping to Canada ($40) since they carry more styles online than in store, and have sales more frequently online too.

I’ve been to torrid a number of times and there’s been a steady decrease in customer service over the last year. Today was the lowest it could be. I walked in at about 1pm. No other customers were in the store and the music was off. I was shopping for new bras as I recently stopped breastfeeding and I had no idea I was. I expected I would have someone to help me find a few sizes.... damn was I wrong. Not a single staff asked if I needed help the entire time I was there. Not when I was trying to find sizes, not when I was in the dressing room and not when I came out (with my child and stroller) to get different sizes. I’d like to restate: I was the only customer in the store this entire time. I finally found 2 that fit and brought them to the cash... where no one was. I waited for 2 or 3 minutes before finally getting someone’s attention (who was in the back of the store). When she asked if I found everything I was looking for I, honestly, said no and informed her that no one had offered to help me the entire time I’d been there. This was met with silence. Needless to say... torrid won’t be my first stop for clothes ever again... too bad because their stuff is nice and well priced. Edit* I responded to customer service's post on this review and was contacted by the district manager. She listened very attentively to my feedback and even sent me a $25 gift card. The corporate reaction to negative reviews is A+ so I've added another star because of her awesome reaction and effort.

Went in for the (miracle) bra I've been hearing about online, but unfortunately that style only went up to DDD - which doesn't make any sense for a plus size store. The sales woman helped me find a different option, but im still disappointed.

I will never return to this store because my money isnt good enough to walk in and get help. I will rather go to a Penningtons atleast the ladies there are friendly and helpful. I asked to be shown where a particular tshirt and me thinking she wouldve shown me the shirt said to me she's helping someone else which she wasnt. She was only hanging back clothes on the line. Went to try a bra and the girl at the door just stood looking at me. I had something in my hand for God sakes why did I have to shout out to u and let u know I wanted to try something on. Im a black woman and felt like the ladies here turned their nose up at me. I felt unaccepted and out of place in a store that is suppose to be size friendly and customer oriented. I was asked if I needed help once....really Torrid please train your retail staff I'm disgusted and sad at how they are in the store. I came all the way here from Medicine hat to buy Bra and I hate how I was treated. The staff there needs to go or they need serious talking to.

This location needs some changes to make shopping here easier with all the Covid-19 restrictions. Most of the stores in this mall have fitting rooms open but this store does not, so you basically have to buy and hope for the best and make returns if things don't work out. The store is small so there isn't much room for social distancing so there's often a wait to get in. I waited over 25 minutes in line just so I could make a return that took 60 seconds to process, as did a woman in front of me. Super frustrating and a waste of time. Either open the fitting rooms for try-ons or designate one open spot in the store for those just trying to make returns.

I needed new summer outfits for work. The sales associate who was incharge of the wash station at the front of the store was so extremely rude. She told me I had 15 minutes to do my shopping because they were closing in 20 minutes. She never asked me if I needed a hand (which I did) just huffed and puffed, shot me and my daughter dirty looks while she swept the store. The other sales associate was the complete opposite. She finished with her customer and checked me out . I was able to asked her what I was looking for and she told us about store promotions. Never made me feel like a burden once. This was June 10/2020

Everything thing here is super cute and fits really well. Clothing feels well made - wont fall apart after a few wears. There are so many sizes available, it's so nice to not have to try on the biggest size and hope it fits. Sizes range from 10 to 30, and nothing in the store makes me think of frumpy plus size clothes.

I love this store they really make being plus size not feel so bad . the clothing is nice and trendy . lots to choose from , the one thing i really loved was the fans in the change rooms so no more sweating to death while u try on the clothes . you don't feel judged going in the staff was very friendly to me each time i have gone .

I went into this store over the long weekend and I had a pretty good experience! I waited pretty long to get in and unfortunately the dressing rooms weren’t open but it is COVID times and I completely understand. The staff was friendly and helpful with helping me understand the sizing options, lots of things were on sale! Would’ve been nice if they had more stock however.

Store itself is neat, tidy and well organised. Staff are very friendly and approcheable, and bend over backwards to help you (on previous visits have agreed to give opinions on dresses and swimsuits I was unsure of). Today I went in to see if I could exchange a bra I was wearing as the underwire had escaped and was poking me in the chest - bra was approx 3 months old. Hana (name taken from receipt) found me a replacement bra in a similar size, let me try it on before processing my exchange, and letting me wear the new one out of the store. Polite, friendly and accommodating througout, and I was expecting them to be able to do nothing, so big plus.

Refuse to pay over $70 for Walmart quality spandex leggings... I have a pair that’s a year old and I love them, they’re thick, hold me in and don’t show the imperfections on my legs. Tried some new ones on in store and they’re super thin, and shows all my imperfections... seems like the quality has gone down.

Comparing this torrid store to Toronto... The stock is so limited.. They really need more options And staff are always like we don't have and we don't know when we will get stock ....it sucks because there are only 2 stores in Calgary with very limited stock

Went to this store and was truly disappointed not one staff member greeted me, no one checked to see if I needed a fitting room even though I had clothing in my hand. I was in the west Edmonton mall the next day since I was traveling and chose not to go to this store because of my experience.

Every time I have come in here I have found a huge selection. The sizes actually fit true to size and they have a wide variety of flattering clothing for most body types. I have bought a few bras from here and they are the best I've owned. The staff is always so friendly and helpful.

It's impossible to complain about the customer service as there isn't any. 4 employees working myself and 2 other customers in the store and no service given. I had to look through the drawers myself to find a bra size. When I said I want happy with the service all I recieved was "sorry to hear that". Very disappointed to say the least.

I love this store, the clothing is well made and stands up really well. The sales team are super friendly and always willing to help out. My only issue is that they run out of sizes way too quickly. I would certainly recommend this particular location to anyone out there. Sizes run from 12 all the way up to plus sizes

Where I’m from there isn’t a Torrid store so I was very excited to shop there. Unfortunately I was quite disappointed. They have very limited inventory. I may have have had unrealistic expectations because I had been looking online at Torrid.com that has tons of all types of clothing as well as lingerie and a full line of footwear. I found it to be rather pricey compared to the competition with no difference in quality. The price tags show the price of the item in USD and CAN so you see the exchange amount which was a turn-off to see how much cheaper it is in the states. The staff was friendly and helpful so no complaints there. Sad to say, but next time I’m in Calgary I won’t go out of my way to go back there.

Staff is very helpful. They will suggest sizes and get information about what you are looking for so they can offer options. Clean store. Dressing rooms are spacious and offer fans. Sizes start at a medium so if you're a curvy medium you may find good fits.
