By far the most unprofessional and inefficient home builder I have dealt with. We regrettably built a bungalow with this home builder and we were initially fooled by their sales and marketing representative. They fooled us into believing that they were going to custom build our home, after we had signed the contract, we were tremendously shocked with their negligence and their lack of professionalism. They repeatedly refused our requests for minor modifications, and after we fought to get our requests fulfilled they’ve sent us insanely inflated change orders for the most basic upgrades. We had to resort to having a low rise arch outside because they refused to build us a high rise arch like we had requested, claiming that the house next to our had a high arch. This serves I presume to fool potential clients into thinking that no house is like the other, when in reality they're all the same, except for the very minor modifications in exterior colour and having one pillar instead of two. They refused many requests that we ordered for the exterior and interior design. I really don’t understand why they’re running a custom home building franchise when this is more of a COOKIE CUTTER lab. They dont even cater to clients’ requests If you take a look around their lots this is exactly what you find; an uncreative, indistinctive homogenous residential neighborhood. Nothing about their designs is unique. I wouldnt recommend this home builder to anybody, please do your research and find a real reputable CUSTOM home builder. This home builder provides more of a tract housing, definitely not custom. In essence we have dealt with -Incredibly limited choices in floor plan and materials. (We were taken to the “decor center”, where were ultimately presented with limited choices in tiles and cabinet colour options , their “upgraded” tile is ridiculously high priced and you can easily find the same tile elsewhere for less than 1/4 of the price they charge you to have it installed. -Cheaper building material made to look costly, and insanely inflated change orders for the most basic upgrades. They marked up prices significantly just to reduce customization and further increase their profit - More mistakes and lower quality in construction Please do your research before throwing away your money, this is a life long investment so please check into more reputable home builders. This was a stressful and dreadful experience.

We purchased a Lucchetta custom built home a few years ago as a resale and we are thrilled with what we own. It is very well designed and constructed with many inspiring elements throughout. The elegant finishes and thoughtful layout was what drew us to this house. Upon move in we only changed the paint colours because everything else was perfect. When we chose to renovate the basement our contractor described the home as having ‘great bones’. The builder thought about everything when planning this house using only quality products in their detailed craftsmanship. The windows are big and well made allowing bright, natural light to enter the open spaces. Rooms are nicely laid out and finished with elegant doors and trims. You will find a richness and unmatched style that we see in their new custom homes now being built. We are very happy with our investment and would highly recommend Lucchetta Homes to build your upscale, custom designed home.

After working with multiple builders and attending many open houses, I can say with complete confidence that the quality Lucchetta produces is night and day from anything else I've seen. In fact, the final result was so good that it's going to be a struggle to find anything better. From the concrete foundation to the tile work, every step of the way is executed with care. Even the tubes in the furnace room are carefully aligned! The people are great to work with and they take real pride in their work. The flexibility is also unmatched when compared to other builders. They can build you a truly one-of-a-kind home without the pain of going custom. If you're looking for a solid home, you can't go wrong with Lucchetta.

Coming from downtown Toronto, I searched for almost 2 years in the Niagara Region for a new home. I looked up, down and sideways for some place I could hang my hat that was design savvy, top-notch workmanship and a reputation for detail. That search ended with my purchase at Davis Heights. I moved into my new, custom home 3 months ago. Lucchetta have a reputation for superb quality and I can assure you it’s well deserved. I couldn’t be happier. Heads and tails above most builders. This development, in particular, is spectacular.

Checked out Lucchetta Town Home , new build, Hunters Pointe. Went and met with the sales lady, and initialled, a book of sheets, signed up, and gave her a cheque, for a deposit. Made arrangements, to have my furniture stored, and a place to live, since I was told, it would be January 2022, before ready to move in, and my present home had been sold. Five days later, I get a call from, Rob Lucchetta. Said, I have some bad news, I will not sign the deal, at the advertised price. We need 20K more. Material, and labour, cost's, have increased. I agree, but, get your act together, should you have not told your staff, advertised the new price, not led me down the garden path, tell me a week later, the game is up. What an unprofessional, way, to do business. I almost went for it, then thought, gee, I need some upgrades, or a change order, what rabbit, would they pull from the hat next?? Cheesy .. Brian Healey

We have taken possession of our beautiful home at Hunter’s Pointe by Lucchetta! Working with the team at Lucchetta for the past year was and continues to be a great experience. Of course there are always small hiccups on a project this size, but everything was dealt with in a fast, friendly and professional manner. During the construction phase whenever we had a question or concern we always had a very consistent experience with Ed & Rob, Gavin and Wendi. Wendi, is Lucchetta's designer and if you want to work with an experienced professional person who also understands the huge stress of building a new home, Wendi is the perfect person. She has an incredible sense of humour and will always find a way to make you smile or right out laugh, while steering you in the right direction with your choices. She really knows how to listen to her clients and will give as much input as you require or let you lead if you so chose, but making sure your personal choices are tied into your overall vision. Gavin, is Lucchetta's director of operations. He was so invaluable to this construction process right down to electrical plugs and placements of items like pot lights. We either met in person or spoke via e-mail many times over the past year. Gavin provided us with great input on what to expect once the house is completed and how to take care of our valuable investment with things like controlling humidity. During our PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection), he made us feel at ease and never rushed us. We walked through the house in a very deliberate concise manner. He had answers to all our questions and knew how to address any items or issues. We were hard pressed to find big issues as the home is so well built. Gavin also walked us through any costing questions regarding change orders through the life of the process. He always allowed us time to review items before signing back, which made us feel comfortable. More importantly he always talked to us with respect and understanding, taking every opportunity to give advice and input. He was great and I think Luchetta is lucky to have him... Most of my dealings were with Ed Luchetta , but we also got the opportunity to meet Rob. On our closing day they both took the opportunity to meet with us to hand over the keys. We learned about their company and the two of them. They are very personable and a lot of fun to engage with. They were genuinely happy to welcome us to Hunter’s Pointe. The important thing about both of them is that they will always provide input if you have a question. None of my notes went unanswered when we needed direction or clarification. Though Michelle their Sales agent is new to their team, she is an amazing lady. We had already bought our home when Michelle started working at Luchetta, she nevertheless took a keen interest in us as new buyers. She inquired whether there was anything she could do for us and over the past several months, she has been a great presence always asking on how things are going and if we had concerns. Luchetta has a great team and a great product, with confidence we recommend one of their homes if you are looking for your next adventure in a great community! James & Ian

Having lived in Toronto almost our entire lives and our previous house for over 40 years, it was a major endeavour to take on 2 projects at one time that most people would probably never consider - moving to a much smaller community and without much knowledge purchase a NEW build not realizing all the considerations and input required. The Lucchetta family of knowledgeable experts have shepherded us through out the entire purchasing and design phases to where we have now moved into our new home in well under a year from our initial decision to buy. We are extremely pleased with the quality, presentation our ease of comfort- this really feels like our ‘Forever Home’.

New Davis Heights elegant custom home in Fonthill Ontario. Superb town, quiet street and lots have attracted great neighbours. Builder allowed us to create highly efficient interior layout exactly as required. Interior designer and decorator advisers provided first-rate advice. Trades are first rate and wanted to make us happy. Builder gave us advice on finishes which saved costs. Home is energy-efficient, saving costs. Everyone loves it here! Lucchetta Homes exceeded our expectations.

Very frustrated and disappointed with Lucchetta homes who did not follow through on what we were told pre purchase. Dealing with them in good faith is not recommended. This company cannot be trusted to do what was promised so make sure you get everything in writing. We were concerned with our under deck landscaping and repeatedly asked their representative what was going to happen there. “Don’t worry, Ed (Lucchetta) will do something nice for you there”. They left us dirt which turned to mud after each rain and flooded what was to be our below deck patio. Our complaints fell on deaf ears, until 30 days later we came home to find a 2x8 wooden border around the dirt, black tarp and pea gravel. An eyesore for sure but also a safety hazard as someone could easily trip over their wooden border. Their representative then changed his tune and said, “That’s what we do under all decks!” Had we been told this was their plan we would have said “NO!” and would have looked into changing it to something that looked better and wasn’t a safety hazard but we were never given that opportunity. Requests by me for them to help rectify our concerns were refused, suggesting they had no budget for this. And yet, when Rob (Lucchetta) asked me for additional funds to help cover their financial shortfall on our floor, I wrote him a cheque for $1500 in the hopes this would help with any future concerns. I’m just a homeowner and the $1500 was not in my budget. My bad!! Once again, make sure you get everything in writing as their representative’s words cannot be trusted. Very sad but true.

I find that other builders in town have cheaper homes. I have built with Rinaldi after looking for so long. I just bought a new build from Rinaldi. I saw about 30 homes before making my purchase (all new builds in the niagara area) and from my experience the Rinaldi homes were very well appointed for the price. Rinaldi's builds are the best by far. I can't even begin to describe how disappointing all the other new builds we saw were
