Ignored through and through. Multiple sales people standing around gossiping and complaining about working there. Sales girl (H) then couldn't find my account after 4 different attempts. Then when she finally found it, accuses me of her inputting errors, spins on her heels and proceeds to gossip with her co-worker. WOW. "Sales associate manager" (J) was sooooo helpful - cue sarcasm. As a manager, it is your job to train your staff. If they fail, you failed. PERIOD.

Well curated and well taken care of, this is a one-stop location for eveything clothing and interior (large furniture is available online, I think). There's something for every price range, too - be it their own brands' often changing selection, luxury casgmere basics, or fast classic forever high-end purse. Never have had bad service here. It does get regularly gets busy and many of the cashier's also run the fitting rooms, so unless there's more than one person working at a certain till, you will probably need to wait a minute or two to pay/try things on (the store has so many fitting rooms/check outs so if one is taking too long, just go to another). Nice selection of clothing and the store is big enough that you can space yourself out from other people quite nicely.

Ridiculous customer service! I planned a present for my wife. Wanted to buy her a nice Canada Goose winter jacket. Came to this store and asked if I can get a gift card. Then I asked I asked twice what happens if my wife doesn't find something she likes here? Can I get the money back? The lady said twice very clearly. You can get it back on your card with the receipt. I bought the gift card and took the receipt. Nothing to be concerned about? So I thought. After couple of weeks me and my wife come back to the store and can't find anything she likes. Happens. We ask the money back so we can buy it elsewhere. They call the manager. The manager says it's not refundable! At this point I'm all confused and starting to get mad at them. She asks me to wait and calls their client service or something. Afterwards she says, "this time we will give the money back, but usually it is not refundable". I start explaining that it's ridiculous and that they can't promise one thing and write something else on the receipt. That called fraud! That moment the lady that initially sold me the gift appears. I tell her how could she tell me that?! She just stays quite and lightly smiles! Ridiculous! Be aware!

But in general the quality of their fabric is durable, after several machine washes it does not change. Maison Simons is a Quebec franchise, making purchases there will contribute to the national economy. (Original) J’adore cette marque, j’aime beaucoup leur collection de t-shirt simple 100% cotton. Le rapport qualité prix est variable, il y a des articles qui sont à prix abordables, d’autres ne le sont pas. Simon's is very confusing in layout but the sweater selection is the bomb. It's very weird to be standing next to a 20 dollar sweater and beside it is a 300 dollar one. I wish there were more sizes though, as anything that goes up to an XL is probably only a L in other stores. Very small clothes, but there's some good stretchy things there

This review is for Simons online store, not specifically this store. I’d been Simons’ customer for quite some time now and been always happy with my purchase. However, my last experience was horrible. I purchased a pair of Vagabond boots for $310 from Simons’ online website. To my surprise, they sent me a Try-On pair that had been used many times. The wrinkles on the leather say it all as if they’ve been used for months. I was shocked and couldn’t believe that the well known Simons would treat their customers this way and be inconsiderate towards their customers’ expectations. Called the customer service, was told the item is entirely sold out, and they can only give me a %15 discount (ON A USED PAIR) or I can return them for a full refund. And now, not only I am disappointed, I have to make a considerable time in my schedule to take care of the return. This is horrible that they don’t really care about their customers’ time, or their expectations! :’( I don’t see an option to post pictures here, if not, I would’ve.

This Simons is incredible! It's even more special when you put it into context of it being the first one outside of Quebec, the breadth and depth of products, the quality of brands they bring in (their luxury brands rival and even exceed those of the existing players in the Edmonton market), and the sheer size of the store. You'll find the Simons at WEM to be much better all-around when comparing the Simons to the one on Saint Catherine in Montreal. It's an excellent addition to Edmonton/WEM, and it should be a mainstay for many years to come.

I used to like simons, but now they changed a lot of sales associate, one of the Asian girl works near Twik section is really unfriendly. Her face looks like everyone owe her money, and during my shopping experience including guide me to changing rooms. Her face is like ice and seems unhappy have me as a customer , she also doesn't have conversations with customer, Simons people, do you hire a person who don't speak English or what? I'm Asian too, so it is definitely not criticism.

i work very close by so i stop in often to check out what's new. i do enjoy their return/exchange policy and they have a lot of really fun designs and products, so sometimes i'll even go in to browse for style inspiration. that said, i almost always feel extremely unwelcome - staff are not subtle about following me around the store and are not particularly friendly. i get that i probably don't look like their "target demographic" but i'm not a criminal. meanwhile, they seem to be nowhere to be found anytime i need a cashier. my biggest qualm with simons as a whole is their sizing is extremely limited - most of their in house brands only sometimes go to a womens XL, and there are tons of brands they carry that DO make larger sizes, but simons does not carry those sizes in store OR online. often i will see a piece at simons, then go to the brand's store or website to purchase my size, and i am not a particularly large person by any means - barely on the cusp of plus size. i don't know why simons thinks plus size people do not want fashionable clothing, but they are excluding a major market, and i often have friends lament that they wish they could shop here but can't. they're hardly the only company with this sort of attitude toward plus sizes, but it's ridiculous. anyway, my favourite part of shopping here is sometimes, for some reason, the james bond theme will play, which makes browsing mass-produced polyester blouses infinitely more entertaining.

Staff are generally very nice; one time, a sales associate was extremely upset with me for going into the fitting room without asking first. It was an unattended fitting room and there was no one around. I understand that I shouldn't have done that, but the sales associate was over-the-top condescending and rude, so I felt more guilty than I should have been. But other experiences have been good!

The selection is wide for both men and women's clothes, as are the prices. They range from affordable to, well, not affordable, but the quality is pretty good all around even on the less expensive items. The person that was working in the Men's Dress Shirt department was super efficient and she was very helpful, and the rest of the crew that helped us out in other departments were awesome as well! Visited Simons to get an attire for a very important interview and they were great! I normally don’t dress very fancy and didnt have any idea on what I was looking for in a dress shirt and pants combo but Michelle was extremely helpful in guiding me during my visit with tips and trick on what works and what didn’t. She gave me her honest opinion on what looked good and what didn’t which not many people do and I appreciated that. 10/10 for customer care!! Will be coming back for my future needs

Very good quality clothing store, all of my favourite hoodies and sweaters come from Simons. Their clothes can be quite pricey so make sure that you go when they have things on sale as I have seen prices slashed as much as 80% off which is a huge deal!! Their sales racks often have great shirts to increase your outfit combinations. I can go here and spend $110 on one sweater or $110 for up to 12 pieces of clothing it's fantastic! Plus they have a great rewards program if you choose to become a Simons club member.

Stylish, huge selection, and a nice balance of fast fashion and higher-end products. They have a large sustainable fashion line, support Canadian designers through their email campaigns, and when things go on sale they're great. Between my husband and I, we've bought 3 winter coats over the past 2 years and all have been excellent value. I wouldn't buy all my basics here without doing a bit of research, but for items you want to last and are willing to spend a bit more on - awesome. The house brands are great. My jacket is comparable to models that were twice the price at Le Chateaux and has held up much better than anything I've purchased from old navy or similar mall outlets.

Love love love this store! Always my first stop when I go to WEM. There are SO many different clothing departments/brands almost like mini “stores” within the store. I like the ease of being able to try on clothes from one area/brand at any other fitting room in the store; same goes with purchases/returns. The interior design of each area is unique and fun; lots of cool colour combinations and always an artsy touch. Customer service is generally good, sometimes you might come across someone who hates their job... I should also mention that there are things for every price range... they have high end brands where you can find shirts for over $5,000 or the regular cheaper brands with prices around $20 for a shirt (just a comparison). Generally the parking lot by both exterior entrances to the store are not as busy as other areas of the mall.

She tried to force 4 items into a tiny plastic bag and I have to ask her for a gift box to my wife's present. She did gave me one , the smallest one. She hardly can close the lid. One of the few remaining stores where you can find quality products for non-extortionate prices. In many places, items that are on sale aren't on sale because they aren't selling well, but because their quality is significantly poorer than regular-priced items. This is not so with Simons--at least, not to the same extent as other places. Another thing I like greatly about Simons is the sheer variety of products, which allows me to find clothes (most importantly, jeans) that fit properly. As someone who is rather tall and skinny, I have trouble finding affordable pants that don't look as though I've gone through puberty and out-grown them. Of course, there are some extremely pricey goods here as well, but if you've decided to splurge, you can definitely do that here and know that you're getting your money's worth. My experience with customer service has also been fairly good. Staff is helpful with inquiries, returns are easy and expedient, etc. The only thing of note is that staff on the floor, especially on weekends, is sometimes lacking.

I have seen Simons in West Edmonton Mall for quite a while, but never went in. Then I shopped here for the first time a couple weeks ago, and I am sad I have been missing out for this long! Excellent selection, quality products, and helpful service. One-hour service for tailoring is awesome. Nice loyalty program, too. All around excellent experience, I will definitely be shopping here again!

BRUTAL experience. We went to WEM as WEM hours state they are open till 9pm. Simons store was very busy with customers and they were asking people to leave because they closed at 7pm??? In this tough economy when sales are right under their noses I was completely shocked! If they go broke during this pandemic it will be their own fault!

I love this store. Love the variety and quality for the price. I only give it four stars as I expect a lot more when it comes to service in a large quality retail establishment like this. I think the mngt needs to do more inhouse training in regards to customer approach and correct responses to customer comments. I have made this comment before but it is going on deaf ears. Great product and variety otherwise and good prices.

Huge store with something for everyone. Went to the home section for the first time and found some cute gifts. Both the men's and women's have almost every style from casual to athletics to formal from high-end designer down to their own affordable line. Chances are if you find something too expensive there should be a cheaper alternative nearby.

I used to work here and I feel like people need to know how staff is treated. We are told on a regular basis that we are not allowed to talk to other staff members at all. We are not allowed to leave our specified departments. It kind of makes you feel like a caged animal walking back and forth in your perimeter. I was once called into the store directors office and asked why I wasn't signing up very many loyalty cards. I said i didn't want to feel like I was forcing it on people and she said "your not, just keep explaining to them why they should sign up". The management keeps track of how many are signed up and set an amount to have for the week. I know a guy who was fired because he didn't sign up enough customers. I also know another guy who was told he had to change his shirt because it was a woman's blouse. One manager in perticular was very mean. She would follow staff around to make sure they did what she told them. She yelled at an old woman who asked where the bathroom was. One of my coworkers was told by the customer service manager to wrap up a conversation she was having with a customer right in front of him and others. I went in to visit a friend after I left and the same customer service manager walked over and snobily said "you can't all stand here" right in front of me. The managers use the security cameras to spy on the staff. They would call our phones and let us know they had been watching us. It makes you feel like "big brother" is watching everything you do. So for those of you who say the staff looks disinterested or grumpy this is why. This is what they have to deal with on a daily basis.

I love this Simons location! It is a huge store with a vast selection of clothing for ladies and men. You'd need to spend hours to browse this store. The only thing I noticed is that the Calgary store has better customer service since the associates usually ask if you need help with anything. No one asked if I needed assistance at the West Ed location.

Terrible customer experience! Well Simons if you guys want to carry some designer brands, pls hiring staff who at least know something. I went there to buy a ACNE STUDIO beanie. All sales seem so busy and avoid eye contact with customers. Finally I catch a girl who knows nothing about the name but only say it is very expensive.....(well girl you should work in dollarama then. That is more suit for you) finally I paid the beanie and the sale just throwed it into a lame plastic bag without any wraps...... I will definitely go Holt renfrew next time:)

This is one of my favorite places to go shopping for outfits appropriate for teaching. There is a large variety of brands to choose from, and there are selections suitable to every budget. You definitely need to set aside time to look through the racks and try lots of things on. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, they treat customers with dignity and care.

Where are all the staff? Every time I go in there's less and less staff! Specifically in the men's area where I go shopping for my 3 boys and husband. I walked around for 15 min wanting to spend a good amount on clothing and couldn't find anyone! I left! But not only that another customer asked me if they found anyone and they left also after I said no 15 min and nothing. I came another day and this poor lady i found you could tell was overworked and running around to help me. She apologized it took so long and said "sorry we're short staffed and have been for a while" this explains why I feel the staff are so gloomy while trying their best to fix the problem from their hire ups. Are they not realizing how absurd and how badly it affects the service provided to anyone with cheaping out and saving a dollar to not hire anyone?! How am i to buy anything if there's no one to serve me!!!! So upset I've gone in a few times after and overheard the staff say they've been working the job of two people. I mean I understand it's retail but come on really? I've also had the displeasure of talking to a supervisor from mens area to do a return after I saw her mistreating a couple of the employees! Such a mood killer. Please. Please. Please. Fix this. I don't understand how this location is even able to remain open with the short staffed area. I go to Londonderry now. It's a 20 min extra drive for me but if I get service and greeted within 1 min at that location. There's a problem. Such a night and day difference with how much staff and how nice they are.
