The staff lied to me over the phone. I called to confirm an event days in advance, and the girl on the phone confirmed it was a walk-in event. I arrived with two very excited children only to discover i was lied to and I would have needed to sign up for the event. The person at the front desk treated me as if I was lying when I said I had called before. Very disappointed. Their staff needs to provide the correct informarion over the phone. Other than that the store is clean and tidy and well stocked.

Took my grandson here to pick out a toy and ended up spending over an hour there. There is so much to choose from for all ages you need the time to look at everything. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The other cool thing is if you need your purchase gift wrapped it is free. Will be back for sure.

The staff was great, they were helpful and kind and took the time to help my daughter and I look for what my daughter had wanted. It's a very welcoming atmosphere with surprisingly reasonable prices. I was a little nervous about the "smaller style toy store" being over priced and I was pleased to find their prices were the same and some things even cheaper. The selection is phenomenal with plenty of options for all different ages. I would recommend checking this place out, and they even have fun events.

This please is amazing. They have options for girls and boys of all ages. They have options that are educational, gross, tendy, and all super fun. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. They offer complimentary gift wrapping and gift receipts. The gift wrapping is exceptional! There are many options for wrapping paper. The wrap job is excellent and they top it off with ribbon and bows. There is always ample convenient parking. And they have a wide price range for products.

Joke of a company, was gifted a defective and dangerous product. Due to the current closures we could not go in-store. Used their live chat and spoke to Dionne and was told the date had just passed for returns and we'd have to take it back "to see" if it can be replaced. I'm returning a defective product, not one I don't like. With service like that I'll stick with Amazon or Walmart thank you very much! EDIT: Spoke to a member in store once they re-opened and they provided an in-store credit for the item. While this was not the smoothest experience the staff at this location were understanding and easy to deal with.

Bought 2 crafts, listed as age 5+ on the box. Not only were the crafts waaaay too advanced for that age but the materials were super poor quality. The boxes were opened, yes, but when the items supplied can’t be used to create the item bought there is a problem. Wouldn’t even give a store credit. Was excited to support a smaller style shop but won’t be anymore. Better quality crafts at the dollar store, Walmart and Toys R Us for a fraction of the cost. Not sure I’ll even be able to GIVE these away. So disappointing.

I like ur puzzles and how big they are but I'm currently missing a piece to my sons 48 piece tinker bell puzzle. If you find a peice may I have back please I paid for 48 not 47, he wont stop crying. You made a little boy who likes tinker bell sad, please bring me my puzzle piece

Hello, This is one of the best toy stores that I have been to! They have a great variety in products and the staff is very knowledgable and is very attentive to your needs and wants. It can be a bit nerve wracking purchasing the right gift for a child but the staff there made it so easy. I would definitely recommend going there.

We shop here regularly for gifts and our own kids. They have an excellent selection of toys and books for a wide range of ages. Good selection of Lego for a relatively small store, including minifig mystery packs. I love that they wrap (or did before covid), and usually have a couple of excellently priced “purchase with purchase” promos. Staff are friendly, all around great experience at this location.

I go to Mastermind Toys in St. Albert for 3 reasons. 1. I prefer not to drive into Edmonton unless I have to. 2. Mastermind gift wrap at no additional charge. 3. I like to support our local businesses.

Have bored kids? Need to buy a gift for someone? Don't like having too much money in your bank account? Come here and solve your problems. Lego, mechano, books, games, activity toys, nerf guns, more Lego, remote control vehicles, puzzles, science projects, scooters, and also Lego. Just beware that some of the R/C vehicles aren't super durable or long lasting in terms of battery life, so do your research.

Great toy store, excellent staff. You are free to browse and if you need any assistance at all the knowledgeable staff is eager to help. Today I needed a birthday gift and it took the young man who helped me about 30 seconds to lead me to the perfect thing! They even wrapped it for me! They have a large selection of toys for all age groups, books,games and right now (end of April) they have lots of outside and water toys featured.

If they don't have it, and can't get it in time for you, (Christmas) they'll tell you where you might find it. Overall a nice store with very nice selection, however their service leaves much to be desired. This is the second time I've visited the store to buy something that according to their website was in stock - however it wasn't . I've been told it takes several hours for their online system to update. So what's the point of checking to see if something is in stock if it's several hours behind and you carry so little product you'll sell out. Found what I wanted to buy on Amazon and it's coming tomorrow. Sorry Mastermind Toys, but you've lost a sale.

What great service!! Were we greeted with smiling faces when we walked in. Very inviting atmosphere. Once we selected our purchase they gave us complimentary gift wrap and taped the gift receipt on the inside. My daughter and I were able to continue to wander through the store while they wrapped our gift. Then they very politely came to find us to give us our wrapped gift with a bow in it. Very very impressed with the store and staff. They will continue to get my business in the future.
