The National Club

I have had the pleasure of working with ROSSCLAIR on numerous projects including our rooftop lounge and patio addition (2013) as well as a recent major renovation of our entire 4th floor, including construction of a new restaurant (“1874 Bar and Grill”) and open concept Kitchen (2017). The National Club building is 110 years old and designated as a heritage building. It was a difficult task to essentially add an additional floor while maintaining all aspects of the heritage areas, and external look of the building. Throughout the course of the renovation ROSSCLAIR employees were very professional and respectful of the Club and our members. The job was done on time, on budget and with care and precision. They were accurate in their initial assessment of the scale and cost of our project. They were clear in their record keeping and time log. Given that our business was still in operation during both renovations, they were extremely accommodating in working around our busy periods, which required a quite atmosphere and clean environment. During the process ROSSCLAIR was helpful in addressing work change orders and cost saving ideas while enhancing the overall value and ambiance of the finished product. It has been my experience that the upper management of Rossclair Contractors, rather than running their business in an honest and respectable fashion, would prefer to rip off their sub contractors in favor of lining their own pockets.

We completed a 13000 ft office reno recently and had a great experience with ROSSClAIR; Project was done on time, and within budget, and the results were excellent. Paul was particularly strong at site coordination of all trades and after hours work as well. We had a few challenges with change orders and pricing, which are pretty typical in any project, and ended up with good resolutions. I would certainly recommend using them again.
