Two words best describe our experience with Ideal stairs " Highly recommended ". Rajan & Mesh, with their team led by Bhagi, did a spectacular job in updating our staircase from carpet to Oak. They also installed new rails, spindles, post and baseboards. Rajan was always in touch with us throughout the project making sure everything was ok. All of the work completed on time & the crews cleaned up every night after work. The work was completed to our satisfaction & we would strongly recommend Ideal stairs. Thank you again Rajan & Mesh. Poor staining and tread quality with too much color variation. Very poor clear coat / protection - I don't believe they put a clear coat, it looks more like a sealer as it's completely dead flat and feels like it will wear through in no time at all. I ended up putting another 2 coats of actual clear coat on top to protect the treads and handrail.

Rajan and his team from Ideal Stairs worked on the floors in our home as well as our winding staircase. They were scheduled to be working for two weeks, they finished in about 9 days. They were hard working, attentive and very responsive to any of our concerns. They managed to work with the existing subfloor that existed to ensure that all of the major creaks and uneven floors were fixed. They worked long hours, were attentive to details and followed instructions in terms of allowing us to inspect the subfloor to ensure everything was screwed down to our satisfaction. Even when one part of the family room floor was still making noise, they were willing to try and figure out the problem and make sure we were satisfied with the finished product. They inspected and found the source of the noises for the family room and the living room so that these two high traffic areas were without the creaks that would have driven us crazy. The two gentlemen that worked on the stairs were hardworking, cleaned up every day, and made the staircase an absolute masterpiece. We are extremely pleased with the work that was performed and the wonderful customer service provided by Rajan and his team. We would highly recommend them and we would certainly reuse them in future for any hardwood flooring work to be done.

These guys are truly amazing. Not only did they finish the job while I had other contractors in and out of the house. They even came back after to touch up all the stratches and paint stains left by the other contractors. They came back even after I said it was ok as it wasnt their fault and I would get it fixed. They didnt accept my offer they have pride in the work they do and want to make sure its up to their highest standard.

My experience with Rajan and his crew was incredibly positive! They installed 800 square feet of engineered hardwood floors and 28 steps in my townhouse. They matched the engineered hardwood floors to the oak steps perfectly (as can be seen in one of the pictures I uploaded).
