The high winds this past fall blew some shingles off our home so we needed a repair done quickly. Called Reid's Roofing after a few others did not reply at all (one company told us 'too small, no thanks'). Jake came out the next day to fix the issue and also did an inspection nailing down any other loose shingles. Communicated with us every step of the way. I received nine quotes to have my shingles replaced. There were three quotes lower than Reid's but only by $50-$150 lower for a $7800.00 roof. Reid's however was the only Owens Corning preferred installer which means that the Warranty I received was a 50 year non pro rated warranty. Having a non preferred installer, installer do the reroof meant that the warranty was cut considerably. Reid's included all of the extras in the quote, steel valleys new vents and turbo vents, drip trays, etc. Although I told them that I was in no rush they scheduled me in within a few weeks. Due to the rain they did not make it on the day that was set but Calvin (owner) kept in contact with me to let me know what was happening. The crew arrived on a hot Thursday morning and worked like crazy for several hours and completed half of the job. They were all very professional and experienced as they all knew what they were doing. When they were done for the day they packed up and left. No garbage or anything was left behind, very clean. I had bought a cooler full of pop and water and had it on ice for them but they did not touch it until day 2. They just worked. When we arrived home after the job was complete. the roof looked great, and again the yard was left spotless. I would highly recommend Reid;s for your roofing project. Considering the additional warranty you get with the certified installer they were by far the best price and value out of the nine quotes. They are also certified installers for GAF and Malarkey but I wanted to go with the OC Durations after reading numerous reviews.

Can’t say enough about how pleased I was with this whole company, starting with Pete coming over to give the estimate . We had quite a few neighbours in our community that had the same problem with our Exhaust fans over the stove dripping in the winter. He quickly came out gave us all estimates. He knew exactly what the problem was. Today his crew came and were so very very friendly, did the job quickly which I appreciate so much. I recently had Reid's Roofing come to repair some damaged soffits on my house. They remained in close contact, worked around my schedule, and were professional the whole time. They even had to make two trips because I had to deal with a wasp infestation before they could finish the job, and they stuck to their original quote without charging me for the additional trip, even though the oversight was really my fault. I will 100% be using them in the future.

Saw Justin and apprentice do a fantastic looking job with composite material on my neighbour’s roof. They were quick and clean on three very hot days. I then saw them go next door and repair the neighbors’ cedar shakes. Great idea I thought. My shakes could use the same! So I asked Justin if he could do mine as well. He told me he be right over and give me a great price. Trusting fool I am I said okay and didn’t agree on a price before hand. 15 mins later he was finished and wanted $100 !! Said he was poor and had to get by. I was choked. That’s $400 an hour to hammer some nails. Caveat emptor. Beware of these folks. I got taken and feel lousy for not objecting. Well I won’t be calling this roofer for an estimate. I’ll need a new roof in a year or two.

I wish I could post photos with this review. First, their scrap trailer was parked on our front lawn for a long period of time. When they back it up they broke two branches off our tree. The mess that was left was unacceptable for any company that remotely cares about safety, repeat customers and perception. There were shingle scraps with nails sticking out, nails all over the deck and front lawn. Today, discovered the 20+ nails that drained from eavestroughs. Our condo unit was also not the only one to experience this. It’s a good thing no one or pet had stepped on one of the many nails.

I had a great experience from the quoting stage to the finished product. They were very professional all the way through. They cleaned up the site perfectly and were pleasant to have around. I had 4 quotes from different companies and found the prices to be similar. I choose the Malarkey shingles and they look great. I was also very pleased that everything was included, there were no add ons or surprises. This company is here to stay, highly recommend!!

I had them give me a quote on replacing eaves on my house. Appeared to be a good price so i hired them. They came to check the color which i thought would have been done when they did the quote. Work was to begin the next day. Work was not done and no phone call to explain why. They finally called to schedule for the next week. Work was completed and final inspection was done. Problem was they did not do one section of the house. These eaves were in very bad shape so it was obvious they should be replaced. I was told they were not included in the quote.Very unprofessional and unreliable.

They scheduled job when it was convenient for my family and I. I shopped around in the fall of 2016, Calvin was the only company to followed up with me. In the spring of 2017 he followed up again 6 months later. He gave me a better deal in the spring to earn my business. I shopped his price around a second time and nobody else could beat their deal. His professionalism was nice as the other companies just didn't seem to care, I shopped 3 other companies! The installers did a good job and the manager was sent to inspect after job after it was done. The eves installers did a great job and helped my wife with her rain barrel. THX everyone at Reids. We hired Reid's to side/stone/window cap/fascia/soffits and eavestroughing. 1/2 way through the front of our house being completed, we were hit by a servere hail storm. Reid's went above and beyond to help us out! We ended up having Reid's do the roof, skylight, windows, siding , stone, fascia, soffits , eavesthroughing and attic insulation. The work crews were exceptional in everyway and we highly recommend Reid's for anything that you need done. After 5 years of on and off problems with moisture issues coming from the attic, paying for the services of various inspectors and contractors, fighting with the builder and ultimately paying to top up the insulation in the attic of our new home - we recently noticed new water marks on our stiple ceiling during the last cold spell. Reid Roofing was recommended by one of our neighbours and, since Reid's deals with both roofing and insulation, we hired them. Henry of Reid's did an inspection of our attic. We paid extra for his report and his numerous photos of where the moisture problems are coming from. I won't go into detail but, basically, the top-up spray insulation we had to pay the Bulder for, had missed whole areas of the attic. Some of the problems previous inspections showed were still there. A number of pot-light covers were exposed, insulation batting not laying flat, sections that were missed with the spray-in insulation and so on. Henry re-arranged the insulation to cover exposed areas and feels this might be enough to prevent further issues. He also provided advice should this happen again: they would have to remove all insulation in the one problem area of the attic, seal around any areas of concern and re-insulate that section of the attic. Now we know! I would highly recommend this company for roofing, attic and insulation needs.

Mark is a Magician on the roof no doubt, mind-blowing actually. I never at any point and time felt "sold to" and the prices were fair. No unnecessary upselling, just good old fashioned quality service with full and tidy clean up in a timely fashion. I highly recommend Reid's. They were professional and as fast as they could be (good old mother nature)to have the job completed. Jessica(owner) came to place the sing in the yard and had a really good chat with her (so nice) and she also told me when the product would come and it came when I was told. The crew had the job done in 1 day. The crew was very respectful and cleaned up after themselves and I have not found 1 nail or screw left behind (had to check cause I have dogs). Tamara (in office) called to make sure everything was going well and that I was happy(she's awesome!)as the job was being done and I felt like that was amazing and shows they really do care. It’s late November in St. Albert, and we just had Reid’s replace the shingles on our roof. Their service was outstanding, right from the beginning. We had them do an inspection first, which came with 20 or so pictures, and recommendations. Next, the office staff helped us select style and colour for the new shingles. And finally the work staff arrived early on a Monday morning, and by Tuesday afternoon were finished. Throughout the workers were friendly and polite; the job site was cleaned up thoroughly, and we are more than happy with the results. We would highly recommend Reid’s Roofing for your next job.

We had Reid's Roofing out to replace our facia, eavestroughs and an old 1970s skylight this past August (2020). The workers were great, friendly and professional. The skylight replacement (new triple glazed flat unit) took longer than expected but they did the job properly. We no longer have to put vapor barrier up during the winter to prevent ice buildup (inside the skylight) which lead to water problems on the inside ceiling in the early spring. The remote controlled blind on the skylight also make a big difference in the family room when we want to block some light.

Huge Shout Out to Reid’s Roofing Ltd!! I called them at 8:30 this morning about water leaking, down the outside of my furnace exhaust pipe, from the roof. It was reshingled in March, I purchased the house in April. That roofer won’t respond to my calls or texts. But Reid’s did and by 12:30 my roof was inspected, problem located, quote given and work done. At a very responsible price. Incredible response and service. From my experience I highly recommend this company. A very happy customer.

Called one company to come replace some Siding but was told it wasn’t worth their time bc it was too small of a job. Called Reid’s roofing on a Thursday and by Monday had the installer out and the siding replaced. The colour match is great and the work that was done was outstanding!!! Definitely recommend them for siding and roof replacement (had our roof done a couple of years ago!!!)

Work was well done, the team that did the work was polite and hard working. I made a mistake in colour choice of gutter and they were really great in understanding and changing the colour selection a few days out of the install. Small opportunity on communication as there were minor miss alignments between the crew and company on what and when, but the weather was the main culprit in that as schedules were being updated. Reid's was super responsive whenever there was a question and had an answer within 15 min. Reid's gutter guy was amazing, he took the time to walk the house and make suggestions and recommendations to ensure that downspouts were in the right place and we had the right amount. He even walked me through proper placement of rain barrels. Would I recommend them, yes. Would I use them again, yes. Over all great experience and the roof looks great

Because we were extremely satisfied with the service we received a year or so ago when Reid's Roofing replaced our attic insulation due to roof ice damming, we called the company again to replace the shingles on a small backyard shed. Expecting that the job may be too small to interest them, we were very pleased to receive a quote within a few days and a work date for 1 week later at the end of September 2021. Henry arrived on schedule, was pleasant, respectful, and knowledgeable. While he was working alone, he was diligent, careful of the surrounding plants, and left the area as clean as when he had arrived. The job was finished within a few hours. Reid's Roofing replaced our shingles and eavestroughs earlier this month. The whole process from initial quote to finish was very professional.
