This is a factory outlet. They always have sales on & the clothes are really from Banana Republic not just cheaper clothes brought in from somewhere. If you give your email, almost every weekend you get extra % off the already discounted clothes. I picked up good quality leggings from the the other day for $9. Only thing I don't like is the emails I get talk about an online factory outlet but for some reason I can't get to the sight

We always find good deals here! I have a 4 years old BR t-shirt and I still love it! During the sales, you can find very good quality clothes with unbelievably low price! We are satisfied with all the products that we have purchased. This shop is located close to many other shops that give you this opportunity to walk to other stores such as GAP. Staffs are polite and helpful.

I went in the store today and definitely experienced size discrimination!!! I saw an outfit and found 2 of the same color, and style, and even the same original price. I noticed the only difference on the label is that it has petite on it. The sale person agrees it is the same color and style. I asked why the dramatic price difference she said they are not the same item! And she said it “four” times to make her point. Why should I pay more because of my physical size?? I asked and she said it’s not the same item and because it is “petite”. What does it mean anyways? If it’s not size discrimination, I don’t know what I would call it! I left the store without buying it and think how ridiculous this is!!! Strangely enough I never feel this way when I go into high end stores like Hermes and LV, but maybe because they don’t have an different item for “petite” size!

Good clothes and the factory store has good prices, the only drawback is the factory store only accepts returns from factory store and the main store only accepts returns from the main store - which means you're hooped if you went to the factory store because there is only one in edmonton

Went at 8:30 this Wednesday March 14 and the google site said open till9. Well they were not. They were closed and they removed the time sticker for the ‘closing time’ off the door. But every other day of the week had a closing time. Strange. Super upsetting as I came from work and it was the last day of a sale I have been trying to get to. Should stick true to hours or change so people don’t waste time driving across town to go.

GAP, Old Navy and Banana Republic are all sister concerns. But they are all different according to their product variety and quality. Banana Republic is the top end brand. So a bit expensive.But it maintains better quality. Specially you can find more formal outfits here.

On May 18, 2017 around 6:30 pm. I went to store to return one of my purchases. Had some disagreement on settlement of style cash amount. The Manager of the store showed lack of customer dealing experience. She was very much arrogant and non friendly. She was not willing to listen any thing and showed herself as a boss. With such staff I would not recommend this store to anyone.

I wanted to return an item within the 60 days return policy because the acrylic in the sweater gave me rash - I had worn it once. They did not accept it because I have tried it on once and as I told them I had skin irritations they said: “you can donate it” !!!!!!

This place is definitely worth checking out every now and then. You can find some amazing deals here. I've bought full suits for under 130 CAD, jeans for 10-15 CAD, t-shirts for a few bucks and accessories for a couple dollars. You might not be lucky every visit, but certainly worth the shot every time (use student ID for an additional 10% discount)

The manager on duty of BANANA REPUBLIC SOUTH COMMON STORE’s name is CHANNMIT showed such carelessness on her part. I came in to return an item that still had tags on it. It was purchased with my husband’s credit card so they couldn’t find it with mine. She just said NO we can’t do anything. I was ready to recieve store credit but she never showed any concerns, no empathy at all, didn’t come up with any options whatsoever. This item clearly had the price visible on the tags and had BANANA REPUBLIC’s label on it. She didn’t even bother to say ‘’sorry I’m not able to help you’’. Instead she appeared to be very rude in terms of not understanding what I’m trying to say. I’ve been shopping at this store for 9 years now and now Just with this kind of experience I’m going to tell my friends and family NOT TO SHOP at this location. This was the worst experience I had. She was the manager on duty and I’m sorry to say but she showed lack of customer skills. I would say even a cashier working at WALMART has better customer skills than her. To be honest, I wouldn’t even give this store any rating but because I have to write a comment, I have to give them a rating. I would appreciate a follow-up call from the store manager. I’ve been working in customer service environment for 10 years myself and know what a worst customer service is.
