They did a good job on the new roof, but they left a lot to be desired.. Through out the build I had question and concerns which were either never answered or incorrect information was given. The times they ever reached out to contact me was to ask for money. The middle payment was to be made upon the commencement of the contracted work, but days before, I was getting calls practically begging for the cheque. The second they were 'done' up on the roof, I started getting calls again asking for money. And I say 'done' because they left a huge mess in our attic and crawl spaces which I did not discover until a week after. Our stored possessions are now coated in broken bits of wood and debris. If I had known about this sooner, I could have tarped our belongs to help protect them. Further more, they left a pile of debris behind our carport. It's a small space, but now I have to crawl in back there, clean this area up too, and haul this away. Here's the thing though.. Sunset did not do the work themselves... They hired out subcontractors to do the work for them. I am not happy about this; but as I said, they did do a good job on the new roof at least, however, i would not recommend, even with the $200 they offered per referral.

I’ve had some questionable work done on my house in the past, but these guys were a pleasure to deal with. They had my roof torn up and redone in a matter of a couple days! It was fast, painless, looks good, and cheaper than 2 other companies I was looking into last year. They’ve got my recommendation ????

Horrible experience with this roof contractor. Signed a deal, took $1,000 deposit and never completed the work. Dispute with subcontractors on unpaid bills was the reason. Stated they would refund the deposit back, still waiting after 5/6 months. Stay away.
