Matthew from Stone Haven Masonry Inc. (Stratford) did a great job repairing the chimney at my house. He provided a free quote prior to the project, and arrived on time to begin work on the scheduled date. I was working from home and there was no commotion or noise. He knew which bricks to buy that would match the damaged bricks that needed replacing and considering the age of the house the replaced bricks were a close match to the previous ones used. Not only was the work excellent but the price was reasonable and completed with great care and quality. Not only have my parents’ neighbours used Matt’s services but my parents have scheduled a project as well.

For all future customers to know- Matt Is not a mason and does not know what he is doing. He does not have any experience either. My business name is similar to his (stonewood) and I am getting lots of phone calls to come fix his work and it is not fixable. You can only fake google reviews for so long before people catch on your not a mason!

Matt did a fine job. Estimated my chimney repair, and showed up on time to start the work. Replaced the chimney crown and replaced the bricks. Completed the job and cleaned up the area. Chimney had a big hornets nest at the start of the job and Matt stayed and removed the nest. I must say, I was impressed.
