You will be able to see the reviews of real people who bought the products and services of Edmonton SouthPark Goodwill Thrift Store & Donation Centre (Costumes) around Alberta territory (Canada).
Right now this business has a score of 4 stars over 5 and that rating has been calculated on 127 reviews.
As you can read, the average of ratings that it reaches is good, and it's founded on a very large number of opinions, so we can think that the assessment is quite faithful. If many people have bothered to rate when they are happy, is that it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to give feddbacks when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Costumes belongs to the category of Second hand store.
Subpar service when you are dropping off. Grumpy staff
Very bad customer service. Some store employees are not trained as cashiers. Assistant manager unapologetic attitude.
Great experience every time! Everything is for the most part nicely organized and clean and the staff are so helpful and kind. Just went a couple days ago and Lee-Ann, the lady checking out my items, was sure to carefully wrap every single clayware I was purchasing while having a nice convo with me! Didn't try rushing at all or make the task seem strenuous. Really brightened my day <3
I love Goodwill because they have so much stuff, but you have to be willing to look for it. The staff and everyone is always friendly. My only complaint is that nothing is really organised so it can be hard to look through things and find what you need.
Great place with lot of good quality clothing and shoes for great prices.
One of the best Goodwills in town. They have everything.
It's really nice place clean and good stuff.
Do not follow Covid procedures.
Always a good day to look for that one thing you didn't know you needed until you saw it on the shelf at the Goodwill store. ????
This is a pretty disorganized store, cleaner than most thrift stores I've been to but I did find bugs in multiple cups/vases, and when I was trying on some items of clothing they smelled like they were not even washed before hand.
Is a good place to stay for me and also a good business center ????????❤
Love Goodwill! They never disappoint and the staff are always warm welcoming and helpful.
The store is nicely organized and good prices. I didn't find anything this trip but there will be future trips there.
Well laid out, better prices than Value Village
I visited this place many times. It is a place with moderate space. And diversity of goods is good. But one thing is notable, it seems that stuffs in there are not sanitized. Indeed, some goods are more expensive than real???? The only place to check my stuff، if I had anything extra، was here.
The staff they have there are very rude now, and they have started bumping their prices up like Value Village does. So that pretty much nixes them as a thrift store. I would rather support local thrift stores instead.
Awful, insane prices for used clothing. Valluevillage is way better
Decent organization, friendly staff, OK prices.
Love shopping here slightly cheaper than Value Village
Lots of clothes and kitchen dishes and electronics at this Thrift Shop. Prices are OK and location is busy
À Place where anyone can buy ussd clothes and fournitures and some useful old stuffs.
Very extensive, don't recommen. Go buy new staff if would be better. Just they take donations and resell for high prices.
Seriously the best goodwill in the city. Fast turn over of stuff, so there is always something new to find. Great staff and great prices. Has a 50% off colour tag deal on every week.
Decent selection. Decent prices. Decent thrift shop.
It's ok, lots of stock but they think they're selling these clothes in a mall. Verrry expensive for a second hand store!
Huge store, nice and clean, and friendly staff!
LOVED this goodwill! Hadn't checked it out until today since it popped up. It's so big and spacious and put together so well. The displays are well done, it's clean and it doesn't feel like a grungey thrift store. Great finds too, awesome selection of quality thrifts!!! Name brands and erry'thang. Totes recommend ????
We are always happy to recycle goods to a charity.
Super helpful staff and I always find treasures here.
Very clean, very large store, great selection!
????
It is a thrift store for buying used items and I find some items are only 10 dollars cheaper then buying them brand new I am not paying close to store value for something I know nothing about. I find it happens way to often with items here. It is used and I have zero history of the item and won't pay high prices for it.
I love shopping at goodwill, even though they don't do much for the community. It's too bad, people don't give to Sally ann anymore. The staff here are five stars, the company is one, so they get a three.
Lotta good finds here.
Prices r high but have alot of stuff
Great location with awesome selection. Staff are always friendly and helpful.
It was nice but I felt like this woman kept following me around the store!
So much to check out here. I love the selection of books.
I used to love shopping for jewlery at goodwill but it is no longer fun because the prices have skyrocketed. Value Village is much more reasonable right now.
For a place that gets donated items is really ridiculous on pricing their items. It's not supposed to be an arm and a leg to get a pair of Jean's or anything in that matter.
Expensive for a Thrift shop. Lots of selection though.
Very good and respectful staff. Fair pricing. Easy returns. Better location!
Very nice staff, well maintained facility and tons of dress clothes. Missing a men's shoe section though.
Over the years this place is getting more and more expensive. One time, I saw a book priced more than the original cost. Come on guys :(
I like Buying second had clothes but since they change the location to this one is not the same anymore!!!! I love it before now I don’t go as often as before but love the prices at goodwill!!!
Awesome new location, bright, more deals, great finds.
Everything was clearly placed and staff was amazing. And billing person was also fast and place was also great.
Very nice place ????. They have almost everything and with excellent quality
Decent selection and price.
Very big, neat and organized. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Reasonable pricing on clothes n utencils. Very friendly n helpfull staff. U can somtimes find souvenirs here with very good price. Furniture is affordable.
I like it because it is larger & there seems to be more things now. What I don't like about it is that everything is very out of order. I don't know if its maybe new staff their dealing with or if it's not of importance anymore but it is a little frustrating sometimed
Very organized. Lots of things to chose from. However this one fellow staff kept staring and made me very uncomfortable.
Definitely disorganized. I mean thrift stores usually are, but this one seems exceptionally disorganized. It seemed to me that clothes were hardly sorted out and the non clothing items absolutely not sorted out. Probably some good finds in here if you spend your time, but it frankly wasn't worth mine.
Very disorganized and dirty. They would sell a lot more if people could actually find their size.
I love this store, it's clean and organized and I prefer to shop here over other locations but many of the staff were rude and short with me.
Great place for random items and once amd a while you can find some gems
Goodwill is a good place to find books, flower vases etc. This new location is bigger and parking is not a problem.
Love this store a bit pricey on somethings but still cheap. Well organized and friendly staff Stay safe ????
Saved my life with back to school shopping. Nice clothes, a lot are new, for 50% off their Goodwill prices.
Store was very disorganized and dirty. Overcrowded and overpriced. So much for Goodwill being a charity outfit.
First time in a Goodwill store in a very long time and not a positive experience. Most of the prices were comparable to new. The store was junky, a mesh mash of stuff. Poorly organized. Items were visibly dirty. Did not find anything to buy.
I was SUPER impressed with how clean & organized this store was & pleasantly surprised to have been purchasing blue ticket items that were half off that day! I got a canner that's $39.99 @ CT for $4.25! Bring on gardening/ canning season!
Not very organized or tidy but great prices and selection
High prices but a hidden gem once in a while
Pretty decent selection of recent books, games and household items. Wish they would take time to investigate their items. Came across two sugar bowls with sugar still in them and a bathroom container with melted Barth beads. Very friendly staff who clearly care about their jobs and holding up good standard of service.
The prices are getting ridiculous.. I found a clock without a price today... when it was returned to me the $3 clock brand new at the dollar store had a price tag of $2.50.. The prices throughout this store have escalated beyond value village ... not pleased any longer... argh!
Amazing variety & quality. Also there's a great sale going on!
I love Goodwill! If you like to be happy about your purchases, shop here. Redecorating, furnish a rental property or for a magnificent find, This is the place.
Surprising selection and better prices
Its okay, not as good as value village price wise or variety wise
The best goodwill that I went until now. fair prices and organized but in some isles there is a little mess which is ok, anyway. and also always busy and full of people, and changing rooms have cue, if you are in mood just decide to go otherwise it may make you anxious.
Their children's clothes are a jumble together, but the prices are good. 5-14: $2.50 each/ 6 items for $10, and 14 items for $20.
Very organized and lots of selection I found an amazing bright pink suit jacket and skirt combo for an amazing price.
Pretty messy place, things don't seem put away with care, and I haven't had many great finds there.
Kind of small but friendly staff
Loved the size of the store, very clean. And the prices where not outrages like some of the other locations.
Heavily picked over charity store in a high-profile location. Pricing seems to be high for donated items.
Promos and good prices also vintage items.
I found a whole outfit for 23$ doll hairs
Love goodwill but the layout is confusing and changes often. Prices went up but they always have different coloured tags and 1 will be 50 percent off each day.
Good
Good parking space, store is wide. However the children section is bad. The dont have it organized like Value Village. They have it from 0 to size 4 all in one rack. Unlike VV where you have it all organized by months.
Net well organized. Not clean Parking lot is too narrow
This place is very nice great prices on used clothing.
Not as many deals as there were when they were located on 51 Ave. Update , October 2021 : Deals here are few and far between now. I went to donate a hand ice auger ( working condition ) and the gentleman had no idea what it was so therefore refused to take it. Side note I bought the auger there ( 2019 have since upgraded my ice auger game ) . He proceeded to give me a sheet with the listed acceptable donations and no where on the list did it say hand auger or anything remotely close to what I was donating. I wasn't going to argue my point anymore. I ended up giving it away to someone who was delighted to have it. I also watched an elderly indigenous woman with her 2 grandkids get followed like a hawk by the staff e even though she was just trying to shop and spoil her grandkids. They even grabbed the attention of the house security guard to take over and proceeded to watch her like she was going to rob the store. It was an unreal case of racial profiling and my wife ( AHS social worker) , brought it up with the Manager and the manger pretty much just fluffed it off like it was no big deal. We then realized nothing was going to change so we just went up to the kookum and said sorry you are going through that and she thanked us for our concern . I do not recommend going here because of the culture of their team and management. There are better run locations in the city and it's too bad because Goodwill is a good cause . Thanks for reading our experience here .
I always love shopping here...always new items, and collectibles....
Big store with lots of neat things! Not too crowded and friendly, helpful staff.
Felt very thrifty while I was there. Staff was helpful
Some of the prices are quite high for a thrift store . Dont get me wrong they had a few good deals but you really have to pay attention to the quality of some of the products.
Great selection of clothes.
I love the size and selection at this new location!
Shocked..very clean with great service
Neat and well organized. The staff seem to care about the tidiness which is awesome! There isnt alot of furniture though but the stuff that Is the is fairly priced
I like this place not because it got more things but it got better things
Excellent selection, organization, and fun.
Best big name thrift shop location in yeg
The prices are getting silly. A little pricey for donated clothing.
Friendly staff, easy to find help at all times!
Way too expensive for second hand. Very surprised.
You can always find something you never knew you needed. Great place for decor items, vases, pictures and mirrors. Also a wonderful spot to bring in any of your extras, things that are no longer being used, and stuff that has been out grown.
Similar to value village, but a better selection. I bought a basketball, and a box set of extended Lord of the rings for $24. They also sell used books, clothes and appliances.
Lots of neat things here ????
Good place to buy your needs with a very low price
The workers who take the donations are usually very helpful and pleasant.
Very messy and all over the place!
I found this place is very useful for anyone looking for used clothes and household items in good quality. Not only used materials, they also have some brand new products with original tags. If you have time you always get deals here.
Cheap prices ... most of unused items. And they have return and replace policy.
Big! Lots of choice! The organize by color not size so that makes it hard to shop.
Pricing is fair, selection is deep, and the store is clean and well maintained. Staff are plentiful - and the Goodwill mission to provide employment and services to Albertan's with disabilities certainly doesn't go unnoticed. This revamp of a retail outlet store is a great use of the space, and a fantastic operation to replace the aging 51ave location.
Good selection well laid out and hekpful staff
Nice new goodwill, big location, good selection and great prices
Not my favorite goodwill but a decent one. They have a small furniture section that sometimes has good finds.
We thought it was over priced
Cleaned, friendly staff, short lines. A good selection when I went in too. Seems like I always walk out of here with something.
Terrible, the price is ridiculous for used items, disorganized, toys, or others that landed on the floor items on floor a person had to trample over them, where are the employees that could have kept up the pace to keep the store tidier for customers.
Great value, friendly staff
You can find excelent quality sport gear for your kid and it will be very cheap. Got hockey pants, top quality elbow pads, skates for almost free. Also brand new inline skates and rollerblade protection gear.
Items available are nice and affordable...
Lot of good used stuff Very good place to shop with lots of varieties
Security guard look funny hiding behind clothes he was hiding from cameras
Great place with tons of good deals
It's close to my house and it is cheap
One of the best goodwill locations in the city! Well laid out, easy to find things, and a different sale each week! I wish there was a return policy if things don't fit you, especially since we cannot use the changerooms right now. But otherwise I love it here!
Can't try on clothes during pandemic, understandable...but no return policy. Sad! Edit: there is a return policy now! Thanks Goodwill!
Green tags 50% off!
It's a decent enough place. Clean, nice staff. Prices a bit high.
Good selection with new stuff all the time
It was great
Always find great buys there
Marked Sizes on most clothing items I tried were 3 sizes larger than they actually were. Staff was friendly and helpful.
You can never tell what they will have! Super fun to walk around and explore. Always worth a look. Good luck and have fun. They support the community and the place is tidy. Be kind and help them keep the place organized!
Excellent store lots of variety
Just walking into that Goodwill location for the first time yesterday it looked like a department store 3 beautiful color coordinated glass displays when walking in then the beautiful dress other things displayed I was very impressed I even talked to the manager and said how nice it looked it was far from what you walk into at a value village I give 5 stars to the work being done there
Nice, clean, and well organized.
I got nice stuff from there, sometimes they can be a bit dirty with food particles but for the most part cheap and good.
The place is lovely and the staff who care about consumers and their coordination of things are all in its proper place and reasonably priced
Large clean organised. Great selection and I really enjoy their "boutique" section
The staff are polite and helpful... They have a great selection of quality clothing for everyone.
Nice ...
Great
Great deal on clothing, I got this full suit outfit for a measly 40 bucks. Can't go wrong with a steal of a deal like that.
The staff are always quick to help when you drop things off at the donation area. The store is very large and offers a huge variety of items to buy. I'm finding the prices are slowly creeping up, however.
Big store, lots of stuff! A little expensive tho.. I find most the bigger corporate thrift store are tho.
Exceptional selection of frames and knickknacks! Reasonable prices. Lots of books and toys. Designer section of clothing up by the front. Always enjoy browsing around here :)
A great place to find hidden treasures.
I work at a pawn shop so I buy things with money and re sell them. I price and sell things cheaper then a goodwill store that gets everything for free. Furniture over priced. Broken kids toys are over priced. DVDs they sell for 3.50 I sell them for 1 dollar. Box sets they ask $12, I sell them for $3. Please anyone who shops here dont get to hyped thinking your saving money. This place is a rip off. Pure profit. Prices need to change. This has to be somehow illegal.
Is pretty big so there's a lot to go through, clean and organized. There were a lot of staff but they kept to themselves, the only time I was greeted was when I left.
Always worth the trip to try an find what you may need
Really great finds if you dig. Avoid busy times; Sunday afternoon. Business and small aisles makes things less enjoyable. Also wish the items behind the cash were more visible without standing in line. Great personable staff! Willing to take the trip from Sherwood park just for this treasure!
Asked to leave cause they didn't like how i was shopping?
Really good prices and very friendly staff.
Love this place, all kinds of worthy treasures. Prices are listed, want to find out if they are open to offers.
Shopping here is so neat cuz you can usually find some cool things, especially if you're a geocacher & you're looking g for (SC) aka Special caches.
Small store but has a few good finds. It's good if you want a fast thifting trip.
The location was awesome. If i talk about the availability we can all the stuff we want or need. The were lot of varieties of clothes available here. The staff was nice and genuine and the pricing was also reasonable.
I love the idea of thrift stores but the hipe of them has really gone to the retailers head. Everything is WAY OVER PRICED (I thought vaule village was bad). Very disorganized! I was looking for kids shorts, could not find them. There is no way that 4 items should cost someone $45... second hand! When you donate your stuff to them for FREE , you would think that that savings would trickle-down to the consumer. That's why you buy second hand. For a savings. Honestly, know your prices of brands. 9x out of 10 you can get them for them brand new for the same or less. Very sad. I gave two stars because the staff was really nice :)
Good selection and well organised. They have good prices and sales.
I donate regularly and feel good about it, I love how they turn donations into good for sale, and how they actually give some of the merchandise directly to the needy. Seriously consider bagging your unwanted gifts and your oops late night purchases and donating them to your nearest goodwill location. I also try to give them some business when I can; great place to go when you’re looking to put together a Halloween costume! I found everything I needed for my last year’s fire fighter costume, plus they sell new costume accessories around Halloween season so it becomes a one-stop shop!
staff great building is old and needs air conditioning and major upgrades before i would go back there darkly lit and dank
Good staff and a great place for gently used items. From toys to home decor, they have it all.
Can get great deal and amazing sales....
I stumbled upon this beautiful new location today by chance, and I was so thrilled! Everything is very clean and organized - I know I'll be frequenting this location quite often.
Impressive new Goodwill store. Great shopping experience
Awesome location. This place is gigantic and they have whatever you’re looking for. There is an abundant selection of clothes, furniture, books, collectibles, and miscellaneous household goods. The housewares section can be a little bit cramped since it’s in a smaller area but overall it’s a great location. It’s difficult to get someone’s attention if you want to look at something in the showcase so be prepared to wait around 4 minutes to grab someone’s attention. That’s the only issue I’ve ever had with this place. Overall quick and efficient staff. I’ve found many awesome finds here.
A bit expensive for second hand. Staff didn't offer to help. Nice store.
Nice place with small amount of housewares, but 85% of all the whole store is adult female clothing, not great if your looking for kids clothes really really small section. Prices aren't half bad.
This Goodwill location is massive! Lots of room and was fairly clean and organized! Definitely one of the better ones!
Very clean store ... Helpful staff ... Good prices ... I got what I wanted
This isn’t based on the staff at all. As an often visitor to goodwill - since the beginning of covid I have noticed a major MAJOR hike in prices. Items I’ve seen there before up to 3x more than previously similar things being sold. It’s hard to have goodwill when it seems they are just out for a buck. I understand prices change etc but during a pandemic? To this extent? It’s definitely not an affordable option with prices mirroring new. I ask that management have a look into it. Thanks.
Great store super clean well organized as the staff are super friendly. Great selection of items.
Pretty average as second-hand shops go. It looks clean now, I hope they can prevent that used clothes smell from seeping into everything. Was a little disappointed that they didn't have a VHS section, but I guess people aren't really donating them as much anymore.
Sure wish they had this store in BC. One of my fave thrift stores for bargains.
It seems like their merchandise and the store are well-maintained.
A great place for clothing finds. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Prices very reasonable, friendly people
Love love love going here. Very clean and well organized. The staff are very friendly and helpful
Good selection, but the prices are way-way too high. Most items appear to be at least half as much as brand new - even those items that are in poor condition. An example? A well-used electric water kettle costs $20, but a brand new one like it costs $39.99 at Canadian Tire ($29.99 on sale.) Electronics are even worse: They're near or at full price of new. E.g., a computer keyboard here costs $15! Unbelievable. While Goodwill Industries has a good record of sharing profits with charity, perhaps they could increase that by reducing their CEO's $729,000 annual salary.
Finding things that have supposedly gone out of style is just my style. Thanks for your donations people. I donated a lot in my time. Now I need to use this store. Goodness all around.
I was met at the front door from a worker with a bin on wheels. Awesome!
I used to love coming here. The shoes and clothes are getting a little nedlessly expensive. If I wanted to pay 15-20 dollars for shoes, i might aswell buy brand new. Otherwise I still like coming here fir finds, just not for footwear
It's my first time going there and since I dont have much time I just stroll around a bit but I gues it's a good to store to shop because i saw the prices are low and there's alot of stuff to choose from.
Love when they pick a colour for 50% day
Everything too expensive. People gave you free. You sell too much expensive
Clean and well organized. Friendly helpful staff.
clean store, lots of stock. good selection. Staff is very helpful.
I find the prices high for a thrift store....didn't buy anything....????
Really nice stuff there can't believe some of the treasures I've found there.
Always something good to find. Great place to browse and spend money on original items.
Friendly staff and very clean and organized
Lots of stuff big more $ than I would like
Huge variety of merchandise but a little mire expensive than I thought. Overall great thrift store.
Went in today. Was looking for some men's clothes. I found that the racks are way too pilled up together. I mean I can hardly pass my hand to see the shirts. They are all packed up as tight as a pack of cards. I mean if they can't sell it... why not put the prices down. It has been donated. Why should we pay more for a nike shirt compared to a another? The rich gets richer and the poor gets poorer. I guess.
Great store, friendly staff. Love to find treasures
Pretty tidy for a secondhand store, and I was really impressed with how the staff dealt with a difficult customer
Nice and spacious with a new look and pleasant.
Not a lot selection for men's wear, good for women's tho
Surprisingly friendly. Amazing service, even new merchandise available, pricing right on the mark for the many of us on limited incomes. And you will find some little treasures if you spend the time in the homeware section too! Have a visit, it's worth exploring ???? LCA
It's a good thrift store. OK prices. The parking is awful though. The stalls are poorly placed and always full. The stalls are marked with spray painted lines that are too close to actually fit a vehicle in.
Very clean and organized. Tons of stock, I could spend hours looking through things.
While I shop here, I find it frustrating that prices are often out of touch with what the original price was or the value as a used product. I won't pay 3 and a half dollars for a used coffee mug when a new one is a buck accross the road at dollarama or 2 bucks at walmart near by.
Everything is overpriced and books are unorganized. Won't recommend
Clean, organized store. Well labelled. Employees available, would like to see employees be a bit friendlier.
Clean store, we'll organized good prices
Love thrift shopping. The last location they moved from was better though!
Always a joy to shop here. Kind staff...great stuff.
Cleaner than value village, not as big of a selection
I think it would be fair to give the consumer more than 7 days to return clothes that don't fit. You have the store open, may as well open the fitting rooms. I never would have bought the $30 dress had I been able to try it on. I leave for vacation soon but must instead try to shop again there within 7 days to make my exchange! Feels like they're trying to just get money. It would be fair to allow consumer 14 days -or even 30 - to return for exchange. What difference would that make? Besides making the consumer happy? Not impressed.
Overall the new location is bigger, better and busier than ever..I had a small issue where I purchased a handful of items only to leave my gloves on the counter, which was set aside by the cashier and when I returned next day to speak with the same cashier; her colleague had placed my gloves elsewhere likely to be donated. As a result no resolution was ever offered for my gloves. This place; despite new, needs to be better organized..sizing in menswear is all over the place. Aside from that; it is the best thrift store in the city not because of staff or organization but because south-side folks actually donate good stuff.
One ofthe largest goodwills i know of. Fantastic selection
Always fun to find unique items. Lots to see.
Every thing is just put on a rack or shelf no organization
Thankyou for supporting Edmonton
Pricing has gotten to high almost paying new retail. They need to hire more Albertans with disabilities in store area.
Amazing finds, prices could be little lower though but still ok.
I guess it depends on what you are looking for...they have a variety of stuff but it was clean.
Lots of great stuff! Very nice staff!
Great selection, fairly easy to find stuff but you need a good hour or more to search through all the goodies!
Seriously overpriced for a place that has everything donated to them.
I understand that there are overhead costs but the prices is taking the fun out of trying to find your gem.
Didn't get what we were looking for which was portable bedside lamp, but they had quite a handful of lovely lamps, decors, small home appliances, I did check out their clothing and shoes section, quite lovely stuffs they've got. Cute long boots and outing shoes for women.
Great varietyand fantastic prices!
This location is spacious, well organized and clean. The prices for the clothing are moderately high for a thrift store. But their kids clothing is priced perfectly for sizes 0-4x. They do have a great book area. Their home furniture area is small. Fitting rooms are well kept, had wonderful lady in charge of it. Wish the rest of the other staff were more friendly. They cashiers were grumpy and unfriendly.
You can always find something you need.
Now this location has been open a year I feel Goodwill has lost sight of it's customer base. I've noticed more and more pricing has gotten more expensive for, what I'm sure in some pricer's head makes sense. Slapping an $18 dollar price tag on a $2.50 Nerf gun because you have 5 bent darts does not make it worth that much. Or even worse slapping $20 on a Lego game with *ALL* the play pieces missing? Actually look at the item, not just quickly searching eBay for the highest price.
Prices have skyrocketed since they first opened. $30 for a used windbreaker?! Pass, I could probably find something new at Marshall's for that price...
Great selection of items and even better prices.
I have purchased many great items at this location. The staff friendly , hardworking top notch. WARNING !!!! When buying name brand items. I purchased a pair of Oakley sunglasses and failed to do indepth research of their authenticity. When I found out they were fakes and disclosed this to the manager and wanted proof of authenticity or my money back , they wouldn't return my money. I understand all sales final on certain items but I purchased what I thought and they presented , and charged was a brand name. 30 dollars for what appears to be fake knock offs. So BUYER BEWARE ....
I went there today and for the first time I couldn't enter to that location because I was wearing a plastic mask. I can wear it everywhere except here. Stupid policy!!
Good selection
Best prices in the second hand market. I just wish there was more selection
Well organized, good staff, great selection of clothes, books, games, and etc and they VERY often have sales, daily. This is where we donate, usually, and a great place to purchase and recycle kids clothing.
if your looking for pre loved things this is the best place
Why are your prices so high!? You get the stuff for free! Not impressed. I can buy brand new at nearly the same cost.
This place is a joke. They seem to think they are a retail outfit. Prices are crazy.
The place is good, i found that the crew there are a bit cheap on smiles, few of them smiled
Messy and staff unloading the items to house hold area needs to learn customer service
Great prices and a huge store with friendly caring staff.
TAKE YOUR TIME.... thrifting requires time and patience. This store always has a great selection and a sale everyday. This is my first choice to start my thrifting day.
Pretty fancy. I kinda miss their old location on 51 ave but that's nostalgia
Large place with all sorts of treasures. Place is kept clean and staff are friendly and helpful.
I agree the prices for used ( donated) items are way too high - the reason people shop at thrift stores is because they can't afford new items.
Goodwill provides a great service to the community. Great pave to donate gently used products.
Some items are a little overpriced for donated items. I do like the furniture and knick knacks. Clothing is all priced weird as a t-shirt and sweater are priced the exact same
This goodwill is nicely laid, clean and massively stocked. Parking lots busy so take care there.
My first time at this newer location. It seems not bad, I'll definitely go back to check it out again.
Hit and miss as expected with selection, but items are all in good condition with lots of variety
Lots of selection, a little unorganized in the men's clothing but understandable.
If you have wearable clothing and household items, you can drop it off here.
Good collection and great price.
Nice new clean store. Seemed like prices were a bit higher than in the old store, but that may be to cover higher rents?
Huge FAIL! The store is clean. However, the prices are insane! ie: $75 for a fake, plastic Calvin Klein handbag. You can get comparable housewares at the $Dollar Store for less but brand new. Higher prices housewares you'd be better off going to HomeSense! You can buy some comparable clothing items at Winners for less money and brand new! I thought that the goal for a second hand store like Goodwill would be to, turnover goods, to get them out to people who can't afford them etc. Not rob Peter to pay Paul! ????
Found some nice staff that I need in my home
It was a good place, nice lay out of the store, nice clean used stuff.
I've found a TON of great items here! The sections could be more organized but it's hard to keep it all tidy with everyone shopping like crazy.
Very spacious, better collection, more parking.
This store sucks it’s always expensive and they don’t give you exchanges if the item breaks or the buttons on the pants come loose
I like this store. Clean and they don't seem to gouge like other unmentioned stores.
Old location was much better. There is very little furniture, no bedding and prices are much higher.
I love this place Lots of good bargains
Pretty neat and organized. I really liked the layout of this store.
Beautiful store with tons of merchandise to choose from
Nice new building, not as much in there as I would have thought.
Always wants to visit over and over again because items sold here are quite cheap and still in good shape.
Good deals not like Value VILLAGE
I used to stop in here for good deals but I am no longer interested in giving my money to a company that does not care about its customers or the items they are selling. I have had more than one occasion where the items I have purchased were torn significantly by the tags that were put on them by the Goodwill. As someone who could benefit from the low cost clothing I was purchasing it came as very disappointing that my money was going towards things that were damaged before I got them home. I understand the nature of second hand clothing but when those items arrived in the store they were not damaged. Often even small holes that had been created became a bigger problem when washed. I brought up the tagging issue with an employee one day, politely I may add, in the hopes that they would give it some consideration. I was met with hostility. I find it disappointing that this organization, and especially the employee I spoke with, would not at least hear me out as I was merely trying to express a disappointment I had with the products they were selling.
Excellent place to save money and be gentle on the environment.
Amazing store. Always clean. I find great finds every visit
It's packed and they should have a security guard, done of the customers are rude and mismanaged.
I found a lot of 'next to new' Items at this location, prices were reasonable, staff was kind and helpful.
Love this place, half of my house is goodwill stuff.
Great service in my experiences here. A couple complaints but they're minor details, nothing to worry about. Staff could've turned me away but they helped me with my problem in a timely, professional manner.
Friendly knowledgeable staff
Excellent service. All precautions being taken. Very clean store.
Not allowed to use the change rooms and all clothing sales are final. Very poor policy! Will not return until they change one or both of these policies. On the plus side, the selection was great and the store clean and organized.
Ok
Great place to find some affordable items. Shop here first before buying new!
I would never shop here again. No goodwill to be found. I bought a Xbox game which was extremely overpriced. In comparison to other thrift shops I have found them sold for $0.50. This store sells them for around 10.50 or so. I drove a half an hour away only to find when I handed it to my son and he opened it there was no game inside the box. I drove all the way back to the store and they would not refund me. Extremely disappointed in the customer service. Especially when I was informed by the stuff that they always ask customers to check if it's in there however no one did that for me. I believe in good customer service, so since that courtesy wasn't extended to me I would have appreciated a refund and not just told to choose a different game. The game I had bought was no longer on the shelf. I would have had to choose a different one, which I didn't see one that I wanted. I'm extremely saddened by the fact thrift stores are no longer nice places to shop. Most of them are now overpriced and clearly have bad service because they're just wanting my money.
A great cheap thrift store, a fairly large selection of items and great deals but please remember to bring your own bags
Always clean inside, well lit. Great staff and great selection!
Excellent collection of various things. It is like treasure hunting .
Great selection, good prices, and no sales tax!
This location is great! The staff here are amazing, really helpful, and so nice. And the selection is awesome, i love the tag sales, and the cleanliness of the store, and the bathrooms are immaculate.
Found lots of houseware and clothing treasures here. Not that much furniture, go to their furniture store if that's what your after.
Didn't have what i was looking for but friendly and helpful
Huuuuuge location, for people that like reading this is a great place to get books for really cheap. Check the tag color as everyday they have a different color that is 50% off.
Long wait when the dining room was not full. Ordered a fruit cup that looked like it sat in the fridge for days. Waitress was polite.
Decent selection, but kind of crowded feeling. Plus I always feel a bit grungy after leaving
Employees are doing their part in making sure that everyone is wearing a mask and the staff are super friendly and made me and my daughter feel welcomed when we entered. My daughter asked someone at the front counter some questions and the lady gave some wonderful suggestions and my daughter was feeling better about her decision to purchase a beautiful suede jacket with faux fur lining. This place is clean and well looked after.
Things have gotten so expensive over the last several years. I loved going here for great prices on clothing but you might as well buy new. Its happening at all the thrift stores...
Nice place to shop like value village
Good place to find some great finds at good prices. Lots of choices.
Found an awesome dress
They have good collection of old paintings and picture frames
This is a great Goodwill although not as good for brand name items as the one on Whyte Ave. If you are looking for kitchen supplies or linens this is the one to go to.
Very nice play really good stuff.
Love the Selection! Great layout and friendly staff. Clean and inviting.
I love checking things out here, cheaper than Value village.
Great Serveis :) they do carry out if you ask them to
Told to leave my backpack at the front, even though everyone else in the store had their backpack on. Never been blatantly discriminated against like this in Canada, this isn't the southern us.
Staked Goodwill. Right next door to their corporate office, you can tell it gets a bit extra love compared to other locations.
Best Goodwill! It's huge and very well laid out. I always find some gems here. They have clothes, home items, books, jewelry and more.
Incredibly disorganized and rude staff. Manager is incredibly snarky and unprofessional. I like a good bargain but won’t be back to goodwill. Will be taking my business to the many outlet stores in South Common instead.
I wish I could rate it higher... This store takes advantage of the fact that they spend virtually no money to run their business, t-shirts range from $6.00-$10.00 which is insane since this is all free for the company. Goodwill has even started a "Designer Brand" section where everything is over $20 just because it's Nike, or Levi's, this is disappointing. Choose Value Village for your thrifting needs.
Nice place ,affordable prices and the staff are very helpful.
Great staff except the one tall man who stares at you everywhere you go. That’s makes a customer very uncomfortable.
Clean. Selection is always up there. Staff member named Tyler is so positive, helpful.
Always find something nice to buy
Over priced compared to other second store alot of sim caed
goodwill or good gouge? Prices in games/entertainment have skyrocketed from 4-5 dollars a title to now $14.50 a title, pretty disappointing as i use to enjoy frequenting this store weekly but at these prices ill shop online or stick to value village for now they offer lower prices on these kinds of items Staff are excellent however!
Clean, great staff, inexpensive used clothes.
Everything was soo organized. Bought an ironing board and even received a seniors discount!
Terrible service. Had broken & damaged items in showcase but would not discount. when that was pointed out
I give it a 3 because I actually found a nice picture for a decent price but the store was way overcrowded and they ask way too much money for most things when you can get some things like for example, a nice sundress brand new for cheaper or the same price somewhere else.
I visited goodwill in SouthPark on Sunday with my son and the store was set up nicely. Very organized and easy to find what I was looking for. I received excellent customer service! All the staff was very friendly. I was struggling to carry all my items so the supervisor Dharmik came over and helped me carry what I got. He also explained to me your mission and your proggrame for albertans with disabilities which I think is awesome! I will definitely be back!
I love this store! It's like a treasure hunt everytime I go in! You never know what you are going to find! I have found many good gifts for friends and family.
Best place and staff are kind
Over priced but good selection on lots of stuff.
Prices are good and products are in good conditions.
A very big store and a lot of things to choose from. Lots of staff to help you. Washrooms available.
Great selection of men's dress clothes in a variety of sizes. The staff was helpful and had a person assigned to the change room area for fast service. #thrift
Still fairly new not much in selection yet but very clean, parking is a little tight
Never will step foot in that store again . If you want to continue with the mask bull then my business will go to another store. I'll be sure to shear places not to go because of covid mandates on Facebook..
Good Collection, great staff Some of the products are pricy such as the blenders.Got a minorly broken product so check/test carefully before purchase.
Awful selection and poor store lay out and no customer service. I find your reply very rude. So it's my fault that you have a poor selection... not likely. Goes to show how bad your customer service really is with the comment you made. As for poor store lay out things are just jammed on the shelves and books are all over the place as are clothes.
Good space and modern but disappointed in the lack of selection in furniture, household items and books.
This is a good place to go thrifting.
I was in today and there was a man yelling at staff about the mask mandate, staff handled the situation very professionally ensuring he was not getting near other shoppers and ensuring he left the store. I appreciate the dedication to safety of shoppers. Staff at this location have always been very kind
very big store. think it's new. I had a good shopping experience there.
Very organized, clean, and tidy - great selection.. And, of course, a great way to reduce waste, save money, and give gently used items another life!
I really don't care for the disorganized books.
Not well organized, smelled horrible, and not a lot of room when you're trying to push a cart through. Walked in and right back out.
Lots of stuff but organization is not very good.
very disappointed experience just bought an item worth 15 dollars. after trying its defective electrical returning it was declined due to a little over 7 days requirements. due to my schedule of activities. no considerations. i usually shop to this store. i tried requesting the supervisor and referred me to his manager which echoed the same answer according to the supervisor. although the new manager was not around doing some training. my request is just store credit which no cash out from the store. I notice also prices are becoming expensive yet items are all donations and yes operational cost but it defeats the purpose of MOTTO priciples of non profit and charitable organizations. i loose my appetite of going back to store and buy items spends some hundreds not even recommending to others good bocomes Bad and the will of interest deminish
Very welcoming staff at the entrance with sanitizers for everyone to use. He explained the protocol to be followed and there was social distancing at all times. Great place to visit.
Lots of different things! You shouldn’t complain about quality if you’re at a second hand shop, but almost everything here seems to be in decent condition so there’s not much to say either way. Lots of intimidating alt kids looking for cool clothes? If you want something nice I suggest finding out what days they restock and going in then (I believe it’s tuesdays but I’m probably wrong)
I was here closer to the grand opening and it was great. I went in this time and it was so disorganized and chaotic. They seemed under staffed and overwhelmed.
Hard to believe they got some of the stuff for free, some items are only a little cheaper then new. And they had some items for sale for a couple hundred dollars, and those items they got for free. Makes bargain hunting hard.
Good prices nice clean looking store
Staff was super friendly and helpful. The hooks in the change room need to be fixed. Nothing is organized in the sections, the sizes are everywhere and hard to find.
It's luck of the draw, depending on what you're looking for...
Good stuff for people with little money but is still expensive I bought a vest $7.50 places like this in England are way cheaper in England I could get a vest for $2 Canadian I believe that is 1 pound uk
Lots of things for limited funds great place to get kitchen clothing ad household thing
Good selection of books, and they have a boutique section. Nice clean store.
Just dropped off items at the back of this new location. Stop right at the door. Someone came to help immediately.
Good place tobdo thrift shopping. Prices have increased since they moved to this location. Great helpful and friendly staff
If you are going to be open at least have the washrooms available for shoppers.
It's a big well stocked store but nothing much worth buying the furniture section is way overpriced and there's no bathrooms.
Lots of selections in good price
Great location lots of great deals one of the bigger stores in the Edmonton area lots of deals and selection at this location!
Always have great sales but the clothing section is madness, best advice if your looking for clothes in your size.....is to look thru every size because nothing is where it should be. Huge store tho!
Fairly used items at good price
Staff went above and beyond to help me find something that they didn't have.
Great assortment, great prices- awesome deal
Dropped off some items.
New location and newer building but lacks size and charm of old location.
Love the second hand clothes!!
Thrift stores are suppose to be great deals not retail prices
Great customer service
An acceptable outlet for second hand wares, also doubles as a place to take the items you don't use any more but still have some life left in them.
Great price, lots of good things.be back here
Staff is always super helpful! Almost always some great deals here. My only con about this place is that its usually very very dusty. Otherwise, amazing place if you want to score some good deals.
Plenty of great selection
I can't shop during the hours of 10- 6. Would be great if you could stay open a little later at least one night a week.
Had a lot of great stuff to buy it made it hard to not buy the store. I love shopping at goodwill and I am glad to still be able to shop here.
Store was fairly clean, but some items are very over priced
you can find nice thing in here
Awesome prices.... love the color tag of the day sale...50% off....
Prices are a little higher than they should be, its all the same as Garage sale stuff to me, yet they think its fair to ask what they charge. In some cases, shoes as an example, the prices for new ones at Walmart are cheaper!!! Just saying. ????
Poorly organized, rude cashier who argued and overcharged us on items that they get free. One employee barged into me without so much as an excuse me. ????
We just moved from calgary and i usually buy toys. However i found the pricing high. For example McDonald toys in calgary were 25 cents here 1$ plus. Since im a collector of toys i cant seem to find any good deals here.
Prices are to high 30.00 for a Champuin tshirt that was givin to you, that is just wrong!! I used to give all my stuff to goodwill but won't be anymore after my visit today.
Plenty of parking and great deals. The changerooms have been damaged by customers pulling on the hooks and should be fixed. Their attention to problems with the clothes has been slipping lately, as in items with stains or tears making it to the sales floor.
Poor staff
So expensive for donated items... lots of broken items, missing pieces, dirty items. Way more expensive than even value village. Manager super snarky, needs a personality uplift!
top goodwill in Alberta ... friendly staff and great selection
1 hour is not enough to check everything in store.
I enjoy coming here not just cause of the great deals but also of each time its something different or wished I'd had more money to get this or that...
Clean spot, good finds at a decent price. I fing there competitor VV if you know what I mean is overpriced so it's refreshing to be able to go to goodwill and see some good value with way you're purchasing second hand.
Great store with a good selection.
A good selection of housewares and clothing, and parking is usually plentiful. It loses one star only because the space isn't laid out as well as the previous iteration on 51 Ave - it's a little less intuitive to get around in. Same helpful staff though, so definitely worth the extra drive!
Great staff. Good prices and selection. Large store.
Huge store! Very beautiful for a thrift store. Everything is very neat and clean. Very nice staff, as well!
Don't come here to buy books. Nothing is organized, the books appear to be sorted by the day that they came into the store, so good luck finding anything if you're looking for a specific genre. The kids books are all on the bottom shelves, spread all over the different aisles. I used to enjoy buying books here, but now they categorize children's books as "young adult" if they are not picture books. I bought a book that was the winner of the Newbery medal and they told me that it was a "young adult book" even though the medal is for "children's literature". Very disappointed at how the store is being run.
Poorly managed. Over 30 in the lineup. The manager walks around for 5 minutes before calling for another cashier. Still no extra cashier.
Nice new location. Lots of parking. Daily colour tag 50% off deals on clothing. Some areas are a little messy and you have to be willing to dig, an example would be household goods. Lots of interesting collectables can be a little overwhelming. Have to watch items similar to dollar store as they sometimes are more expensive. On my most recent visits it has been increasingly busy an crowded, but cash line is still quick.
I enjoy Goodwill, but I find that shopping there for clothing can get very frustrating as clothing sizes aren't very organized
Good selection, well laid out store, felt clean.
Spaces are well defined. Variety is good except for some of the clothing
Its decent with different stuff to check out. Did manage to buy a good item very cheap price even though its worth a $100 on ebay
Love this place and all brands are created equal !????????♀️
U have to really spend a lot of time in there to find something good. Not much selection .
Always has a great selection of treasures at reasonable prices
Since the store moved from its old location the layout they've created on the space is confusing. Parking is much better.
Overpriced . I love the floor staff though ! Super friendly & helpful. I went to buy cake pans, found two: one had a decent price with the “tag of the week” and eligible for 50% discount, and the other was missing the tag. I asked the staff for a tag so I can pay for both, however, a manager came out, re-pricing both at a higher amount and on a new tag (no discount). She said that this is the new price and she wouldn’t match the original price. Very frustrating ! That was a few months ago.
Good place for stuff around the apartment.
lots of interesting things to find
Quite large, we like it. We've found plenty of great items.
no star store needs to be audited to check if thrift store real intentions. calling market place and CRA items are expensive and mostly defective.
Got there just b4 closing but wasn't rushed and the staff very friendly. At the till Murry was awsome and very helpful
Great place to find treasures. It’s clean too.
Good big location wish it was slightly more organized though.
Fairly large goodwill. You really have to search through piles of items.
Many items overpriced compared to Value Village. Especially DVDs
Great variety, not bad prices but not great prices.
Normally I adore Goodwill. Their former location had better parking and as it turns out, polite staff. My two visits were the worst experience at Goodwill to date I have ever had. The first time I had to ask 4 staff members if they had any larger sizes of children's clothes. Three of them ignored me outright, after eye contact was made! The lady who did deign to answer me seemed overly hostile for such a simple question. The second visit confirmed that I will never go back. I found a pair of awesome slippers for like $4, yippee right? When I got to the till the cashier informed me that they were $10, "because of the double mark, that means $10 not $4, NONE of our shoes are under $10!" She then proceeded to speak to her colleagues in front of me using a language I do not understand. Her comments were followed by laughter all around. She was rude, unprofessional and refused to give me a receipt as talking to her friends seemed more important. I was made to feel like a thief(despite paying the $10) and left the store so angry it took awhile to calm down to drive. I am FIRMLY Value Village team now. There is no reason to act like that at work. She (for me) ruined the good the organization does and I will not support a company that continues to employ persons such as her.
Always find treasures
Great deals! Brand names and 50% off clothing on Sundays! Bought 3 great brand name hoodies for $10!
I use to enjoy coming to Goodwill... but now it's difficult to find books. Since nothing is organized anymore. All the books are just placed on a shelf under a day of the week??? Really.... I was wanting to pick up some cookbooks and some science fiction/fantasy books and kids books.. Nothing is organized anymore... I just left the store with no books.
Good thrift shop with lots of selection and good prices. Always clean and usually well staffed. Budget a bit of time, this is one of the larger Goodwills in town! Wide selection of second hand clothes, small toy section, not so much kids stuff as the one on the West side of town, but a ton of adult clothes and good turnover in stock.
I always find great furniture here! Usually pretty busy, but the staff are very helpful and pleasant.
Great finds!!! Reasonable pricing.
Help a good cause and the planet and enjoy the excitement of always-new inventory. So much better than buying things new.
Best Goodwill in/around Edmonton. This location always has a good selection
I've found this location to be a gem if you're looking for cheap furniture. Even if it needs a little bit of loving, I have found some amazing pieces
They moved to this new location and the results are mixed. The parking is 100% better, the store is larger and easy to navigate. Prices are up, that's the down side.
Employing people with disabilities . Good place to find rare items. it's a one stop shop
To expensive and disorganized
Lots of good used items to choose from at reasonable price.
Loads of selection to choose from and not too crowded it was lovely:)
Nice clean store, well organized and good selection
Nice big space. Nice staff. Lots of choices
Very good store.
The new way they organize the books is awful. Otherwise, the rest of the store is fine.
Huge store, lots of items to look at. Staff wasn't the most helpful but thats ok
Some time we can get essential items from here at a reasonable price.
Amazing hidden gems very open space with lots of selection!
Lots of good stuff. Some priced fair others a little much. For things that were donated.
It's interesting, much smaller than it's previous location. Kind of awkward
I visit the store from time to time. Might be difficult to see something specific but you will usually see something nice to get.
Like all thrift stores, one needs to have lots of time to browse to look for whatever one has in mind, especially clothing items
That lady with the long hair is not approachable and not friendly.
Store design is very nicely set up. Not enough womens plus size clothes to fhoose from.
Great daily deals and friendly staff for the most part.
Not very organized. Sizes everywhere and not clearly marked.
The workers are very friendly and helpful. We've made about 20 trips here in the last month with all kinds of stuff in preparation for our move.
Great thrift store. Way bigger than expected.
Nice location. Good selection.
New location, better then old one . Parking will continue to be an issue.
I was explaining to the cashier that the ankle weights they are selling are the same price as new, but they looked to be over 10 years old. Then a lady in line said I was rude then when I told her to mind her business all the other cashiers started screaming at me and a man came behind me and grabbed me and said to stop bullying people, literally assaulted me for no reason, then acted like a coward when I told him to come outside lol some weird people in Edmonton ! And a lot of stuff here is overpriced !! It’s a second hand store, you get stuff for free and then try to sell it for more than new ??
Big selection of clothing and other things .
Expensive. Their price expensive than outlet malls. Some dollar store items have 3.99 and 4.99 price tags. Not worth it.
One of my favourites, pretty organized and clean, lots to look through. I did however stop going to goodwill for ethical reasons as I feel they underpay their staff.
Very clean, lots of variety. Reasonable pricing.
Store is easy to get around in the parking is way better and the selection is pretty good with very affordable deals. That's my experience from going there just twice
Love this goodwill can always find something good and theres soo much to choose from!
It's ok
Always someone there to welcome you when you pull up to donate.
Very clean and organized stock.
This goodwill is SO CLEAN! My favorite thrift store in the city and the prices are great. There are separate racks for name brand stuff if that's what you're into and the housewares are great. I found a beautiful glass pitcher for 7 bucks and they have lots of crystal in the front for good prices as well.
Busy but still found what I was looking for
Perfect place to look for movies, cds and vinyl.
Very clean store, large change rooms and great selection!
Larger Goodwill. Lots of varied and interesting things. Lots of clothes
They have kool stuff and nice people
Huge selection great prices
This place used to be good but now they are just in it for the profit prices are crazy supposed to help people not gouge
It's the biggest Goodwill in all of Alberta they have the best prices and best selection
This place seems more like Winners than a second hand store, with the exception that the prices are better! I really like this location compared to others (Sherwood Park/Whtye ave) as it’s bigger, with better selection. There are lots of books and household items along with tons of clothes. Definitely worth a visit!
I usually like this location but I bought a pair of pants and of course the fitting rooms are closed so when I got home I found that they were way too big. The exchange policy is 7 days - which is barely any time unless you have nothing else to do except hang out at goodwill. I took them back on the 8th day as I have a life, and apparently that 12 hours makes a huge difference as they wouldn't exchange them. So I left the pants there, as what am I supposed to do with a pair of pants that don't fit me ? Now they get to make double the money off me. Awesome. I'll stick to the west location.
This is a new store. HUGE and lots of good stuff
Big store awesome selection ????
This is a location I both Love and Loathe going to. I love that the selection is plentiful, but I loathe looking through the ramshackle racks! I went recently to this location and as I heading toward the shoe department I picked up a few things and put them back on the shelf. Easy thing to do, right? Next thing I know a woman close to me yells, "Good Girl, good girl picking up the stuff off the floor because no one else does it". I was speechless. The staff here are friendly and hardworking! Even one or two pieces of clothing would probably make a difference for them.
Lot's of variety. Big space bright and clean.
This store is HUGE! I love coming here to explore deals.
This is a horrible company, Heres just a couple things about this company. They lie to the public and aren’t truthful, selling clothes that have bugs on them an broken electronics. The companies bad history (look online) is the only reason they help the handicapped or disabled people, They only help the ones they choose. Employees steal. Head office is a joke they pretend to be concerned when all they want is there next pay check. Constantly hiring normal people an then hiding the two employees who have disabilities. They actually kicked a father an his son with disabilities out of they’re store because they were scared of the security guard because he kept following them. Don’t donate too this corporate machine. Go local and be pure hearted.
Huge selection and great prices, this is my new go-to goodwill!
I find them expensive and some things but good to go good people working there
Plenty of stuff to buy, great deals especially the colored tags!
Big store, doesn't feel like a thrift shop and has lots of selection that changes multiple times a day
Huge selection, slightly overpriced for used clothing. Excellant service with helping me load the dresser I purchased :) Thank-you.
I always enjoy shopping at Goodwill .I look for different things and clothes books etc prices are good and the money goes to a good cause and
I could spend the whole afternoon there if I had time
We shop here about once a month. The store is generally pretty clean, and the staff is friendly. The prices are in line with the other thrift stores in the city.
Good used stuff found here in Good well. You find anything you want and need in this store with reasonable price.
A little pricey but it's great for glasses and general kitchenware.
Love the selection and salea
Everything you need from clothing to household items, children's books, toys. So many things.
Dont shop for any Gardens
I will tell people that I got a humidifier that it was garbage I too it back and the supervisor who works today Sunday refused to exchange it, you goodwill people you get your salary from our free donation and they cannot give costumers satisfaction from now on I will throw my stuffs to the garbage no more free items.
One of the best Goodwills in the city! I always find amazing things. The store is very organized and clean, and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Good selection of clothes, just a bit disorganized and sizes are all mixed up
Great selection and very clean -- but the dressing rooms are locked and you need to get staff to open them for you, which can be difficult when they are busy, which is often!
I walked knowing it is a thrift store I am walking into but it is as big as a department store. The Isles are large, the selection clean and varied. The store itself is kept clean and tidy with none of the stale smell you get at certain thrift stores. Great products to be found at great prices. Very much worth a trip for whatever you're looking for
Great items every time I go, found what I wanted within 10 minutes!
Very disappointed. Too crowded noisy and poor quality of merchandise donated
Excellent customer service by staff named Pavi. Very knowlegable about mission and roundup. I did round up upto 5 dollars just because of her impressive service. I am so insipired by goodwill’s mission. I will be back soon.
Awsome store with lots of variety.
A good place to buy vintage vinyl disc.
Love it always like to reuse and recycle things
Good place to get 2nd hand clothing.
Excellent. Has the feel of a retail store, not a thrift store. In a positive way. Clean, well lit and nicely organized with helpful staff. Most of all, unlike some other thrift stores, they haven't let their prices get out of hand.
When the store moved to CALGARY trail location it was awesome. I must say my visits over last month have been horrendous. The store seems so disorganized now. It started when you moved the plus size clothing to the end of regular racks. We can never find anything and for the most part there is so much small clothing there. At least when plus size had its own rack you seemed to have better luck finding stuff. We also find that it seems stuff is just thrown on shelf’s so when u choose something, something else falls on the floor. Seems so disorganized now. We used to be in here 2-3 times during week and both sat and sun- I have been so disappointed lately I might go once a week now. I miss some of the 51 ave staff too- they were so friendly now some staff act like they don’t even want to be there. I know this will probably not do any good but the cashier suggested I write a review so here it is.
So this store has great stuff but they’ll miss placed a bag of mine that had my financial information including my wallet and such that I asked him to put safely behind the counter while I shopped whenever I was finished shopping my bag had gone missing still to this day they have not retrieved my bag very unprofessional everyone just passes the buck onto the next person honestly I have no idea why we pay these people any amount of money at all for the clothing that gets donated to them at the goodness of peoples hearts and these places are getting rich from charging ridiculous amounts of money for clothing that was donated
The line is very long and slow moving now. Nothing against the store I am just bitter about lines everywhere..
Reasonable prices & good quality items.
Great setup, clean and bright. Book selection is fantastic and books are in great condition too!
I've found items here that are brand new that's not even been opened. Also found items here that are in very good shape and if something you bought stops working after testing it in the store, they won't give you a refund but will provide you an in store credit voucher. Seems reasonable. Also all items purchased here are not for profit and NO TAX!! If you're on a budget and can't afford to buy something new, check them out.
Southside/Southpark used to be the best goodwill to shop at. Now i find myself going to sherwood park. I can deal with the mixed up isles, and unorganized areas. i get it customers mess it up ( the evening change room attendant told me that is why it is not organized ) But what will stop me going from this store often will be the customer service i receive. Everytime i walked in the same groups of people are just standing and talking and ignoring customers and when one asks for help you get this uninterested eye roll. My worst experience was with a cashier named Kam? I could not see all her name tag. She was very rude, broke my glass that i bought and didnt even apologize. I asked if i could pick another mug out instead and she responsed rudely "it was not my fault that you broke it" i will have to get my supervisor. She dropped it. This was not the first time i have had a run in with her. But yes many evenings an even during the day her and 3 or 4 other cashiers are just standing talking. I miss the old staff prior to last summer. It really seems like the staff are there for a pay check not because they enjoy the job Anyways I will just stick with sherwood park and other stores.
Excellent service and atmosphere
Good quality items. Helpful staff.
Great prices (of course) and selection was big. Friendly staff too. I spoke to three of them, they were even smiling!
Store was clean and staff were helpful
Friends and community canadians My advice is to triple check the items you buy from this store NO STAR . prices sold are almost buying new items like clothing / electrical/ shoes . et al I believe the store is more of PROFITS and they just using thrift and charitable organizations as entry level. clothes / kitchens wares and utensils / Shoes are not sanitized and disaffected making buyers prone to communicable diseases. electrical and electronics are not tested and store refuses returns even if stores allow you to have 7days which a tricky statement. that the price is just buying a new one which you can return it for months or years until you are satisfied. Calling Charitable department to futher investigation into the store real intentions. Are they really helping Canadians.Calling also Media I believe the store needs to Classify BETWEEN JUNKIES ITEMS TO Useful worthy items if the real intentions is to helping community canadians .
It's a second hand place that actually has a charitable objective. A lot of junk but some gems if toy get the timing right. Don't forget value village is a for profit enterprise that takes its inventory for free. Good will does something with some of ther profit.
The clothes are in good condition some things still with the tags. They always have a sale like blue tags half off, or another day it would be green or red tags that are half off.
Great selection of cool stuff. Bought some music CD,s good selection. Staff is awesome
The books are organized by the day they were put in the shelve. If you're looking for a specific book, good luck! Worst organization I've ever seen. The rest of the store is put together ok. A little messy, but at least in proper categories.
Always good finds here!
Very nice inside. Huge selection of everything. Some prices were a little high.
Product could be cleaned better, still enjoyed experience.
Lots of decent choice for second hand stuff
