We chose Alair for our reno last year and we're very happy with our decision! Our reno included upgrades to our bathrooms, basement and flooring. The project was on schedule and budget which are two things you rarely hear about a renovation. We also were very impressed by the quality of work from the trades and many of the recommendations from Alair for suppliers Chris Rich and Peter are great communicators and very responsive which is so important for this type of project. And with a baby on the way, they went above and beyond to try to make sure we were back in our house on time. And, even though the project is over, the Alair team has been regularly checking in, and have even helped us coordinate a bit of work that was out of scope from our original project. The kids had left home so we decided on an inside restructure of our house as we didn't want to move from an excellent location. We called Alair and they did a better job than we expected. They helped with the design and then supervised all the construction work which was done by their competent sub-contractors, who were always polite and thoughtful. The Alair system is very transparent and their progress is easily followed on their website. Each project has its own login which is easily followed by a non-computer whiz.

I cannot say enough good things about the team at Alair Homes, headed by Chris Black. They completed our recent renovation, which was a significant overhaul and redesign of our main floor, kitchen, and family room, plus some improvements in our master bedroom and outdoor space. The communication was always clear and the work was top notch. We have done renovations before, even built a custom home about ten years ago, so we have experience with contractors and trades, but this was by far our best experience. From the beginning, Alair listened to our needs and really took into account our budget, coming up with some creative ways to save money without sacrificing quality. On site, the work was supervised and organized by John Campbell, who I would trust again in a heartbeat if we were to renovate or build. Keeping that many different trades working together in unison to meet a deadline is not an easy feat, but he managed very well. The end result was a a gorgeously modernized home that everyone who has seen comments on how nice it looks. We couldn't be happier.
