Excellent little store. There is a whole bunch of products imported from all over Europe but mostly Ukraine. So many unique products and the staff are friendly! They also have Kvass which is delicious.

Best price I've ever seen on giant jars of pickles! This shop has a good mix of products and import goods... prices vary from excellent to a bit expensive... but they also provide friendly help and travel services as well as parcel shipping to ukraine at incredibly low rates compared to canada post. My package to ukraine got there in record time, for record price, was hand delivered by a special courier not some local mail service, and was intact! If you speak Ukrainian or Russian this store has extra value, or if you can bring a friend...but as a fun drop in shopping experience for anyone you'll find cool things here.

Orbit was introduced to me by a friend and I will definitely be back. If you blink you will miss them, as their store front is very small. There is paid parking on the street in front and around back (the back is a parking lot and you will pay by the hour). Going inside, you are greeted by plenty of Ukrainian and Russian gifts, folk clothing, and treats. The treats seem to run the length of the store because I found them everywhere! In the back half of the store is where you find the grocery items, including salt fish and smoked fish. You haven't had smoked fish until you've had this smoked fish: it is a bit pricey but worth every penny! They also have different breads, drinks, snacks, sauces, condiments, and so much other foodstuffs from the Eastern Bloc that you would be hard pressed to find in Canada. The staff are helpful and maintain a reserved attitude, which is refreshing from the pseudo-kindness you find in some small business. I loved my experience there and will definitely be back soon, especially for more of that smoked fish!

I have gone here every winter for all my Orthodox Christmas needs. The lovely lady who owns it (Luba) has always been friendly and helpful. The homemade Nalysnyky, pelmeni and verenyky are wonderful. Excellent pricing and personal service. A small local business worth supporting.

I went to Orbit to buy some Ukrainian Christmas music. The owner showed me some cds with Christmas music and I asked her to select a decent cd for me. She selected and gave me a cd of Christmas Carols she recommended. When I got home I noted there was no plastic wrap on the cd and proceeded to open the cd. Inside was a homemade burnt and pirated cd marked with black felt pen. The cd is very low quality sound and now I have to return to this store when there is only pay parking in the area. Great way to rip off customers for $21.00 plus the expense of parking and your time. (she gave no receipt) Wonder if she will give a return? Avoid this store!

great cabbage rolls and perogies. love them this is a message for the lady that said she didnot receive a receipt. i always get one. did you ask her for one? sometimes people are so busy with things on their mind they forget to ask if you would like a receipt, just trying to help!!!!!!

Very bad. Products without data best before. We bought meat(mini bacon), roasted sunflower seeds, kvas and thrown everything in garbage because it was waste. Never come back to this store again.
