I would not recommend this company. The previous owner had the shingles done on my house the year before I moved in. The next year shingles started flying off my house. I phoned them and they would not cover the warranty because they said if there is winds over a certain KM warranty is void. Yet other people in my area that had shingles done recently are not seeing shingles come off the house like mine. I had to phone another company to come and fix the issues.

We are repeat customers of Wheatland and have referred family and friends to them. The workmanship is very good and the crews are courteous and professional. My sole gripe with this company is their credit card policy. The sales person neglected to highlight the fact that there is 3% upcharge to pay by credit card. This is on the bottom of the quote but it was not pointed out during the sales pitch. When we called in to pay, the reason given for the charge is that they can’t afford to bear the costs of customers using a credit card just so they can get their points. I get it but it's a tactless way to put it to a customer. Follow up. Mike the owner contacted my wife to apologize for the confusion and refunded the upcharge immediately. I appreciate his attention to customer service.

We had both our house and Garage reshingled. Salesman was great and one reason we went with the company. Price was about the same as other quotes but my wife liked the salesman better than the others so... They gave us a timeframe for starting and were able to start over a week earlier which was good. Workers showed up on time and were great to deal with. Fast competent work. I really like that this company is one of the only ones that use a membrane under the shingles on the whole house and Garage. Most others will simply run a single strip of tar paper along the eaves but I preferred a complete membrane. Cleanup was really good after the job was finished. Salesman was around a couple of times while the work was being done and brought us the bill. Overall, very pleased with the work and the workers.

Wheatland roofing was quick to get us an estimate and responded to every question/concern we had. They made us feel comfortable with the entire process. When I got home from work on the day of the install, the installers asked if I had any questions/concerns and answered everything I asked. Then when the roof was done, the extra effort the team did to check, double check and triple check the area for any scraps and loose nails was more then I would have ever expected after spending 12 hours on a hot and windy roof. Recently Wheatland Roofing replaced our roof. We started the process by identifying the possible companies to contact us with a quote. We had established a list of items which we would consider when determining the successful company. These were. 1) Price 2) References 3) No sub contractor 4) Liability insurance 5) Compensation letter of clearance 6) Employee experience 7) Job site cleanup 8) Seniors discount. We met with a company representative and he came prepared with the appropriate documentation, he inspected the roof, gave us recommendations. A quote was sent to us the following day. To our surprise Wheatland gave us the lowest quote. The work was done by the crew was on time, professional and every piece of excess material was picked up. The new roof looks great. Wheatland Roofing is a professional company. I can’t understate this. The company performs at a very high level. Honestly if I were to do this again I would not bother inviting other companies. I was heading out of town for a few weeks when I became aware of a major issue with my roof. Taylor came to do my quote when it fit my tight schedule and we did the rest via email as I was out of town. They replaced my roof while I was away, kept in contact regularly so I knew what progress was made and it was all done right before we got our first snow. I want to share my latest experience with wheatland roofing. I understand that when there is a bad storm, everyone is busy. But when a company does not show up after a number of calls promising to be there that is not good customer service. I saw this companies truck at my neighbours and thought I should ask if they were here to look at mine too cause I was in their list. This individual was extremely rude and hostile. Told me he didn’t have time to look at my roof and if I didn’t like it I could call someone else. Well that is what I did and the reason for this review is to let everyone know that they should call someone else. They are not interested in our business.

Although initial communication and set up of the our job was decent, once the work began the quality of their service dropped significantly. The crew took long breaks daily, threw cigarette butts in our yard, didn't clean up nails very well, forgot tools, and exhibited poor workmanship in many places. Calls and texts to our representative about unsafe practices (not tying off) went on deaf ears, keeping our anxiety high hoping no one would get hurt at our house. Lucky a couple good 'inspector' type employees came to fix all our issues and they admitted the crew screwed up in many areas of the job. This crew was 'the best crew' as per our representative at Wheatland which now makes me shake my head and laugh. And to end our relationship by arguing over your miscommunication is petty. Glad the boss knows the importance of customer service Update: Now my roof is leaking in 2 separate areas causing drywall damage! I have contacted a company that has properly trained staff and I’m very happy with there services. I have to pay out of my pocket I’m not happy.

Wheatland Roofing installed new shingles for me in October, 2020. They showed up when agreed upon and did the job efficiently. They did a very good job cleaning up. I was impressed that after they were done, they sent a very experienced roofer to inspect the work done. Besides checking to make sure everything was OK, he even picked up a few more nails and pieces of the old shingles. I feel confident that I will not have any troubles with my new shingles for many years.

After the storm in August, my friends referred me to your company to get repairs done on my roof due to wind/hail damage. First I did the online free estimate and submitted request at the beginning of September. Knowing that they were busy due to the storm and etc but I received no call. A week or so I called on September 16th the office and again left name and number to set up someone to come out and give me an estimate. She took my information and told they are busy but someone will contact you. Still to this day haven't hear from anyone. It's such a disappointment when your friends say they had great service which I had no service. A call would have been nice.

Communication was subpar to say the least. 1) They were supposed to show up on a certain day, no show. I call in the afternoon to ask why they haven’t shown up, I get put on hold for 20+ minutes (long enough for them to come up with a story) then I get an “oops” type of excuse. They admit to a mistake of communication on their end then show up on another day. I’m a shift worker so that was a big inconvenience for me as I was in between night shifts the day the ended up showing up and got zero sleep before going into work that night because of how loud the the process is. 2) I found about 15-20 roofing nails around our house, on the driveway and one in my truck tire along with little pieces of shingles (a dozen or so) scattered around our house as well. Clean up was poor. 3) Make sure that you have the money put aside to pay for your roof work being done. To make things easy we were just going to pay by credit card and transfer the money to our card right away. To pay by credit card they charge an extra 3% of the total on your invoice. All that 3% is just extra money to put in their pocket. I feel bad for the people who that is their only means of paying for the work. That would add hundreds onto the final cost. When asked why they charge that they said “it’s in the contract.” Yes it’s in the contract but hidden under “convenience fee.” However they do accept cheque or e-transfer which we did e-transfer. What place doesn’t accept credit card? Just another way to squeeze a little more money out of the customer.

Had a garage and shed roofed with Wheatland. Really happy! Super down to earth guys, no pressure sales. The experience was awesome from start to finish. They may not be the cheapest, but I had total piece of mind with their service and the quality of the work itself. They're clearly experts with no cutting corners! (They use real plywood with repairs, not lower grade OSB wood.) Highly recommended! ????????

We decided it was time to replace our cedar shake roof at this time. We felt due diligence was needed and started the process by obtaining a number of quotes. We were looking for a product that would compliment the house. We had the pleasure of dealing with Rod at Wheatland. He gave us a number of different quotes, allowing us to decide what price point and quality of shingle we wanted. There were no unexpected costs. The work crew was friendly, hard working and nicely removed all debris. When the job was complete we were very happy with the result. We recently had our roof replaced and not only did we get new shingles, Wheatland ensured that all deficiencies in the roof were fixed. Our venting situation was corrected, a gooseneck vent was added for a new bathroom fan, and the flashing around our chimney was repaired to name a few of the repairs. More important than our roof being re-done, Wheatland made sure it was done right and looks great. Mike, Alison, Turner, Victoria and Kris were all an absolute pleasure to work with and it was evident that they are experts in their field. It is clear to me why they are industry leaders. Wheatland Roofing did an amazing job for us in June 2021 reshingling our multi-leveled roof in Regina. I obtained three quotes in advance. Wheatland was the most competitive, but most importantly, included all of the variables in their quote - number of vents, quality of shingle, etc. - whereas competitors' quotes included several possible price increases for "if this, then this $". The installation went as quoted except as dictated by weather conditions. The final price was as quoted with no surprises. The crew cleaned up very well, there were no nails or trash left around the yard. Are most importantly, the final product looks fabulous! Great job Wheatland Roofing!

My experience with Wheatland Roofing was smooth and stress free. A powerful wind storm earlier this year put the final nail in the coffin for my 20 year old shingles, and caused some minor damage to the wood itself, leaving me with leaks along most of the South side of my roof. The crew worked right through the blistering heat to get the job done in one day, with the exception of the chimney flashing, which was completed early the following morning. When they finished, they tidied up very well; almost as if they had never been here. With the weather being as dry as it has been recently, the job has yet to really be tested, but it looks great, and I have no reason to believe it will be anything but perfect. I also had my gutters replaced. The crew that Wheatland Roofing employed to do that was also first class and had the job done quickly and it looks great as well. With no rain, I can't know if f there are any issues yet, but they appear to be very well installed. I am very comfortable recommending Wheatland Roofing if you find yourself needing similar work done.

I contacted Wheatland with an issue that we were having with another company on some wind/storm damage from the January wind storm. I had a response in 10 mins getting all the details and then received a phone call from Victoria to get some more information on what we needed. The guys came out to fix our shingles the next day at 8am! Something that should have been done MONTHS ago, but got a run around from the other company. We will be using Wheatland for all of our roofing needs moving forward! Professional, great communication and excellent service for a fraction of the cost of what we were being charged from the other company. We truly have nothing but good things to say about Wheatland! Seems like good work, time will tell, I guess. Certainly not the cheapest but they also take safety seriously; professional, Friendly staff, was a bit difficult to get in touch for a while but that seems to be sorted out.

Lost shingles in the Jan/21 hurricane blizzard. Contacted Wheatland, they replied within 24 hours with appointment time. Crew showed on that date, repairs completed, pictures and report supplied to insurance Company promptly. Job well done! Would recommend for two reasons professional customer service and professional trained - customer orientated roofers.

We got an estimate and was impressed with the sales guy he seemed to know what he was talking about there is a few things I was not a fan of. It's a toss up who to go with they seem to much like salesmen and that worries me a bit.
