I am loving the warmth! October 15 I had a furnace and all the duct work installed. I couldn't be more impressed. The staff is professional and polite from start to finish. Not only did they do an excellent job they finished a day early! Thanks for the warmth????p.s. I like the water heater as well.

Only HVAC place I called in Sarnia Lambton that would order me a part I needed. I called others and they wouldn't order me the part without sending a service tech and charging me for a service call. It was an easy fix and I knew the exact part I needed. Got it next day!!!

I had an emergent gas leak. Poor customer service, couldn't book me in for over a week, never disclosed fees for service call, told me that I'd be "in the .01%" that they didn't tell because they "always" do (they did not), charged labour for someone to come and all he did was ask me to dig out my crawlspace access larger (which I did immediately), told me they would come back and ensured I was waiting at home for them then did not come back nor call (after they insisted I be home and therefore take the day off work) and the woman who finally did call me back told me her documentation states that they told me to remove my fence portion and that " if I hadn't written it in my own handwriting I might have given you the benefit of the doubt" when in fact there was never any mention of my fence, it was the crawlspace he had asked about, so clearly her documentation has flaws. She argued with me over each complaint I had. Received a bill for absolutely zero service aside from driving over to my house. Would not recommend.

Definitely would not recommend- I have been waiting for parts for a dishwasher covered under warranty for 6 months that were on backorder- when they finally came in I took the day off and the technician came in with the wrong part! Now I continue to wait with no solution as of yet. Also they wouldn’t give me work order/ part numbers until the 10th phone call as I was trying to get dishwasher replaced by manufacturer.

They can't even be bothered to return my call or reply to my email just to get a quote. All other companies returned quotes within 48 hrs of visiting the plant. Just crickets from this company.

I do not recommend WJ Barnes for any service in the future. I called regarding water dripping through my furnace onto the floor flooding my basement. Two days later the tech arrived, blew in the drain pipe (which I already checked was free of obstructions), put on a plastic connector to make blowing easier next time for some reason (I can easily blow air the other direction from the drain side to check this.). Then he put Freon in and left. He did not check anything further, didn't open the furnace to see what might be leaking, where it was coming from, or if there was something else broken nor did he turn anything on to see if the issue was resolved or still happening. He just left. I turned the A/C back on and within 20 minutes, water was leaking all over the floor again through the furnace, so I called back. A re-visit was scheduled for 3 days later because it was a long weekend. That was it. I then called Reliance Home Comfort (it was a Friday afternoon) and by dinner Sunday I had a new furnace and A/C installed and working - that is how customer service should be provided, not how I received it from WJ Barnes. I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because she knocked 15 minutes off my bill.
