Firstly we are very happy with the Daikin pump and the installation process. I only gave 2 stars because of a very unpleasant call I had regarding an invoice. Apperantly their full warranty doesn't include service calls and you can't ask about it without being shout at. I started the call by saying that I will pay (and I did) but it escalated quickly and I was told to not call them again. A very disappointing customer service.

Love our heatpump , great brand. They have replaced the unit under warranty 5 years into ownership. Little slow to service when there are issues but it always eventually gets taken care of overall very happy with Daikin and eco heat

We've had a lot of contractors do work for us over the years and Ecoheat has been one of the very best! They were professional, knowledgeable, efficient, showed up when they said they would and got the job done. I had a question about our heat pump in Quispamsis a year after they installed it and one of the owners personally came out to check on it the same day. I'd highly recommend them for anyone looking for heat pumps, generators, ventilation system, solar panels, or anything else they have to offer!

Above and Beyond Expectation. We had EcoHeat/EcoHome install two heat pumps, and add more insulation in parts of our home. During the insulation install there was a freak accident that occurred and we had some water damage. Not only did John and his crew admit fault, they were at our house the very next morning replacing some flooring. On top of this we had some very large trees fall when they were here. John insisted he wanted to take care of everything for us, so we didn't have to worry about it. The next morning they were here, cut two extremely large tree's and removed them from our property for no extra charge. A company that stands behind their product/work, and goes the extra mile to ensure the customer satisfaction is hard to find. EcoHeat is just that, we couldn't be happier with choosing them and look forward to using them again in the spring.

Echo heat is a great company to deal with from sales to service .We purchased 2 Dakin heat pumps from this company a few years ago and absolutely no complaints about the products or staff...we have dealt with a service tec.Darren who is very knowledgeable, polite and a valuable staff member I would definitely deal with this company again

Ecoheat made the decision of adding a Daikin heat pump to our home a quick and easy process. Matt was able to professionally explain the benefits in great detail as well as beat our previous quotes. A week later the unit was installed. The installers were running late at their previous job and called with an apologetic update prior to our appointment stating they would arrive ASAP. Upon arrival they were friendly, professional, and again answered any questions we had. They provided a full intro to the unit before cleaning and packing up for the day. Customer service at its finest from Matt, to the install crew, and the office staff, would highly recommend as each interaction was kind!

Every once and awhile hardware let's you down. But that's why we buy local. The EcoHeat team went to bat for us with the manufacturer and didn't leave us hanging even though they no longer represented that product. We ended up with a replacement unit after a lot of effort by Ecoheat. They take their responsibility to customers seriously and remind us why we buy from people who live in our community! Highly recommend them!

We just got our first big winter bill and compared it to last year. We are down 36% in cost plus we have been more comfortable this year than last (even with the extremely cold weather last month)! I have been watching every month the bills to see the true cost benefit and I have been pleasantly surprised that the 30-40% cost reduction that is often spoken about in regards to heat pump installation is being realized by us! We are very happy with our system and with a medium sized home this has made a HUGE difference for us ever since we had it installed end of May 2017. Every year our costs seem to just get higher with last year the worst which is why we decided to switch and try a heat pump. We have a blower downstairs and up and it works amazing - we just leave it at the set temp and rarely ever think about how warm or cold the house it - it is always just comfortable!

An honest review. I am not the person who purchases a product without doing EXTENSIVE research. Learning Daikin is the best product was the easy part, now I had to find a reputable company. I had reps from 3 different companies provide me with quotes and the size of the unit I would require. I will go the extra mile to save a dollar. Ecoheat was the only company who actually provided me with a thorough honest review. Their sales rep Jeff Bishop is the most down to earth person you will meet. He 100% believes in the product he is selling and the company Ecoheat. My wife didn’t know what a mini split was and when Jeff finished explaining the product she not only understood but could explain to to someone else. Here is the big surprise “Ecoheat’s quote was $200.00 higher then the other 2 competitors”. So why did I decide to go with Ecoheat? Jeff was the only rep who provided me with a detailed list of everything and being upfront and honest was more important to him than making a sale. Here is what the two competitors tried to sell me on - I had no room left in my electric panel box and would not give me a straight answer on what they were going to do. One rep told me their electrician could “Gerry rig” something and the other rep said they could drop one of the wires going to one of my baseboard heaters. I asked Jeff if he could just drop one of the wires rather than paying for a sub panel and he said his company does everything to code and if you drop a wire in your wall the wire has to be removed. I guess if I sold my house in the future and the home inspector picked up on this I would have certainly paid more. - Jeff is the only rep who stated I needed a 15000 BTU upstairs and a 15000 BTU downstairs. The other two reps said a 15000 up and no more than a 12000 down. My house has the same square footage on both levels?? I’ve done the research and learned this is what reps do to lower their quotes to undercut their competitors. I have 15 up and down and it’s perfect. - Jeff’s quote was so detailed he had items like a heat trace and explained their usefulness. I asked the competitor about a heat trace and was told “yeah it’s a good idea to have a heat trace to prevent the compressor from freezing up, but that’s going to cost you an extra 100 dollars. Errrr. I’ve never written a review this long. A mini split is an investment that starts paying you back the minute you turn it on. I hope this review takes the worry out of making this investment. If your not convinced, do your research and I know you will come to the same conclusion. Oh, to truly appreciate the integrity of Jeff Bishop you have to meet him. Purchased Heat Pump from EcoHeat which was bought out by Atlantic Air Cleaning Specialists. The purchase included a 12 year parts, LABOUR, and compressor warranty. The unit itself gave us nothing but problems the first year. I've seen us go weeks in the middle of winter waiting for a technician to come. Additional weeks for parts to arrive. But, all issues including diagnostics, we're covered under the labour part of our warranty, so we thought. We were never charged and that almost made up for all of the system problems. That gave us peace of mind that if anything did go wrong at least we didn't have to pay for it. Now, two years later, EcoHeat has been bought out by Atlantic Air Cleaning Specialists and I'm being told that diagnostics are no longer covered under my warranty, and according to EcoHeat they never were. So, new company, new rules, existing EcoHeat customers get shafted in the transition. Bottom line, not happy with the unit, not happy with the service. Not a happy customer. Will take my business elsewhere.

I had been looking for someone to install a heat pump for months. Many companies I contacted either never called back or, if there was an appointment set, didn't show up. The ones that did come in to do an estimate didn't want to deal with my older fuse setup. Quite by accident, I came across an ad for Ecoheat and decided to give it one last try. It was the best move I've ever made! From initial contact to full install was exactly a week. The guys who did the installation were very professional and quite personable. Everything was explained to me in detail (they had to answer a ton of questions), using examples I could relate to. They were neat and tidy and cleaned up after themselves, leaving the place spotless. The unit itself runs very quietly, and the heat it gives out feels much more comfortable than baseboard heat. I was in the habit of only having heat on in the room I was in, but now my entire living space is cozy warm. I would very highly recommend Ecoheat to anyone looking for a heat pump.

The installation was completed professionally on the date promised. We have experienced significant savings on our power bills and the living area was very comfortable even during the brutal winter we came through, although the furnace did kick in during several of the coldest nights in February.

People sometimes forget they are in somebody's home and that children are present and being respectful in the way they handle themselves goes a long way! Top notch service. I called this morning to let them know a concern about my heat pump. They had someone here today at 3pm which was the time i requested not one they told me. The gentleman showed up showed me the problem within 5 min. He cleaned it and had it all back together asap and then told me how to check this myself next time. He also since im new to heat pumps (it was in the house when purchased) told me about warranty. When it was made and somw tips on operation. Props to Erica and the gentleman that came to my home. Top notch service!
