(I) DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Complete driveway replacement Mr. Khalid (Kal) and his crew did an exceptional job replacing our very old Asphalt driveway (approx. 1000 square feet) with a combination of high grade stamped concrete and driveway pavers. The job was incredibly challenging as there was approximately 16 inches of uneven concrete (surprise find!) below the asphalt and involved days of labor- breaking old concrete bedding and hauling away the dirt. Also, considering the fact that my home is located in core downtown district and there is a roadway in front of my place with high traffic density, the job required even more caution and perseverance. Kal was amazingly accommodating, and helped in working through many unexpected hurdles which truly is his standout character. You can contrast his behavior with other contractors (whom I have dealt before) who constantly whine and are inflexible at any non vetted issues that may arise during the job execution. The newly poured driveway by Kal looks fantastic and I highly recommend his service for any concrete work you may intend to get done. I am extremely happy with his work and professionalism and will not hesitate to use his services again. (II) DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Fence staining, and home painting I would like to mention that apart from exceptional concrete/stone work, Kal’s company also undertakes general contracting. Recently, I assigned fence staining for a very large area surrounding the entire property and the fence was more than 6 years old. The work was completed in record time and the refurbished fence looks as though it is installed brand new. Also, I commend Kal for his outstanding paintwork throughout my house which included heavy taping and sanding work. The timeliness, attention to detail and simply professional work is extremely impressive and I strongly recommend his services for anyone looking for general contracting. If you are planning any work around your property, I strongly recommend Kal’s services without second thought and save yourself time and effort vetting other constructors. The entire crew was very friendly yet focused on their work and the end product has been a topic of conversation by all our neighbors, which is just perfection.

I hired Khalid ( All Star Construction) to rebuild a failing staircase from an upper landing to backyard. much more challenging than it sounds. i found his pricing to do the job very fair and reasonable particularly with spiraling construction costs due to covid. Considering his workload he almost met timing expectations inspite of a few rainout days. Good communication skills, informing me of rain delays and when he would be back on the job. Work Quality was very good and displayed that he and his team was quite capable of doing complex jobs. Overall very satisfied with the end product and all aspects of the job.

I would highly recommend Khalid and his team. They were professional, extremely reliable and went above and beyond in the work they did. He completely transformed my basement. We started the job thinking we could put laminate on our basement floor. As it turns out, the floors were too uneven. Rather than pay a 30% restocking fee on the product to be returned, I decided to sell it to my sister who lives in Whitby. Khalid offered not only to take it out to her but he also unloaded it in the area she needed it to go! Anyone else would’ve either not even offered or would’ve charged me extra to do so! Khalid did it with a smile. He is someone I would highly recommend. He treated my home like It was his own. I will definitely call on him and his team next time I need a contractor.

Khalid and his crew built a new wooden retaining wall in our backyard. The old and rotten one needed to be taken out and replaced by a new one. This was a big job. All manual labour, no use of heavy machinery due to environmental considerations. When he said he needs nine days I thought this is very ambitious. If he could do it in 18 days that's more realistic I thought. He did it in 9 days! I was stunned. He is very professional, reliable and very nice to work with. I give him 10 stars out ot five (no mis-spelling here). Great company, great workers, great results, great price. I will definitely hire him for more outdoor projects for sure.

All Stars Construction Inc. just finished renovating my 1970’s original basement in my Thornhill home. The basement was fitted with wood paneling and had an unfinished laundry room. Khalid and his team demo’d an unsightly bar and wood paneling that opened our space dramatically. They also basically built us a new laundry room and exquisite ceiling that hid shoddy work from original builders. The once dingy, dark and outdated basement with a spooky laundry room, now looks beautiful, bright, refined and a place I’m proud of. Khalid worked with my families budget and made helpful suggestions along the way. He has a keen eye and listened to what our needs were.
