Pro from the start. My family wanted to finish our basement, and asked friends for referral. Rick's company met with us, drew up plans, quoted and delivered on time, with a gorgeous finish. From the first time Ron and I met Duke, we felt comfortable with him and his experience in the trade. We were nervous, with this being the first time we had ever endeavoured a major renovation. Was looking to have some custom cabinetry done in our basement along with new flooring and a bathroom renovation. First asked for a quote through their website and after not receiving a response after two days decided to call them only to be told that they weren't interested because it wasn't a big enough job? Would have preferred being told that they were too busy instead of being insulted and told my work wasn't good enough for them.

Ryan Bardwell was the lead hand who was always easy to get ahold of and effectively communicated any necessary information or took the time to clarify things I didn't understand. His crew —Marlon a great drywaller, Keenan a great secondary lead, along with Ben and Matt who were hardworking and superb. Definite attention to detail by the painter [Christine (?)]. Duke listened to our ideas about the layout of the basement but ultimately came up with a much more functional plan that we never would have thought of. Our experience with DeVrye finishing our basement with a full kitchen was great. Their estimate was very detailed and well priced. Aric guided us through the process of choosing the features for our basement. They sub-contracted out things like Flooring, Bathroom Tiling and Shower Glass Doors to some of the best in the business and we were very happy with how it turned out. They were flexible enough to let us to choose our own contractors to install things like our Quartz Kitchen Countertops. As well they were flexible enough to let us choose our own Facets, Bathroom Vanity, and Kitchen Cabinets. DeVrye's tradesman worked quickly and diligently. I was especially impressed by the attention to detail of those working on the drywall and our California ceilings. I would highly recommend them to those wanting to renovate their home.

We had DeVrye finish our basement and install a couple windows on the upper floors of our home earlier this year. At the time, we didn’t know any contractors in the area so we had a few companies provide quotes. DeVrye’s quote was on par with the other companies we reviewed but what set them apart for us during this stage was the warranty they provide on their work, the list of references they provided up front, and their evident knowledge of building codes. All the tradesmen that we interacted with were knowledgeable, professional and friendly. We appreciated the team’s ability to problem-solve and provide solutions. Duke was available by email/phone to answer any questions that we had throughout the project and gave us regular updates on what to expect. The project was finished on time and on budget. We would absolutely hire them again.

This Company came recommended from a friend. We called for an estimate and booked an appointment. We set aside some plans in order to make the appointment work for us and them. When the time came for our meeting at our house, nobody showed up. We waited for 30 minutes before calling to confirm the appointment. I spoke with a female that came across with a quick tongue. I explained the situation and she stated someone would return my phone call about the appointment. I never did hear back and nobody showed up for our appointment. I know that renovation companies are very busy right now. Some companies we have contacted have been unable to accommodate a renovation but were very professional in their communication with us and even referred us to some other reputable businesses. Unfortunately this was not the case with DeVrye.
