We had a crack in the basement wall and recent thaw and rain resulted in an steady leak. I had to have a large shop vac against the crack running 24hrs a day and needed to empty is every 2-3 hrs. I called a few places and was not given quotes and told it would be 3 to 4 days before someone could come to do the estimate! Luck for me I called sous-sol solutions and was answered by John Karam. I explained situation and he asked for pictures texted to him. He responded within the hour and we were able to workout a time the next day! He really made efforts to find a way to squeeze me in and showed up at 6am and did a great job! No more leak, cleaned up their work area and were very courteous, polite and professional. Highly recommended.

Ive had problems with water and humidity in my basement for years. After re-doing my entire outdoor french drain a few years back, by another company, I was told my problems would be solved forever. Wrong! Water came in again years later, through my basement floor. After having a couple of professionals come in and tell me to re-do my french drain again, I landed on John and boy am I glad I did. He explained to me that we had to do the job from the inside, and put an interior french drain. After noticing he charges a fraction of what other companies estimated for me, I was a bit worried about the quality of work, as he was greatly more cost efficient. I took the "deal" and set a date for the work. Not only did they manage to get me in before the date they had estimated, at my request, but they worked 3 straight days and John and his team were punctual and professional. They not only did a wonderful and clean job, but John was there personally to ensure I was happy every step of the way. When they left, after the job was over, they left my basement very clean. Rare is it when construction companies dont leave a mess, but they didn't! Finally, this work was done last summer and Ive waited until now to post my review; not because I didn't trust John, but because I had to see the drain and its efficiency. Not much water in August. Well now, in March 2020, with all the snow melting and rain fall, let me tell you; those drains are working miracles. Im sitting upstairs and Id swear I have 2 water faucets continuously on in the basement. Our 2 pumps are going off every 3-5 minutes and the basement is DRY and humidity is very low. The equipment he put in place (sump pumps, barrels, piping) are all of excellent quality and we are so happy we picked sous-sol solution to do the job! Don't hesitate to hire John, he delivers!! Last thing, don't be fooled by pricing. John quoted less than half of what his competitor quoted me, and this worried me, kbut I now have proof of the quality and durability of his work and of the equipment he installed. Thanks John and your crew!!

We had a water infiltration in the basement and were panicked to find a crack in our foundation. I reached out to the company after reading several excellent reviews and I quickly understood why everyone was raving about them. John answered every text message, picture and concern before even meeting us. He explained the problem and came with his team in a week to fix the problem. We were worried about them having to excavate outside as our backyard had just been redone. Other companies wanted to come in with an excavator and said they were not responsible for anything they break. John and his team dug by hand and were quick and efficient. Everything in the backyard was back to normal when they left. Everyone is petrified of cracks in a foundation but I feel they wouldn't if they knew John. There are not a lot of people like him, especially in construction. My husband and I are blown away! I cannot recommend this company enough!
