They came promptly when called but didn’t follow up the next day. Service man said he would be back the next day with a part he needed to complete the repair. Never heard back so called at 4 o’clock and was told they didn’t get the part needs to complete the repair. They would call when they got the part. Now furnace isn’t working and heating my house this weekend with 2 space heaters.

My parents needed their fireplace repaired as it was the primary source of heat on main floor of house, long and short, the fireplace was repaired but feel that we were over charged on the repair, my parents are seniors and they were not even offered a discount for this. I did price match with three other competitors and found them to be about $150 cheaper. The only reason we went with wardlaw was because I did not want to leave my parents with out heat. Over all I feel that they were over charged.

No No No… I would not recommend anyone to make this their first choice. I called out for a no heating complaint on a Friday around 7pm, I was told it would cost 200 CAD to come out and check it since it was off regular hours. Fasco exhaust inducer motor had packed up and needed replacement. the following day I was called by the electrician that the motor and installation would cost 1003 CAD before tax...…...yes... I was billed 1003CAD before tax for a motor that cost 342cad....asked for an official quote, waited another 2 days to get a mail stating the same about....called another company and ended up fixing it for 600 CAD tax included.... I would suggest getting a second option / opinion when ever you get a quote form this company.....also don't call after regular hours...

The serviceman Nick, was very competent, he found the problem and corrected it. The repair had to be completed in the ceiling, in a limited cramped space, and entailed the removal of ceiling tiles. The tiles were replaced after completion, nice and neat. He was also very good at explaining things.

I booked an appointment with Wardlaw to get the regulator on the propane tank checked. At the summer furnace inspection, Rusty looked at the regulator and did some adjusting and told me to call back in the fall if the noise persisted. The appointment was changed 3 times and finally one was confirmed for last Monday at noon. Then I received an email that my appointment was between 9 - to - noon. So I cancelled my morning activity. Rusty arrived at 1:30 and after checking the noise , he called MacDougall Energy to come and fix it. Apparently the tank is owned by MacDougall and I should have called them first. Wardlaw receptionist did not tell me this . Rusty was knowledgable but he took 10 minutes to tell me to try the other avenue. I like dealing with Wardlaw but this time was very frustrating.

So, it's late September of 2021, chilly morning, and my old furnace fails to fire. I make a call to Wardlaw and they send someone right away. I get a text message when the repairman was on his way, and it gives me his work experience and history. Unfortunately my furnace is beyond repair seeing as it's about 40 years old I can't complain. Salesman comes next day with options and quotes for those options. Great service. In a time when it seems customer service is a thing if the past Wardlaw came through and went above and beyond. I would highly recommend their services.

we had a new napoleon furnace and air conditioner unit installed in early may by a Wardlaw crew. Unfortunately we didn't get both of the names but one was Jordon . They were efficient ,friendly, clean and very thorough in in completing the job. Jordon noticed that someone who installed our gas stove many years ago, had not installed the gas line properly. He indicated that once he had seen this he could not just leave it in that condition. He and his partner repaired the problem, wrapped up their job, and cleaned up the site completely each day. We could not be happier with their professionalism , knowledge of the product and its use. Thank you to Wardlaw for providing such a competent crew. I was also happy to work with Chris throughout the process in deciding what was the best fit for us. I never felt he was trying to upsell anything and was clear on what we could expect with the choices we made. He was very patient with my many questions and did his best to fit into our sometimes difficult schedule.

We had two fireplaces serviced by Wardlaw after purchasing the house, when the weather got colder the fireplace would not start, we tried reaching out to Wardlaw about the issue, and they were happy to schedule a diagnostic visit for the full cost (109.99$), even though they serviced it earlier in the year. The statement on their website stating "Our first concern is your satisfaction, which is why our work is guaranteed for ONE FULL YEAR from the date of the repair!" - is clearly not true. If you want to get your fireplaces serviced, we would strongly advise you to seek business elsewhere.

They were very thorough (I could hear them discussing different aspects of the installation.) They replaced filters and vacuumed it inside & out. We just bought our first house and we wanted to get the furnace serviced/checked before the winter season. Nick Collins was our technician and he was very polite and informative. He took the time to teach me about checking and servicing some elements of my furnace and thermostat on my own. He discovered an issue with our furnace (it was old and had not been serviced regularly), took photos, and explained the issue and what could happen if it isnt addressed. He gave us some options to address the problem. We decided to replacile our mid-efficient furnace with a high-efficiency furnace. Nick helped us make an appointment with Steve. Steve was polite, quick to respond, and gave us a range of options to choose from. He seal-coated our asbestos tiles near our ductwork free of charge. He also provided us with space heaters to keep our house warm while we were waiting for our new furnace to be installed (our old furnace was unsafe to use). Dylan installed our new furnace the following day. He came in after regular office hours and made sure it was installed with diligence and care. He even upgraded the electrical to our thermostat so that we could use the fan function of the new furnace to help cool the house during the summer months. The technicians went above and beyond to help us, we are satisfied with the service we received with Wardlaw.

Bought a gas heating system from Wardlaw over 5 years. The product and service team at Wardlaw are great however the finance company that they use (Snap Financial) is absolutely terrible and a nightmare. If you can avoid financing with them then I recommend you do so. A 5 year stove has still not been paid off as was discussed and it will now take another 5 years plus a payout at the end. Avoid financing if possible.
