Thank you Square One Homes, we could not be happier! After consulting with at least 5 different contractors for our home renovation, my wife and I met with Jordan at Square One Homes and knew right away that Square One was the going to be the right choice for us. From day one, Jordan and his team gave us their time, knowledge and support. They walked us through the various scenarios and the steps required. They held our hands when we needed it and let us take care of things if we wanted and were able. Then a few weeks before the reno's were to start we made a complete 180 and decided to go a complete new direction. Square One got into action, new drawings, new pricing, new everything. We were back in action 3 weeks later and in our house as scheduled. The job site was clean and organized. The trades were polite and professional. The scheduling of trades and work seemed to move like a well oiled machine. We have nothing but good things to say about everyone at Square One Homes. Our renovation was organized, unstressful and on budget. I have recommended Square One Homes to a handful of friends and will continue to do so. Thanks Square One!

The 1 star is for their ability to plan and organize projects. The missing four stars are because of the following: The Quality does not match their prices. They are basically charging you for Home Depot quality materials, but they are purchasing Alibaba Quality materials. They are transparent with billing. You can log into see, but they must be getting kickbacks because all their quotes are way higher than if you priced it out yourself. The staff are friendly but definitely not trustworthy. Better builders exist out there.

The projections for budget and schedule were very accurate. Given the magnitude of the project, The Builder Trend App they use to communicate between project manager, construction manager and client was invaluable. We have never renovated or built a home and this was a very transparent way to navigate this project. The home we have lived in for the last 30 years has been completely transformed, from the subfloors and studs, into our dream home. The bones still exist but the house is brand new. After consultations with several builders, we chose "Square One" for our kitchen/sitting area renovation.. From our first formal meeting through to the completion of the project, our confidence in their craftsmanship and integrity only grew stronger. It all begins with the Team they have assembled; Jordan and Joey were our initial contacts and provided us with a proposal and design to proceed with, and assured us that their costing is 100 percent transparent, and it in fact was. Changes or additional costs due to minor changes (that are expected in projects like these), were never done without consultation and approval. Our project manager was Todd - an absolutely honest, prompt and knowledgable individual. Todd and Joey assembled a team of electricians, plumbers, drywallers etc. ;all were extremely professional/thorough, and again, always there when they said they would be. Jay was our Square One primary carpenter - fantastic!!!! In conclusion: Not certain what more one could ask for when going through a project like ours.All concerns or questions were responded to immediately (all Square one employees who touched our project were simply awesome - a true family feel). We wouldn't have changed a thing. And oh ya- came in under budget - when does that happen!!!

It was a pleasure working with Square One. Square One did an outstanding job renovating our outdated, downstairs bathroom, and fixing several other features of our house. We recommend the company highly, due to their professionalism, efficiency, and the skill of their team. They are experts, and we were very happy with the process and the final product. From the beginning to the end, the Square One team, Jordan Harrison, Joey Hymers, and in particular the project leader, Matt Hutton, defined professionalism. They were respectful, polite, and trustworthy. Importantly, they have very high standards for their work, and for the work of the other members of their team. They made sure that we, as the customers, were satisfied with both the vision of the final renovation, and with the step-by-step process used to achieve that goal. Specifically, at the initial meetings, Jordan Harrison, Joey Hymers, and Matt Hutton told us about the policies that define the company and explained how the entire process would work. After listening to what our goals were, they came up with an excellent and detailed vision for how the completely renovated bathroom would look, and how the other repairs would be addressed. They provided a clear timeline for completion of the project that fit with our schedule. The fixed price contract meant that we didn’t have to make dozens of decisions along the way and worry about whether any of our choices would add to the cost. The company has defined worksite protocols that were posted at the site, thus making expectations clear. The project leader, Matt Hutton, was terrific. He listened carefully, discussed things with us, and continually made sure that we were happy with the way things were progressing. He is exceptionally professional and has very high standards for his work. He came up with creative solutions for dealing with a very small bathroom space, and if something didn’t turn out the way he wanted or wasn’t done to his satisfaction, he made modifications. He gave us great confidence and made the whole process very easy. We felt that we could discuss any aspect of the project with him, that he would listen, and provide excellent advice. All of the trades people and assistants that worked with Matt were also very professional and polite, and did excellent work. Matt is a stickler for keeping the workplace clean and tools and materials were always stored neatly at the end of every workday. The work was completed in a timely manner and Matt made sure that every last detail was taken care. The results are terrific. Our moldy 1970’s era basement bathroom has been transformed into something much more beautiful than what we had imagined. The other work done on our home by Matt and his team was superb and thorough, and solved longstanding problems. We would certainly use Square One again and can’t say enough good things about the whole experience. If you need renovations, call Square One!!
