This place has so much perfume and cologne it gives me a headache and causes my asthma to flare up. Impossible to find a sales associate and line ups are so long. I rarely go near The Bay but had to after Christmas and it's worse than I remember from 8 years ago.

The mall overall is tired and needs some better stores but I suppose it's all about the rides. Can't wait for those to reopen!!!

I don't normally shop here, but I earned $75 in store credit through Samsung Pay promotions 3x $25 egift cards. Funny thing is their terminals are probably so outdated they don't even do tap & pay. Lol. I found it a bit difficult to find any deals & anything I wanted to spend my credit on, ended up overpaying for a few items, but it was basically free, so who cares.

Its kinda crazy how they needed buy outs before and if you go an look most of the stuff they are selling can be found other places cheaper found an l sectional that was nearly 9 grand... go to leons or anywhere else its not like its the only place that sells it also why is every thing so outrageously priced and staff are so difficult to find now(covid) and in this season that I've seen multiple people walk out after not being able to find help.

In store it’s kind of a confusing store, the tils are all spread out the store and not at the entrance and exits as you would typically see. Staff are hard to find if you need help Online - I ordered off a wedding registry and they shipped it to the recipients !! Even after I selected ship to same as billing address ie me I’ve called them and they have pretty good customer service , tried to fix things.

Consider this Bay a walk in history with a modern feel. Items are typically high-end. Tons of Bay blankets, wool jackets, Bay socks, and other high quality, recently manufactured items you would have expected out of a Bay in 1950. True, the selection is limited. However, the feel is still of a Bay that intends to provide service and quality instead of just a convenient place to buy clothing.

This location is run down, the bathrooms are original from when the mall was built, less and less product to choose from, no customer service at all, total waste of time even going to the store these days as most likely whatever you are looking for you will not find. The online ordering is poor and it takes forever to get your items. It is also extremely difficult to contact anyone at the store. Very sad to see this location has gone downhill.

I went to the Bay today in search of a dress. Clothing was disorganized and cluttered, but I battled through the sections. Prices are hit or miss (mostly miss), but if you have the patience and the time, you can find some deals. I passed a few employees who greeted my smile with a blank stare and a grimace at best. The real clincher of my low rating was the fitting rooms and the employee working in there. The lady saw me, but ignored me and when I finally got her to let me into a room (5-8 minutes later), there was no smile, greeting or small talk other than to tell me I "better" return the number and clothing. The room itself was overwhelmingly small and stuffy (I'm a petite person, so this is saying something). There is a mirror but it's angled in such a way that you can barely see yourself and there's a chair in front of it creating even . Upon leaving I made sure to return the number and dresses... but had to wait again to dispose of these as she wouldn't let me put them on the rack, but also wouldn't take them from me. Again, no form of customer service / smiles/ etc. I'd been told by multiple people that the service here had gone drastically downhill, but nothing prepared me for what I experienced today. Rude all the way around.

BE CAREFUL ORDERING ONLINE!!! All the items in my order were sold out and The Bay canceled my order but still charged my credit card. Even after calling customer service to have it rectified they have told me that they need more time due to an error on their end. This is happening to many people!

More often than not I leave here frustrated...why I continue to give it a chance is questionable... Was approached by staff member asking if we needed help, we said yes, she directed us to another department to have the item we wanted ordered, as they were out of stock in the color we wanted. We waited in line for 15 minutes or so, when it was our turn the guy working told us he was unable to order it for us. I told him that makes no sense, I was able to order it from home, but chose to come in to see if I could get it same day. He told us that the system wouldn't allow him to pick a different color. I think he just didn't know how. This wouldn't be all that bothersome if we hadn't literally been brought over to this cash desk for this very purpose by another employee who said it was absolutely possible. We've had many things ordered for us, clothing, perfume, small appliances...why this wasn't possible this occasion was odd...so we went home and ordered it....from another company.

Was able to get in and out in 5 minutes. I hate shopping malls and only do it if it's the easiest option, like when something you "need", like luggage, breaks and you're 3 blocks from one. The Bay has suffered from the general malaise that affects all retailers in the twenty-first century. Affluent shoppers have more choices and are shining not attracted to the same retailers as their parents were, while less affluent shoppers are flowing to the mega - retailers in the suburbs. The Bay, squeezed at both ends, has more and more empty space and increasingly frequent sales for smaller pools of merchandise. Sales people are hard to find and less helpful than ever. There is still good quality merchandise to be had, but worth each trip it seems like the end is a little closer.

The staff is difficult to track down, and somewhat rude, the change rooms are dirty and aside from the shoe department, the displays are either empty or messy. I had an unpleasant experience trying to leave the store at closing as well, I went to three different doors attempting to get to the parkade. Each time I got to an exit I was redirected by the staff to another door. I finally was able to leave, but was not able to get to the parkade and had to get to my car via the hotel across the street. That's not a great way to treat your customers in my opinion.

I’ve been buying cologne here for nearly two decades. The staff at the cosmetics counter have always been consistently courteous and well-informed. Their product selection is unmatched in Canada. I've always come to The Bay for my clothing and cologne but after dealing with Kim in the fragrance department Ive now decided to spend my money elsewhere. I found her to be extremely rude and disparaging when I asked for help finding colognes with certain base notes I prefer in a fragrance. Not only was she insulting my choice of notes it came to a point where she scoffed at me so I just decided to leave and spend my money elsewhere. Its unfortunate I didn't have the opportunity to work with one of the other ladies as I'm sure they surpass Kim when it comes to customer service. On another note I very much appreciated the managers service (I can't remember his name off hand). He was more than happy to pull the last Levis jacket off of the mannequin for me when I called in to see if they had any in my size, it was waiting at the counter for me when I swung in. I gave it a 2 star because the manager was kind and more than happy to help me out by pulling the jacket down and having it ready to go for me when I got there.

As a loyal customer, I had very disappointed experience today. The cashier at Maple View Bay 1st floor, two women who kept telling me can not return the trouser that I bought last week on black Friday, because it was wore by my husband just once unfortunately the size was not ideal. Actually, I was fine if it was not able to be retuned, however, the woman said to me "we will lose money if it returned" made me suddenly frustrated, because I wouldn't care too much about losing $28 from keeping an unfit trouser, why this unbelievable service only worried about money, not about customer experience.

I visited this Hudson Bay store because I purchased a suit on sale which was the wrong size but I got such a good deal that I purchased the suit anyways. Thanks to the Hudson Bay's price adjustment policy, which allows you to exchange an item at any store within seven days of purchase at the sale price, I was able to find the right size and exchange my suit even after the sale was over.

I did score a discounted Soda Stream for a staff Xmas gift, but most other small appliances seemed over-priced in contrast to competitors like Best Buy or London Drugs. Extremely disappointed with my customer service experience with the Bay. As a customer who has been an avid shopper at the Bay , I will now refrain from shopping at your store in the future. In short, I ordered all my gifts online at the Bay well before Christmas. When my package arrived it was missing an item. No problem, it happens. When I called the hotline number provided to state an Item was missing, the representative reassured me that it was on its way. Flash forward 2 weeks later and my missing item still not delivered. Called for the second time, the representative informed me that item was out of stock and they had to order it from a different location. Ok no problem, it happens. This representative reassured me this package would come in time for Christmas. Flash forward a week, still no package. I called back for a third time to have the representative say that if I wanted my item in time for Christmas that I would have to drive to Toronto to pick it up? I live in Niagara. Now I have to scramble to purchase a gift 2 days before Christmas. Representative while apologetic did not offer any solution to make it right. Extremely disappointed.

I have had mostly positive experiences shopping with The Bay in terms of quality, and when they have a sale, it's real. I am rooting for the company to stay in business. There is something really wrong with their website, it's consistently slow to load pages, and managing my cart is a nightmare. It takes a long time to delete anything. It is 2021, why is the website so archaic? I also agree with someone else who posted, paying $8 per individual online purchase is unreasonable compared to other competitors.

Purchased a Natuzzi sofa in St. Catherine's. The salesperson was wonderful! However, when the sofa was delivered it had a defect in the leather on one of the seats. (Hard lump). I called the Customer Service number which takes you to the Philippines. All that I could hear during my first call was chickens and roosters in the background. I then was asked to send photos of the couch. I did everything I was asked. Then we had a call saying it was approved for return. We then waited for a call for our new delivery of the return. Never got the call. Then I had to call numerous times after that. Several calls were disconnected due to bad phone lines. Always in the Philippines. The latest now is that a Natuzzi rep will come to our house and I have to give them more information. The couch was purchased on August 1st and it is now September 14th. Still not resolved. There is no contact number in Canada to talk to Customer Service. They will not transfer you to a Manager either. Very disappointed and will never by a large purchase from Hudson Bay again.

The bays adult clothing line tends to lean in to a more mature selection. Their prices are a bit higher then most for even the simplest things. I would shop here for my mother rather then for me or my husband/kids

Being inside the Pen Center shopping mall makes it a convenient location. It is a fair size store with multiple storeys. You can find clothing, perfumes, jewelry and accessories, home appliances, souvenirs and bedding supplies.

It's a small location for a Hudson Bay store but it has good service and employees. The store selection is mediocre. There is plenty of parking. Great environment and friendly demographic.

This classic brick and mortar is not doing itself any favors by not maintaining their space or ensuring staff levels meet customer requirements. With disorganized showrooms it is difficult to transit through the store while ensuring sightlines are open.

Very dirty and disorganized. Staff not friendly at all. You can tell that they are short on staff and don't want to be there. I ended up leaving my stuff and the store because of how rud the cashier was in the womans section. Even my boyfriend commented on the rudness

I have to say the men's clothing styles at this store are lame. It took me 45 minutes to find a sweater I would actually wear. Why so many v-necks??? There's a complete lack of flair in the styles presented. Odd brand names and strange colors and way too much plaid. The other thing that was weird was that they were selling NASA t-shirts. SpaceX is where it's at. NASA hasn't been cool for decades. Yawn.
