I’m highly disappointed in this store! The prices are outrageous. Went into the store today with my mom for the first time in a year and a half to look at tops the tops here used to be anywhere from $1.50 to 4 dollars max now the tops start at seven dollars to $12 one towel was $7 crazy! One towel used to be 1 to 2 dollars. We like to come here because it’s supposed to be a nonprofit organization that helps the women shelter and helps people in need shop at a lower price and we love supporting a good cause but we definitely won’t be back at those prices it seems like they’re more just making a profit for themselves at this point we also like to donate here good quality stuff very often but definitely won’t be donating here again

I went to the County Clothesline to find a dress that my daughter needed for a photo shoot. I had only yesterday to find as I needed to mail it to her in Vancouver so it would be there before Saturday. One of the ladies there said there was a dress in the back that might be exactly what I needed. She went to see but was told they couldn't take it out. So I went to ask the manager Freda if I could see it. I was told there was no way I could see it or buy it. They could not bring out till graduation season. It's March and many people start looking for grad dresses way before this and since when do you refuse to sell something that you have in stock. So I will never return to County Clothesline nor recommend anyone go there. The ladies on the floor were wonderful but as a manager Freda you are lacking. So much for customer service. Extremely Poor!!!!

Hard to get to location on GMaps, with the parking lot leading to a dead-end in an industrial area; poor street signage contributed to getting turned around, too. After some sightwork, the goods were spotted through a window and safe-distance-shopping ensued. What I found in this secondhand shop was a surprisingly diverse mish-mash of current *and* vintage clothing, toys, housewares, etc. The prices are VERY reasonable, and the store boasts being a helper to the community. That being said, they followed my man and I around the store the whole time..... seriously, white-people, CHILL. Due to the obvious negative-racial profiling, I will likely not go out of my way to shop there again.

Way better prices then other thrift store and actually helping out in the community. Smaller store but more quality id say. Just got a full suit for 15 dollars when tip top sells the exact one for 250+. Great experience yet again and also got lucky with the find!

Love this store. Everything is so nicely displayed. Roomy isles. Quality merchandise. Every time I go there they have rearranged the categories and it looks better and better. They were working on putting out Christmas decor items when I was there. They have a lot of nice items which are easily affordable. I bought a quilted puffer jacket for $15.00 to replace my 18 year old carcoat.

Dominique Faith

Price seem to have have gone way up here. Prices used to be very reasonable on everything not so anymore. You can't try anything on or return anything.

Fabulous organization with an amazing staff.

Kimberly ALLEN

I am very disappointed in their final sale on all items "due to covid". You can't try on anything and can't return an item if it doesn't fit - due to covid - yet you can shop and touch items while in the store and they are accepting donations...Please explain the scientific reasoning behind this! I will take my business and donations to the Salvation Army who issue exchanges within 10 days of purchase and receipt. Also prices are all over the map. Some items priced fair but other items are priced way out to lunch on, it all just really depends. Some items you would pay the same price as you would find on the clearance rack of a retail store ie Rickis, Cleo, etc. I saw a pair of dress pants with a retail tag still on it for $69, County Clothes line was asking $30.... why would I spend that much on a pair of pants I can't try on or return? I really hope they reconsider this ridiculous policy.

Debbie Goodspeed

Love the purse I found ♡♡♡

I love this thrift store because all the profits go back into my community of Strathcona. I donate my gently used items here. The people are friendly and the facility is clean and bright.

I love coming here because the prices are very reasonable and the staff is very friendly except for one of the girls had terrible costumer service. She had no name tag but she is the tall blonde girl with shorter hair. I went to pay for my things and she didn’t say 1 word no smile or Have a nice day or anything. Awful.

County Clothes-Line is a local organization that greatly benefits our community. It’s always my first choice for any items that I am donating. I make sure to stop by on a regular basis to check out the selection, since I have lucked out on some really great buys!

Maureen Millar

Agreed! Best thrift store around. You need to go regularly to ensure you get your favourite items. They only put out the best items so you don't have to keep an eye out for the stains, rips and missing buttons. They clear out tag colours regularly so you'll always find something new everytime you go.
