Whoever is the person in pooja botique dealing with customers I think his name is Bobby darling he is a third class, his level is the lower than the lowest, with no manners, patience less, he does not know the meaning of respect, cheapest person ever I have seen in canada. If you will pay him whatever he is asking then Bobby darling is happy otherwise he uses the word "cheap" and "low level" for customers. This is my personal experience and personal opinion so I will never recommend any one to go for shopping at Pooja botique.

I liked their customer service and collection of sarees and salwars. But for some reason any saree we chose was $200 after discount. We got a feeling that we are not leaving the shop with a saree that is lower than $200. Then after buying the saree, they refused to give an invoice but included the tax while selling it. I gave $210 for a saree that is not refundable or no exchange that too without a receipt. Anyways I am happy with my saree.

I recently made a purchase from Pooja’s Bootique, the staff was very helpful in assisting me in finding the perfect outfit for my function. I must make mention of Bobby and sales associate Herman for their patience and commitment to excellent customer service. In addition to having the best designer outfits in Calagry at good prices they also have a great tailor so you are sure to leave with your perfect fit. The tailor was very skilled at his job and my outfit showed no signs of alterations after he was finished. Overall I had a great experience and would be shopping there again. ???? ( Abby )

One of the worst place to visit. Don't know if the guy works there is manager or owner but he is one of the worst personality. They set the price upon looking at you. The tag price and the money they are asking is huge difference. If this get slapped one day will not be shocking news for us as he deserves one for sure.

I came into Pooja's Boutique without an appointment and only a month and a half before my wedding, Bobby helped us out right away. He spent hours trying to sketch out the wedding dress I had in mind. Not only did he get the perfect image but managed to get my dress way in advance and it was SO beautiful. My husband's family bought their outfits from here as well and they loved it. The first time I entered Pooja's with my family I was beyond amazed. I had come to Calgary for a friends wedding for which I had to buy indian clothing. My sister lives in Calgary and recommended Pooja's Boutique telling me that it was the best in Canada and she definitely wasn't wrong. We were welcomed by the owner, Bobby and the employees greeting us and asking us if we needed any help. Bobby set us up and was very personable, friendly and professional. We told him that I needed a suit for the morning and a saree for the evening, and my sister also needed a suit and saree. The owner asked several questions to get a profile of me and immediately knew the suit for me. He showed me exactly what I was looking for and didn't waste my time. He showed us very high quality and high end clothing that blew my socks off. The quality of the suits was very nice and definitely worth the price. I'm kind of picky so it took me a while to decide. Bobby even sacrificed his own time and stayed open late for me. My sisters clothing fit perfectly but mine needed some work so the employees took my measurements for alterations. All alterations were done here and took about 2 days. After the alterations were done I tried the suit on and my family and I agreed that everything looked perfect and well fit. Overall this was an excellent place. Bobby knows the industry well, and his family has been in the business for generations. I got the personal attention I wanted, a good price, and satisfaction guarantee from Bobby. I highly recommend coming to Pooja's Boutique. My advice is to do your research and come with lots of questions. Bobby is happy to answer. And just be advised that he's very friendly and a good salesman, so if you have a budget, or know exactly what u want, don't be afraid to stand your ground. I will surely be coming back in the future whenever in the need of a suit.

I have purchased a few outfits from Poojas now and they've all been really great! Bobby provided me with my engagement party outfit which was beautiful and he got it altered in a very short time frame! He also provided my mom with her reception saree and sangeet outfit for my wedding and same for my sister. All the outfits we're so beautiful and trendy - he has a great collection! Both got lots of compliments during my wedding on their outfits. I also bought a couple other lenghas and find that his collection is unmatched. The alterations always come out excellent and Bobby provides great customer service whenever I am there! I will keep going back to Bobby to get timless, beautiful and classic pieces for all my Indian functions and weddings :)

Worst customer service ever. Walked in looking for a authentic jewelry piece and I was completely ignored. The man was on his phone chatting with a few other girls. HIs clothes are expensive but, you know you are getting unique quality items. I know lots of people from out of town who love coming to his shop when they have a special function to attend.

Buyer beware. Bobby is kind, until you give him the deposit - after he has your money he completely changes. He over promises and under delivers on the quality of his work and the delivery date. He tried to pawn off a completely different lehenga then what I asked to be custom made. I was left to find another wedding outfit just weeks before my wedding because of him. Read his negative reviews and don't be deceived thinking you will be ok - he has done this to others and will do this again. STAY AWAY!!

We needed outfits for our reception in August, and Bobby helped us find the perfect ones for our special day. He was honest, to the point, and made us feel welcome. they suggested things we hadn't even thought of, fabric styles, adding sleeves. The quality, detail, and colors are beautiful, and everything we could have asked for. Bobby, and the girls were/are very accommodating and helped pick what would best suit us within our price range. The owner Bobby seriously needs to take classes on customer service. I had an aweful experience. He stepped on my friends foot accidentally then he was never sorry for it. It's not that he didn't realize it. He looked at her right at the moment. The sales girls are absolutely unprofessional. I came by two of them and both were very confused about pricing and quality of stuffs. Worst part is they were making faces while dealing with us. Since we were so disgusted with their poor service we walked out eventually. At that time the owner called us "cheap". Can you believe it? Customers would always bargain. Grow some sense man, you're also a customer to some places. I would never ever recommend anyone to go to that store again no matter how fancy their stuffs are.

I wanted to give a 0 but 1 is the lowest I can give honestly I walked into this store with hopes of getting a reasonable dress for my uncles wedding I decided it should be simple and pretty so I decided to get a lehnga (plum with gold stitching) it was pretty simple I mean the stitching was just on the sides the owner Bobby priced the lehnga for $1400 it clearly didn't match the price it didn't have that much designing on it I don't get his logic he needs to get classes on how to deal with customers he called us cheap like honestly he's the cheapest person I've ever seen. Like honestly DON'T even enter this shop by mistake you could get the same dresses from Bhatia cloth house and Deepali fashion for a less expensive and reasonable price I was very disappointed

Edit: I haven’t mixed you guys with someone else. Working with Bobby was a mistake and a disaster for our family. We tried multiple times to resolve the issues to no avail. I posted a genuine review, maybe you can acknowledge that and try to improve your customer service.

I had such a wonderful experience working with Bobby and his team! I came here to get one of my bridal outfits and ended up customizing an outfit by making some changes to a design that I liked. Bobby worked very closely with me and gave me his insight as well. He has a keen eye for detail and provided me with great feedback on the changes I wanted to make. He brought my vision to life and exceeded my expectations. I absolutely adore the outfit! It was such a smooth process from start to finish. He guaranteed when the outfit would be ready and it was here on time. I did not have to inquire once to see if there would be delays or anything; he was great at communicating and did an excellent job. Working with him has been such a pleasure! Bobby and his staff were amazing to work with. My husband and I got married this January (2018) in Mexico and Bobby worked with our families to personalize all our outfits. We got to sit down with Bobby and plan exactly what looks we were going for. Bobby showed us examples, made drawings of what we envisioned and then delivered. I had no hesitations designing my wedding outfits with Bobby because the quality of clothes is amazing. My mom had her outfits custom made and then we were able to have my dad match her outfit which Bobby also designed. My brother and sister also got matching outfits for the ceremony. They colours were a great contrast to my outfit. The planning process and receiving the outfits was a smooth path. There is an amazing in house tailor that adjusts and does a seamless job! The whole team at Pooja's Boutique is amazing and I wouldn't have gone anywhere else! Amazing people and great quality outfits.

Clothes are very expensive and highly marked up. Better off going across the street for more reasonable prices and good quality. Despite all of the negative reviews about the owner I decided to check this place out. The owner was rude, ignorant and very cocky about how well his store is running. He is pushy and will talk about how his other clients spend thousands at his store if you tell him you do not want to spend more than a certain amount. Draining experience.. I left with a headache. We had our wedding in August of 2020 and had received our clothes well ahead of time. Bobby and his staff were amazing to work with. Bobby helped me bring our vision of our wedding clothes to life and had everything custom made from borders to dupattas to colours everything was purposeful and creative. One of the outfits came in the wrong colour and Bobby had a new one come in immediately. Bobby also kept his guarantee to alter our clothes right before the wedding despite us purchasing them months in advance. Would highly recommend.

Awesome customer service!! I needed an outfit in mid april for my engagement when everything was closed due to COVID-19. I set up a face time appointment and was so impressed with the selection they had to offer me that I asked them to show. I selected my outfit in 10 mins and the owner arranged to get it delivered to me. It was my first time puchasing from this place and will definitely buy my wedding outfits from them next year.

Horrible customer service. Owner is beyond rude and disrespectful towards the customers. They never keep their promises. Bought a dress from them ( extremely polite and full of giving false promises when bought the dress) they promised to do an alteration of the dress in 1 week as i was leaving town. I went after 1 week, employees were ignorant and after waiting for 45 min i was told the tailor isnt here and the dress isnt done. I demanded my money back but the owner was very disrespectful, stated that he did not promise to deliver on this day and it is not stated on the receipt as he pointed on it. I informed him it is written on the card thats with the tailor. When he brought the card back from the room he cut out the part where it stated the delivery date and time. After alot of hassle i got my money back. But it was a very unpleasant experience. I would not recommend anyone shopping from that store. 0 rating.

After hearing about this place from a friend, we decided to go look for party outfit there. Right from the beginning, the staff was very forceful in getting you to buy stuff and everything seemed over priced anyway especially since we hadn’t bought Indian clothes before. We liked a gown and they said they would charge extra for alterations which was fine but I wasn’t entirely sure and we asked them if they could hold the item and he said , you have to pay for it otherwise we can’t guarantee a hold. So we paid what we thought was a deposit. Little did we know, that they wouldn’t give it back . Two days later, my mom went to get the deposit back and he said we don’t do refunds. First of all, what is the point of the deposit if you aren’t planning on giving it back and even if that is the case, you should inform the customer before hand. Instead they were extremely rude and stated that they called us multiple times, in fact I was the one that called them to let them know that I won’t be needing the suit. Honestly worst customer service experience ever. He also tried to say that the amount for deposit was basically how much they charge for the tailor taking your measurements. Which we were never told and at this point the owner was jus making up stories because why would u charge for measurements that won’t even be used ever. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go there. Save yourself some time and go to other stores in the area which have much better customer service. Would give them zero stars if it were possible

Worst service I've ever received and none other than by the owner (Bobby) himself. Staff think it's beneath them to help a customer and you are judged once you walk into the store. Felt you are judged before they suggest any pieces for you to try on or look at. When we finally decided on an outfit we were asked if we were Ismali? What does "what we are " have to do with being a customer in this store. Pathetic customer service, abnoxious owner and way over-priced. Too bad this guy doesn't understand the basic principles of business. Will never go back or refer anyone to be subjected to this treatment.

My cousin is getting married and we came here to purchase a lengha for her upcoming wedding, we were told we would have to wait few weeks for the item to come in, we paid for the lengha which was around $1K. We continued to look around for a second option, we had found a different lengha at a different boutique, we went back to get a refund and we were denied our own money. I would just like to point out there was no sign, stating the refund or exchange policy, and we were told then we would be allowed to do an exchange where we picked even a cheaper suit, he still didn’t let us pick the product chosen. He refuses to refund us or exchange our money despite the fact we didn’t even receive the item we paid for.

I don't even know where to begin to describe the amazing service I received at Pooja's Boutique! Bobby and his team are so helpful, attentive and knowledgeable that it makes your entire experience so much more pleasant and you feel like a part of their family. I purchased all of my wedding outfits from Bobby along with my family's attire. I customized my reception lehengha and Bobby drew out the sketch, allowed me to hand pick the colors and promised it would be here in 8 weeks....it in fact arrived in 6 weeks and was a perfect fit! Everything about the custom suit was spot on. Alterations for the other outfits were done through the tailor at Pooja's and fit perfectly. Not only that but the work was extremely clean with a high attention to detail, especially at seams. From design, vast selection, customer service, price point, attention to detail and friendliness, Pooja's Boutique has it all!! You will not be disappointed shopping here! Had the worst experience shopping here! Myself, my two sisters and my mom have all sporadically shopped here for various occasions however, this last one was the worst! I wish it was possible to give 0 stars. We came in looking for custom outfits for my brother's wedding. 3 wedding day anarkali's and a gown for the reception for my mom. While everything came in on time, the stitching and the finishes were horribly done. The anarkali's were not made to the measurements and two of the four outfits had borders that were crooked and not aligned right on the front of the outfit! My mom's reception gown was way too long and way too big for her so we dropped it off to be altered. Bobby gave us a date to pick up 2 weeks out. When we went to pick up the outfit 2 weeks later, it was literally still sitting in the same spot he had put it when we dropped it off. He asked that we give him another week, and when my mom went to pick it up, it still had not been touched! That's 3 weeks and the outfit still hadn't been touched. He then promised it would be done the following day. Once my mom finally picked up the outfit and tried it on, the only alteration that was made was that it had been shortened. There was no evidence of him even bothering to get the fitting right nor did he fix the evidently crooked border. We are now a week away from my brother's wedding which isn't even in the city, and scrambling to get the outfits altered. Honestly, after spending almost $2,000 on four outfits, the service and the quality was disgusting and I will never shop here again. Bobby also blocks your number as he pleases should you try and text him regarding your outfits. Save your money, time and sanity and go to the other shops in the city. This place is absolutely garbage.

I tried on about 30 bridal outfits in Surrey but didn't find 'the one'. I knew I would find it at Poojas boutique because we had the same experience about 3 years ago for my sisters wedding. Bobby worked with me to get the perfect outfit, and within an hour of setting foot in his store, I found it!!!He did everything he could to get us what we needed and to find the perfect outfits for me and for the entire family. Somebody really needs to teach him some customer service skills. All his outfits are overpriced and there is nothing great about them. You are better off going somewhere else.

All the staff are very helpful and I could tell Bobby was invested in making sure my outfits were perfect. He 100% stands by the quality of his pieces and will make sure they fit you perfectly. I can be quite picky when it comes to clothing and they were very patient and made sure I found outfits I was happy with and were honest when something didn’t suit me. I was able to convey my vision for my wedding clothes and they made the ideas come to life. Their new showroom is absolutely beautiful and adds to the experience. I would recommend this store to any bride for their wedding shopping - and in fact anyone looking for fancier Indian outfits!

Hello Guys, Just want to share my personal experience going twice here. Before going to this place I saw very bad reviews for the owner because of that I was very scared going to this place that what will happen " if I will decide at last that I may not be afford or If I want to switch to other boutique, if the owner misbehave or yell on us"- as mentioned in their reviews. But after visiting and talking to him, just want to clear up that owner he is a very nice man. He trys to understand his customers demand and the lady out there, she makes us feel friendly too and helps us in wise decision. Let me clear out one thing, It's not that I purchased from his store that's why I am putting this review for him. I didn't purchased anything as my occassion got postponed, It's just my genuine feelings for the owner. So guys you can go and visit Pooja boutique without any fear in mind for the owner's behaviour. He is a very good guy and will help you in your decision.

Every time I've tried looking at other shops I always find I come back to Pooja's and only buy from them. They have the best selection and quality by far! I find the prices reasonable for what you are getting. The quality speaks for itself. I've always walked out feeling like I got a good deal. The staff is always friendly and courteous. This time I went for a custom piece but needed it to be a rush job (5 weeks). They delivered the lehenga early! It fit perfectly and the quality really shows. I was super stressed about ordering my wedding dress from Pakistan because of fitting and quality but when I went to Bobby he brought my dream dress vision to life and made exactly how I wanted it. Bobby is very unprofessional and do not know how to talk to clients. He yelled at me when he messed up our order and said it was our fault . We asked for different prints and gave us totally different prints that we didn't ask for, when asked he said they didn't have any. Atleast let us know beforehand that you don't have it and we can choose something else, he picked what he liked and not what we wanted. Bobby just lie about everything and our order was late we got our outfits few days before the wedding and not even what we asked for. Please guys take your business somewhere else
