Moores has provided me and my fiance with the worst service I have ever experienced! My fiance went to pick up a suit for another wedding he was in and they looked at him (size 36 jacket) and still sent him home with a size 46 suit jacket (yes he could have looked in the bag and said something but he shouldn't have it, the suit is under his name with his size), didn't even say anything, when we called to tell them they gave us the wrong jacket they didn't even check to see if his jacket was in just told us to come in and they would see what they could do!! I brought it back 2 days later, was told they would order it in and it would be in in 4 days and they WOULD CALL US - on the fourth day we hadn't received a call so I called them and they said it would be in the next day and they WOULD CALL US AROUND 1 - no call the next day so I called them again and they said everything was in. I sent my dad in to pick it up and they couldn't find his purchases!! My dad was there for over an hour while they looked for his suit and shirt. On another occasion my fiance went in to pick up suit pants he had already paid for and when he got in to the store the employee informed him that they had put his pants back on the shelf to sell them even though he just got the call that morning and HE ALREADY PAID FOR THEM!!!! I do not understand why their customer service is so horrible, people come in with entire wedding parties needing suits, you'd think they'd have enough practice with customers to make this stressful event a little easier!!

Really hard to review this place. My boyfriend went in there to get a suit for his mothers funeral...However he didn't get great service from Mark. Seems someone else came in, and Mark moved on to a bigger sale! So another girl helped him. Wish I had her name, because she sold him a very ill fitted suit. The pants were 2 sizes too big for him. We went to pick them up after they were hemmed and I was shocked at what they sold him....(he's not a suit wearer) Anyways, finally Malyssa Pye helped us. She was wonderful!!! She saw him in the suit and immediately sprung into action! Sold him two separates that fit (and no extra charge). Anyways, overall if it wasn't for Malyssa (she gets 5 stars BTW) I would of filed a complaint at head office. Shame on you other two sales people!!!!

The level of attention that is given to their service is incredible. I have never met anyone that delivers the same level of detail and expertise. Also, the only recognized men's formal wear store. Tip top is ok but i feel like Moores stands out.

Had the absolute worst service you could ask for here. Rented 4 suits for the groomsmen for my wedding, and provided the measurements ahead of time. None of the suits fit when we came to pick them up (not to mention they didn't even know where they were). When they finally found them, we tried them on to get the final alterations done to then before the wedding. Upon picking them up, it was abundantly clear that none of the much needed alterations were made. Each one of my groomsmen were stuck with ill fitting suits. It's unfortunate that I can't give less stars to this place, as it was the cause of an unreasonable amount of additional undue stress. I would highly, highly recommend NOT using these guys for suit rentals. On top of this, one of their staff, Sandro, was ridiculously condescending the entire time we spent in the store. Use these guys at your own risk.

Very judgy, condescending staff. They try to sniff out wealth on the people walking in, and if you don't smell right then you're frankly beneath them. What, just because I walk in wearing shorts and a T-shirt, I can't know what a European vent is? But if I walk in wearing a suit, they literally won't leave me alone -- but once I tell them all I want is a tie, I can't get anyone to so much as look at me again. Hard pass. I'd rather buy a suit from the thrift store down the street than from these guys.

I was willing to give this location a couple of tries, but every time they fall short of expectations and most of the staff come across as rude and disinterested. Selection is either dramatically limited or staff just plain don't give a damn, it's difficult to tell. I've never seen a men's clothing store that only had a handful of dress shirts in a size to choose from. Everything here has an upcharge and the upsell should be expected. This location takes a lot of liberty with the use of a franchise name to keep bringing them customers, because without it...they get beat on service, selection and often price as well.

Moores service has definitely deteriorated over the years. I have bought 3 suites and several pants and shirts over the years from there. This had been my store of choice for dress ware until today as I will definitely not be going back if I can help it. Went there today with my wife to pick out a pair of pants , and/or a suit and it started off well, as one older skinnier gentleman asked if we needed a hand. At that point we didn't so we said no. Later when we needed a hand we got one of the sales lady to give us hand. Then it turned into a gong show as this older, bigger gentleman (wife says it is the manager but I am not sure) joined and tried to also help out. His attitude and demeanour, unfortunately, was less than helpful and I wish he hadn't tried to help out. Long story short we left frustrated and feeling quite defeated and unwelcome in the store because of that gentleman's attitude. So we went to TipTop tailors in Midtown where we bought the suite and then picked up a pair of dress shoes at the Bay to go with it.

My husband and I went with Moore's for our wedding and we're not super happy with our experience. First, when we went in to have my husband measured the first time, they didn't have the "Super slim" pants for him to try on. He mentioned that it was important to him to have slimmer pants, and they assured him that the slim fitting pants would be. Without having a sample for him to try on, we just had to take their word for it. The issues started when the tux first came in, about 6 days before our wedding. My husband tried on the pants and they were indeed baggy. When we voiced our concerns to staff, they basically scoffed and said "Well, it's a rental. You can't expect it to fit like you see on TV". They ended up having to order him a different pair of pants anyway, because these ones didn't fit. We also had to buy him a shirt ($65) because the ones that came with the tux didn't fit him properly. Again, we received attitude about renting tuxes, and not getting custom suits. When I came in the next day with one of the groomsmen, we noticed that one of the pant legs was an entire 1.5 inches longer than the other! We once again received attitude from a staff member, telling us that we can't expect it to fit perfectly because it's a rental. When you're spending ~$3000 on tuxedo rentals, you deserve to have your rentals fit. On our wedding day, two of the groomsmen had buttons fall off their tux jackets. We ended up having to "lose" my husband's pants to get them taken in, otherwise he wouldn't have been happy with them. Honestly, the only good aspect of our experience was our interactions with one staff member, Sandro, who tried very hard to make sure we were happy. Otherwise, I would not recommend going with Moore's for your wedding.

i went to this store today without knowing what to get, but marc explained to me the differences of tuxedo and a suit then helped me out on measurements and all the things that i needed to get, simple and no rush. now im just waiting to get the suit pants to get it trimmed. all thanks to marc and his co-worker ( i did not get his name ) for this awesome shopping experience and there is a discount too, will be back in the future for sure!

The staff are mostly horrible, they are always busy chatting amongst themselves and there’s only one person (sometimes) that helps the customers. They don’t help you unless you stick to them and ask for help. The prices are okay but the styles are too outdated!

My grandparents went in to get a suit for my wedding and the employees at this location have been absolutely phenomenal. Their first visit, Vince, helped with colours and sizing. My grandpa looks sharp and said Vince was very efficient! Their second visit was to pick up the suit after alterations. On the way in, my grandpa had a dizzy spell, and one of the employees helped walk him in, sit him down, and got him water. They were so helpful and kind and I really appreciate hearing that my grandparents were taken care of. Thank you so much!

Friend of mine set up suit rentals here as part of his wedding. From the get go we found that the staff San dro was incredibly rude and condescending. He provided some of the worst customer service that any of us have ever experienced in our lives in terms of how unnecessarily rude and short his interactions were with us. We were told that adjustments to our suits would be ready that evening (we arrived first thing in morning). When we started trying everything on the next day it was clear our clothes had not been touched as there were still numerous issues that had been identified during the fitting. For a $250 rental fee per suit this location should be absolutely ashamed of themselves.

If you want to look like the class act you always knew you were, but could never figure out how to dress, go talk to Adrian! That man deserves a cookie... I wanted to buy a nice fitting suit and since I am between being big and tall and average it is hard. The smallest shirt at Big and Tall felt like a tent, while the largest at Tip Top made me feel like an overstuff sausage. So Adrian looked after me found a nice shirt and tie that fit perfect. After this great experience I brought my best man and groomsmen here to get our wedding suits, and Adrian delivered. They were all made to order suits, and the fabric we picked made us look suave. The orders came in extremely quickly and any additional alterations (if needed) were completely free. Long story short, I would highly recommend this location and all there staff, I have had a great experience with all of them (shout out to Paul and Chrissy as well, all great!). However if you want to especially look like a gentleman, go talk to Adrian at the Moore's at Polo Park.

Went to get a custom suit for my fiancé for our wedding and weren’t told the vest we purchased was not included with the suit. So paying $495 for a jacket and pants. First issue we had was when we went to pay the money came out of the account but didn’t show as accepted on their machine. Today we go back to see about removing the $150 vest and getting a refund and says they can’t do it. Something about having to phone customer service and it taking a week. Then can’t get a receipt or any sort of refund for a $700 suit. Will not be returning to this Moore’s.

Not impressed with customer service. My son and a friend went in today and were left for 25 minutes without service -by manager. When they did request help in choosing a suit for prom and Grad were informed all the shirts were in plastic and were not to try them on. ???? Subsequently they went to another store where they each bought a suit and accessories and were treated with the respect they deserve.

Terrible experience. Went on as a student looking for a sport coat to wear out on the town, immediately the man brought me a $1200 JACKET ONLY. All he brought me were the most expensive ones he could find. Finally I told him I would be just looking around and I found a nice $220 one that was exactly in my budget. He then came around to check on me and I told him I would be taking this one and he instantly got pissed off at me, making rude comments on how poor quality it is and how I will be needing it repaired the next day. He then led me to the till and continued to try and sell me on the most expensive ones again!! I finally said I wanted someone else to ring me up so he marched away in a very angry fashion as I went to the next till which a woman was working at. I was very happy with the woman that ringed me up, she was very polite and told me it was a nice jacket for the price and so on. When she asked me who helped me today I told her to put her name down for the commission. I looked over my shoulder and the man who was with me before was glaring at me from across then store. Overall I am very unhappy with the service that I was provided. Never going back or recommending anyone to this store

I just came here with my fiance. We were greeted by Karin (not certain how to spell that). My fiance told him that we are looking for rentals. Karin introduced himself to my fiance only, shook his hand only, and abruptly turned around to lead us towards the back of the store. My fiance said, "This is Selena." Karin replied, "Yep!" and continued walking without turning around. I responded audibly with, "...Okay?" No response. It was quite audible, since I was feeling irritated. When we reached the back of the store, Karin pulled 1 chair out, motioned for my fiance to sit, and said that someone will be with us shortly. He never made eye contact with me. I later noticed that he was walking around eating a celery stick, then sat down in a chair to watch the TV they had mounted on the wall. The person who helped us in the back was sweet, but also quite timid, so I didn't think it would be valuable to vent about Karin to her. I sent an email to their customer service instead. My fiance wanted my opinion before moving forward with his suit rentals, especially since he doesn't know what colour my wedding dress is and I want the suits to complement it. You can imagine what my firm decision was after that experience.

I had to make a quick stop as I had forgotten my garment bag at home and I was in Saskatoon for a business conference. The staff were extremely helpful and helped me pick out a sport coat that fit great and looked good. The coat was also on sale which was a nice bonus. Not too sure when I will be back in Saskatoon, but I will pop in again to this Moore's when I am.

I received great service from this Moore’s location. When I was at one of their other locations, their sales man was really pushy and kept trying to get me to purchase a custom suit even though I told him the suit I was getting was for a specific event and most likely would be worn sparingly after that. This location was great as they helped me with exactly what I needed and I ended up finding a suit that fit my needs perfectly. The turn around time on the tailoring was pretty quick too as I got the suit back within 5 days

I was shopping at the Moores Store on Tollgate Road in Cornwall yesterday for my husband and son. Excellent shopping experience! Dane was a most accommodating and attentive sales person I have ever dealt with. I explained what I was looking for and was concerned about the cost. He cheerfully went through all the clearance items for me to find suitable garments at prices I could afford without making me feel like a nuisance. Will definitely shop there again.

I had an exceptional experience at Moore's. I came in on a very slow night. The guys working there were quick to jump up and extremely helpful with aiding me with putting together an outfit for a special event. They found items that fit properly after measuring me. They made good suggestions. After I had pants, two new shirts, and a vest picked out I got an even better than advertised discount when I went to pay. A very enjoyable experience, I will go there again.

I walked out after ten minutes. I wanted a suit vest that went with shoes, pants and tie I brought in for reference, "which I bought at Moors in Surrey" I get that they are commission based sales, but my salesman was impatient with me and kept quickly talking to me, then scanning the store, maybe for other customers he thought he would have a faster sale with? I said I'd like a suit vest three or four times, each time he came back with me getting a sport jacket, and then said, well if you still want a suit vest we can do that.... seriously! High pressure rushed sales tactics had them loose about 250$ And I feel the store manager is going to counter my low review on Google, but hopefully take some responsibility for how they sell stuff. I have to start this review off by explaining that I HATE shopping for clothes, and I prefer to shop for baseball hats and hiking boots rather than formal wear, but there comes a time every few years when you need to refresh your formal wardrobe and get some new suits. I should also mention that I have about 10 years of retail management experience and about as many years in sales experience, this may make me a little more critical than the average retail shopper. Dreading this day, I went into Moores to inquire about custom suits. I'm a big barrel chested (beer belly) guy that rocks skinny jeans so it's never easy to find an off-the-rack suit that fits me the way I want. I was greeted with a warm "welcome to Moores" as I walked in and was told that the guy to see what on the phone and he's be just a few minutes. As soon as this gentleman was done on the phone he walked over and introduced himself (Khyler) and started asking me the usual questions. I explained that I wasn't really into shopping for clothes and he really seemed to take that into consideration for the rest of the process which I appreciate more than any long winded review could convey. Khyler went through all of my options with me, making me feel confident in my decisions along the way. He had me try on jackets and pants from the store to get an understanding of my style, etc. Once we decided on a brand, he went to work taking measurements, followed by helping me through the dizzying amount of options available. Before I knew it, I was done! All I had to do was bring my partner back to okay the fabric (she's the real boss here). I explained this to Khyler and he told me his schedule and I left excited. A few days later I returned with the boss and was greeted by Khyler, I introduced my partner and Khyler had made a point to remember details about her that I had mentioned in my first visit (a very nice touch). We changed one of the suits from blue to grey and five minutes later Khyler was typing up the paperwork. Another 10 minutes and I was swiping my card and shaking his hand. I have to say that as a person who was DREADING this experience Khyler made this it not only bearable but actually a pleasure! Thanks Moores for employing a guy like Khyler as even though it may seem like a regular day for most people, formal wear shopping can be a real chore for some. I can't comment on the quality of the suit as it wont be delivered for a few weeks but I was so impressed with the level of service I received that I felt compelled to review right away. I will update when my suit comes in. Big thanks to Khyler again for making me feel confident in my purchase and making what could have been a terrible experience an absolute pleasure!

Unfortunately the second associate who ordered a replacement tie for my son ordered the wrong one, so he'll be attending a once-in-a-lifetime event with the wrong tie. It's extremely disappointing. (Apparently they don't get any weekend deliveries so 43 hours notice wasn't enough to order in the correct tie before Saturday afternoon.) Noah helped arrange 2 children’s suit rentals for my sons to attend my sister’s wedding. It’s not easy dealing with children at the end of a rainy Friday but Noah was personable and professional from start to finish. Thank you.

I also like the staff - helpful without being pushy. I've also got items altered and have had great service there. 3 words = HORRIBLE, LIARS, DECEITFUL. I almost spent $1670 for 2 suits, pair of shoes, 2 dress shirts, and plenty of accessories. Service was bad. They lied about not having specific suits, pricing, availability, and sizing available until i asked several staff the same question, then was able to get a few selections. The manager, clearly was the manager, but lied about being one and was SUPER LAZY. All his other staff were of no help, unsure, or just couldn't answer our questions - the manager seemed like he managed all the sales as we had several people helping us but he just came and had them replaced. The staff member who helped us was a wealth of information and had a great sense of humour, which made for an enjoyable shopping experience. The suits are tailored with options such as a tapered leg and a permanent crease if you like. We purchased a suit for $200 plus $12 for tailoring and $10 for a permanent crease. We visited this location to pick out suits for my sisters wedding both for my father and fiance. Chad was easy to work with and knew which styles made sense for each of their body types but was also what they wanted. We ended up purchasing one custom suit and one off the rack which we had altered in very short turn around time as we were in a bit of a time constraint. They also had a good selection of dress shirts, shoes, belts and ties so we picked up those there as well. Was a one stop shop for us with great service.

I wanted to get a custom suit for my wedding this summer and after reading up on some of the options Moores provide for custom suits, I was ready to give them a try. I can say, I was not disappointed. From the moment I walked in, the staff were all friendly and willing to assist. From the moment Brad introduced himself and asked how he could help, he provided outstanding service. We went through all the swatches of fabric to determine which suit will work best for my wedding and for everyday occasions. Very energetic and what I think makes customer service work, he listened to what my needs were and provided suggestions if I wasn't too sure what would work best. I spent about total of 2 hours which didn't seem that long and at the end of this experience, I can honestly say I'm sold for custom suits. I can't wait to see my suit and I want to thank Brad for all his awesome efforts today. Before I left for an oversea trip I ordered a tailored suite at a price tag over $1000 with a free set of a cheaper suite. It was paid to be tailored. The work was horrifying. When I went to pick up the ordered suite, it was poorly made with loose back, misaligned shoulders. Terrible people as they almost booted me out when their boosted for their poor service and poor quality cloth. Take a look at the phot of the result of tailored suite! Worse than the one from value village. Those people shall be fired.

I am completely unimpressed with the customer service. The sizes in kids shirts were confusing as the "small" appear larger than the "medium". I asked for help from a man who really did not seem that interested in helping me figure it out. Then at cash, I noticed that there was a thread pulled affecting the seam. The cashier called someone over (I think it was the same man?) who said to have the tailor "touch it up". When that person was not available he said to do an RTV and then left. I asked the cashier what this meant. She said it meant "return to vendor" and she was sorry but I could not purchase it (and there were no others). How inconsiderate of that decision-making man to leave it to the poor cashier to explain to me that I just wasted my time in there. And then how inconsiderate of the man to not offer to have the tailor "touch it up" at another time and I could pick it up later. I hope that shirt does not end up in a landfill somewhere or back on the rack unfixed. I generally got the impression that for some reason, the man did not like me.

Moors is an absolutely exeleny place to go for clothing of a fancy selection. In the past when I have needed to come here I was being fitted for a tuxedo. When they were taking my mesurements they did it so well but had a great a outlook and opinion of what matches to me and what colors go great. They knew everything about their tuxedo jackets and what is for what occasions normally. The one time I came here was for my Grade 12 graduation and I was being fitted for a royal purple tuxedo. I only rented though as to buy what they have here is very very expensive. I would highly recommend this location to other men. Great customer service all around.

Update 21/03/17: Went back the other day, saw Paul again who was eager to help us even though we were just really using our certificates. Another positive experience! Update: Turns out one of my sleeves came out shorter than the other, noticed it after taking one group photo. The tailor fixed it but not after a short discussion; at first they said it was the same length, measured it, then said I only ordered one sleeve to be altered despite it saying "2 SLEEVES" on the computer screen. That costed them a star on this review, generously because I've had a good experience prior to this. Got my suit for grad here, was helped by a nice lady named Marya. A nice gentleman named Paul helped me try it on a few days after (I had it altered,) I am happy with the way it fits. I recommend this place for people who want a nice suit with a large budget.

Well I had just dropped in to have a look the gentleman offered me his business card and I will be making a trip back there to purchase several suits from him. He was able to clearly explain the current suiting trends and showed me an array of haberdashery to go with said suits such as pocket squares cufflinks range of shirts and options available to me. Overall I would say next to being a bespoke shop they offered great service at a reasonable price I'll definitely be back

I used Moores for the suit rentals for my wedding. the suits themselves were fine enough quality but the service was of poor quality along with the companies polices for this provinces as I will explain further down and this store is unorganized. When me any my groomsmen were fitted I got a hint of inexperience, as the person sizing us was unsure of a lot of things and didn't know how the computer systems worked. I figured he could have been new. That was fair enough as long as everything was done right I didn't care, after all everyone was new at a job at some point. As time went on though my grooms men were having a really hard time as every time they went into the store for fittings (some of us went at different times or different locations) they were never able to find my account for the wedding and this would always result in me having to make multiple calls trying to clear up their mistake. Turns out they ended up making 2 accounts for me and they kept mixing them up. The time finally came when the suits should have been in. I called the store and they informed me the suits were not in and the company policy said they didn't have to have the suits till the Thursday. This was different from when I was fitted as they said they would be in a week or so before the event. They informed me that if there was any issues they could over night a suit and have it in on Friday before shippers shutdown for the weekend. I asked if this was guaranteed as everyone in Newfoundland knows that shipping can be delayed here. The sales associate told me the shipper in the past had shorted them deliveries. At this point I wasn't confident in them being able to deliver what I needed but I didn't have any options. They took my phone number at said they would call and email as soon as the suits came in. On Thursday the suits did arrive but I was never informed via phone or email. It was only when I called that I was notified. When my Groomsmen and I arrived my Best mans suit jacket didn't fit. They put an order in to have one shipped over night. God love my Best man as he made changes to his Friday plans and hounded them to try and get this mess sorted. Sadly this amounted to nothing as the next day no suit coat arrived and the only thing they could do is take the jacket that was too big and take in the button. Moral of this story is if you are planning a wedding do not rent your suits from Moores. Its way to much worry and head ache that is way to close to your biggest day! The sales associates are friendly enough but they are unorganized and incompetent.

I love shopping here for clothes. While they have mostly suits and dress clothes, they also have a good selection of dress casual attire. The staff here have been very helpful in the past. Make sure to sign up for their rewards program as I have found it extremely useful!

Forgot items in my rental, and then when I did get it, we were charged extra when they did arrive and the shoes didn't even fit. Hours listed on multiple websites (Google included) do not match the hours on the door at the location. As I live a couple hours away this was a major pain as I couldn't drop it off even though I arrived when they were supposed to be open. Luckily I was able to find someone to drop it off for me so I didn't have to pay a late charge. I would buy a suit somewhere else next time instead and wouldn't recommend using their rentals for any special events. The entire wedding party had issues with Moore's (other locations as well) which just added stress to the wedding day. It pains me as the staff honestly seemed very excited to help and very friendly. I might go back someday to buy items, but certainly wouldn't ever want to use them for rentals again.

We went to them in January of 2018, about 6 months before the wedding. Rented the suits, they arrived on time, the staff were helpful and communicative. My brother bought his suit from them, it was great Ralph Loren for an amazing price. His pants had to be hemmed, but he had a growing spurt between us buying it in February and him fitting in May, so they managed to hem it without it being noticeable as to how much the lad grew. We also ordered rental suits for my step kids, that fit perfectly, and the kids were extremely proud of their outfits. My dad also purchased his suit for a great price from them. It was a bit busy when he was picking it up but they managed to complete the work as promised.

I've been buying men's clothing from Moores for over 30 years and have never had a complaint. Their website doesn't show prices or all their stock so that you develop a personal relationship with your store. It works fine because you just join their client club, which is corporate and subscribe to their phone messaging. They have so many coupons that the local staff can't keep up with all the discounts until they check. I get a phone message once a week and it's worked great. If I have a question I phone the people I know and get excellent service. The staff are always well trained, know their product, are respectful and enjoy helping you. This location is as enjoyable to deal with as any Moores I've dealt with. They added shoes which I've bought and are better for quality and price than other dedicated Chain Shoe Stores. One pair of excellent top brand name brown casuals ended up being under $100!

Just came in for my husband to get a dress shirt and get my hard to fit son a pair of dress pants and was blown away by the professionalism and understanding of the two gentleman that served us. I never felt like I shouldn't have my 8 year old son in a "men's" store. They are going to hem my son's pants tomorrow (a Friday) for my sister's wedding on Saturday and also leave enough fabric to allow him to grow and still have a great quality pair of dress pants. AMAZING service and we'll we returning in the future for any formal occasions.

Stephen @ Moores Langley is by far the most professional & skilled gentleman I have even had the pleasure of encountering at any mens clothing store, and I have been in many of them on three continents. He truly is a master of his craft. You can walk in to see him in your work clothes and before he's done you can have a complete, matching outfit from shoes, suit and tie to a matching watch, shirt and cologne. All picked with impeccable taste. He literally saved me from a total disaster @ my last company Christmas party. I have just purchased my 3rd suit from him and will continue to do so. i believe he works on weekends. Do yourself a favor and call ahead to make an appointment with him before you show up.

Moore's is the place to shop for dress clothes... they have the best selection of shirts and ties that I've seen and if you hit the store at the right time some of their clearance items are very good... I picked up are $80 silk tie for 19.99... unfortunately earlier this spring they brought in some Paisley shirts which were fantastic and I should have picked up a couple of them... Anyways I highly recommend it

There was a mistake made with the cuff links being gold but they gave us silver ones instead no problem. I know it’s probably tough being the only suit rental place still open during covid but you guys are handling it like champs. Thank you❤️. I just wish that you had navy ties/bow ties to match your navy suits because we had to buy elsewhere but I know that’s a higher up issue.
