Wow! This location is amazing. I usually shop at the location at the South side but this location may just be my new shopping spot. I was in around 6 tonight and the staff are so nice! They were young but so experienced and knowledgeable about all the products they have in the store, and with some stuff perhaps even more then me, haha! The girl that rang me through was so sweet and practically ran around the store trying to help me find an item that I said I wasn't able to find. Will be recommending this location to my friends, store is clean, staff are kind and selection is amazing!

Recently tried to sell items at this location and had a terriable experience, I brought in brand name mint condition items which were all in season might I add, they "graciously" picked out 3 items and offered me pennies for them. They have a store full of out dated heavily used items and are not willing to buy current clothing in mint condition? Would not buy or sell here ever again. Defiantly do not recommend as a seller. You would be better off selling clothing on kijiji or let go.

This is my go to store to sell to and buy from. I have 5 year old twins and so I love that I can get both of them clothes with a ton to choose from. Sometimes I find a load of special things and sometimes I find just one item that I like. It’s always changing so it fun to see everything new each time. Fair prices and they buy for fair prices as well. Love this place.

Nice store full of quality clothes, people say they're expensive but they're really not especially when value village is charging as much or more for clothes that aren't as meticulously selected. The only shortfall is some sizes don't have a huge selection. I sold some items there and was accidentally shorted $10 but the staff reimbursed me and provided some coupons for the store which was really nice. Lots of parking. Probably could be in a better location though it's kinda tucked away.

Love this little hidden gem of a store! The clothing is always in such good condition, sometimes you can find items that are brand new! Some of the items are priced rather high, given that this is a second hand store. We find that toys, baby gear/accessories are usually quite pricey. The clothing is priced more reasonably. We love going on their sale days because you can get so much nice stuff for really good prices

A fairly mid sized ranged store for babies, infants and toddlers things. They sell quite new and fairly new children clothings and things. The staffs were helpful, friendly and welcoming. Will surely visit again. Just that they do not sell fairly used toddler car seats that I also needed when I visited the store.

wish I could rate zero stars. the staff members at this location are very mean, and if you have questions, you're basically on your own because nobody helps you with anything. a large portion of the clothes are pilled, faded, stained and some even have holes, yet they still put it out on the rack. Edmonton locations are FAR superior, this place is a joke and the owner is horrible!!

You or whom ever you know that has a child needs to go here. Kids grow fast and don't need the latest trends why buy new when you can buy something clean and still pretty new here? There are shoes, costs, and toys. Bring a bag for a discount. You can even sell back clothes you have.

I've noticed that this chain store is getting worse for being cheap when buying clothing. I have also found that they have narrowed their aisles. When two strollers meet its the "standoff" situation. Found it easier to sell clothing on kijiji than going here. Staff are often young and inexperienced as far as customer service. The idea is great but they have become greedy.

The only place you should shop for children's clothes. Great selection from birth to pre-teen. All fairly modern clothes, with still a selection during sales. Toys, winter gear, swim suits, baby items you name it this is your one stop shop for gently used or new items for your child(ren)

I don't care how well off you are or how poor. This store is a must for a family with a child. Kids don't stay in clothes for long so why pay new prices? You get gently used clothes at bargain prices. There reward scheme is not just a scam to get your email. When your done with your clothes return them in good condition and get paid for them. The Sherwood park location took 12 of the items i took in that came from my friends house but when she went to go back the refused all her stuff cause they said it all smelled like smoke even though they came from the same house. The manager on shift tjat also took my stuff and my friends stuff doesn't know the policy on how much stuff they take in for clothes or ither item's she also likes to present attitude towards customers if she is proven wrong

This store is my weakness!! Like my husband has to monitor me closely when we venture even remotely close to here! The location is bright and clean compared to the others in edmonton. We fell in love with OUAC when we were first pregnant and visiting Calgary and since then Sherwood park location has been a very dangerous location for me to go to lol for my wallet that is... I truly enjoy the stuff I find there and the staff are always friendly and welcoming

I've never purchased from once upon a time but decided to take my clothes to this location. I can't believe how clean it is and their products are like new. When I have another baby I'm definitely coming here for baby clothes. Amazing condition!

they have some great children clothing and a fairly good price(for most items) some things are over priced but you just need to look around. It adds up quickly but the clothing is almost brand new(some literally is brand new) i bought a bunch of clothes here for my two daughters and most of the clothing i bought looked like it never even been washed or worn. The only thing i didn't like is i brought a big bin filled with 200 + clothing and they only took a couple things from the box. I felt like it was a big waste of time on my part. most of the clothing was in awesome condition too. on the other hand, the staff here are very friendly! If your anything like me, the price adds up quick when shopping. They have so many wonderful clothes, sometimes i can't help but spend more than i had planned.

Clearance items are all mixed in with clothes so makes it extremely hard if all your looking for is clearance items.

Wasn't impressed. Their prices were marked up by almost double compared to the other location on the southsside. Example: At the Southside location I paid $2.50 for a 3 month sleeper, sherwood park they were asking $4-5.

Love the store was shopping around for my 2 year old and 6 year old and had to go back to the front and get a cart. I filled my cart with shoes and clothes for less than $200 including guess jeans that were my size in their size 16 youth section

I like that if you call early enough, they can reserve a spot for your bin. And they will explain to you what they buy. No cheap brands, no pilling, no shrunken clothing, and no flaws. If you listen to them then you wont have to give a bad review when your clothes are rejected.

Love this location. Aisles are very spacious. I do wish there was more variety, especially for 2T and 3T girl and for size 7/8 shoes for toddlers. It's also hard to find newborn specific sized sleepers, though they have plenty in 0-3 month and up. The pay counter gets quite crowded when they are a little busy and there is not a space for a line up.

They have a pretty decent amount of kids clothes for cheap. It's like the infant/toddler version of winners. You can get name brand stuff for rock bottom deals. There is also toys, puzzles, and books to buy as well. I haven't tried this yet but they will buy the used clothes that don't fit anymore as well.

In my family, visits to Once Upon A Child in ON were an exciting outing. Imagine my joy when we were expecting our own and I learned that there was one close to home in Sherwood Park. I've been there twice already and walked out with bags full of necessities at a mere fraction of the cost I would have paid retail. For a newborn, who could ask for better than 10 onesies for $10? Seriously? For the amount of time he spends in them I refuse to buy new. The staff have been extremely helpful assisting me in finding the right size for my long and narrow preemie, and I expect visits to OUAC will be a regular occurrence. I also feel good that I'm giving gently used clothing a purpose instead of languishing in a closet or worse, the dump! Sometimes you even get BRAND NEW items with the tags on. Can't beat this deal for the frugal mama!

I absolutely love going to this location! I brought in 2 boxes of clothing and was able to sell some to them. I shopped around while they looked through the clothing and was able to find a bunch of dresses etc for my girls. I always have a good experience coming into the store. Some may think their prices aren't fair for what they buy from you, but if you know what they pay for items (roughly 30% of what they sell the item for instore) before going in you have a better idea of what to expect. I will be back again soon

Looked at shoes for my daughter and was highly disappointed. Way overpriced for dirty well worn shoes. I'm not just talking a few pairs - there were a lot of them in the bins like this. I'm surprised they were even accepted, let alone the high prices for shoes that are not even fit for resale (for more than $5.00 at Sally Anne).

Generally very fair pricing. They have events where you can get 10 bodysuits for $10 so it's worth it for sure. I find though that you have to really pay attention to where they put the tag in to the clothing. A lot of the time they tend to stick the tag directly through the clothing and when you cut it off it leaves a hole. Only buy it if the tag is through the label on the back so it isn't automatically wrecked when you get it home. They don't pay a ton and are very picky on what they will buy from you so if it's not in perfect condition or a big brand name they won't take it. We still love going here.

I have been to several OUAC locations, most of which in Calgary, and this one was clean and bright. My biggest issue was that the store was not busy and my mother and I were shopping together, approached the till together, and were talking the entire time. As we were shopping for my sister and picked out our items, we paid separately, but only after my mother had paid did the cashier ask if I wanted to get a few more books to take advantage of the 10 for $10 deal. At this point I was livid. Why would you advise me of a deal AFTER one of us has already paid and it was clear that we were shopping together. There were no efforts to make adjustments or anything it was just an "oh..." response from the cashier when I said that we could have paid together had we known about the deal. Poor, poor employees at this location and their prices are higher than other OUAC locations that I have visited. Every other location I have been to looks at the items and asks if you knew the deals before you paid, incase you want to find something else/put something back. Buying baby items isn't cheap, and even with second hand items OUAC still manages to steal money from hard working people. My advice, if you love your hard earned money, DO NOT SHOP HERE.

Sherwood Park location is by far my favorite location to date! The staff is pleasant to deal with and they only take in quality clothing free of stains and/or rips unlike some other locations I've visited. I will however mention that the store isn't very clean but it's not horrible.

This is my favorite once upon a child store and the furthest from my house. It is organized, has the biggest variety of name brands and I appreciate how they clear items out with sales for clothing turnover. I've sold items a few times and never have had an issue.

I was excited to get some deals but I did find things to be pricey. $90-$100 for a bassinet that is scratched up is kind of a joke. Sleepers were $5 each so I got a couple but I still feel that’s a bit much when carters often has them on sale for a similar price new. Felt super cramped in the store, had to ask to see every swing or playmat. I felt as if I was a bother. Don’t think I’ll be back , I couldn’t imagine trying to get a stroller through there.

I just dropped off all brand new, brand name clothing and most stuff never worn, not one piece of Walmart clothing except a pair of shoes worn like 3 times and a couple brand new bathing suits. Every item was paid less than $2 except 2 or 3 items. I was offered $5 for a mint Guess leather jacket? Yeah no thanks. This may be the place to buy but I’d get more fulfillment giving the stuff away. They must be making a killing. I’m so disappointed & I won’t be back.

This location is terrible! On 3 separate occasions in one month I took a bin of clothes into the store and was promptly turned away, saying they were no longer accepting clothes for the day and to try again tomorrow. I have come to realize that it is no longer worth my time selling or buying from here. Also, on 2 other occasions they had advertised a "fill a bag for $15". I went in, hoping to get some clothes for my 4 year old and 9 year old. They said only certain items were accepted in the bags, that have a special tag. I searched the racks, and not one item of clothing was acceptable in size 4, 5, or 12 in the girls section. Once again, a huge waste of time. This is a big surprise to me, since this store is harshly over crammed with items, and nearly impossible to try to find or look at things on the racks without knocking 4 other items off. It's cramped, hot and totally disorganized. Their problem I guess. They might want to find a larger store. Ill never go back, even if they do.

I have used this store before both as a buyer and a seller and have been satisfied with it. However, this last go round selling I had a bad experience. I sold many expensive high quality items to them for a very low price. They sort of just gestured to a pile somewhere and told me that was what they wanted to buy. Then after I had consented they made me sign a paper and gave me my money. Then when I requested an itemised list of what they had offered they said it was too late. So apparently ask for an itemised list of prices because they will rip you off.

The only time it's worth it to shop here is when they have their bodysuit sale. Most clothes are heavily worn and overpriced/outdated. Sleepers are cheaper to buy new. They have George brand priced at six or seven dollars (3 for $15 at walmart) also pekkle brand for $7 (7.99 new at costco) Carter's brand can also be purchased new at Costco for $8. Personally it makes more sense to watch the sales at retail stores (there is always a sale somewhere) and buy new for less or the same price, and have it last longer. Also the staff is not helpful, they seem to be more interested in cellphones, and socializing with each other. The checkout process is slower than it needs to be, even when the store is empty. The store is poorly organised and could be cleaner, they have left no room for check out lines so you end up squeezing down clothing aisle (so you have to wait to shop when they are busy)
