Hybrid renovated our kitchen in March 2018. Overall, they were an easy company to work with, staff were very knowledgeable, came on time each day, cleaned up after each day of work before leaving. They actually finished the majority of the renovation ahead of schedule, with just a couple minor things that were completed within the month later. Any concerns we had were with the subcontractors - gas and electricity - they left a mess behind, didn't show up when supposed to move gas line, etc, but Hybrid tried hard to smooth things over. If we have any future renovations, we would definitely consider Hybrid again.

Jason's people renovated our second-floor bathroom. He and one of his technicians looked over it, analysed the layout, and identified challenges. On that basis, he brought us a couple of proposals, beautifully presented on his laptop so that we could see how the bathroom would look with different tiles, countertops, cabinetry, and so forth. Once we signed on, COVID hit the market and some of the building materials became scarce. Jason rather heroically managed to get everything for our bathroom. Once the work started, we had two teams working on the renovation, with people tearing out the old stuff, and then other people coming in quickly to do the electricity, plumbing, cabinetry, and so forth. In just a few days we found ourselves enjoying a snazzy new bathroom. A detail: when they put in the mirror, they found a minute scratch in its corner. We hadn't seen it and could have lived with it, but Jason had it replaced--the man's invested in the quality of his work!

The service and attention to detail that Hybrid put into our shower renovation was phenomenal. After stripping back the walk in shower space to the studs and tearing away around 15-20 years of bad shower renovation choices from previous house owners, they were able to bring things up to standard, deal with moisture and mold, addressed a couple other problems that had been hidden behind the walls, and ultimately installed one of the nicest showers we've ever had. The clean white and black grout subway tile look from the surround has a great look in our space. We couldn't be happier!

These guys are absolutely amazing. We thought our bathroom was beyond redemption. They took a room where there was extensive damage including structural and black mold and transformed it. They went above and beyond as well in making a partition between the bathroom and the furnace and water heater. The lines are all very organic and flowing. The husband and I signed on for a quick bathroom fix and instead we got the bathroom of our dreams. If I could give these guys more stars, I would. I HIGHLY recommend them.

It was the first project we were involved in together and was a very old home where his team did some exceptional work to restore the original look and feel of the building. We hired Jason and his team for our kitchen remodel in February/March 2021. Jason was very responsive and tweaked our quote for us a few times prior to us deciding to move ahead. He listens and takes his customer's questions seriously and is very attentive. We also worked with a designer to hep us come up with colour and tile schemes, along with flooring - all at Hybrid's recommendation and expense. This was our first major renovation, and while stressful at times, Jason was there to discuss any concerns and ensure we were happy with how things were progressing. We would definitely consider Hybrid again in the future and have no hesitation in recommending them.

This is the second renovation of our downstairs bathroom in the last decade. The first time out we were pretty naïve and the contractor we selected did the work quickly and badly and with inferior materials, which is why we had to do it again. This time out it was a much different experience. Jason Daum and his team have done a fabulous job! Despite some adversity brought on by having to observe COVID precautions -- which the workers did very well -- and having to run in and out of the house in the coldest winter weather of the year -- the Hybrid team tackled the work with enthusiasm and skill. The inevitable problems of having to work in a tight downstairs space were solved smoothly. And my wife and I were impressed with the good humour and patience of Jason's lead guy on this job, Ron, as he answered our many questions as the build progressed. We ended up with a much better bathroom reno than we had before and done with way better materials and care, too. So, if you need work done at your place, we're happy to recommend Hybrid Renovations.

Hybrid Renovations and Restorations have completed two major renovations our our home, as well as other smaller projects along the way. The first project was a complete renovation of our kitchen/living room to change it into to an open concept space; as well as completely renovate our bathroom. The second project was to transform our garage into a 3 seasons room with attached entry way. Both projects exceeded our expectations! I would highly recommend their services and will have them back for any future projects. Some excellent reasons to choose this company: 1.) Jason is always available to answer questions, make suggestions and come up with solutions. He has a great eye for detail and overall aesthetics. He is budget conscious and works within what is realistic for your project price. He has very good customer service standards and was able to meet all of my expectations. 2.) The work crew showed up on time, often early, and were professional with their presence on the job site. They were all very friendly and respectful to the homeowners. I appreciated having such a great crew, as I was at home with young children during the renovation. 3.) The work crew cleans up after themselves at the end of each day and ensures that nothing is left dirty, unsafe or disorganized. It was nice to have things tidy at the end of the day so you could still function in your space despite a major renovation happening. 4.) The first project Hybrid did for us was an SGI claim as a result of an ice damn. Jason was able to help us navigate the insurance system, understand why the damage had occurred and maximize what we could do to restore our home. He took the stress off of dealing with insurance paperwork. 5.) Hybrid has a wide variety of professionals on staff/subcontracted and was able to complete the entire project without us having to hire others. They are a one stop company that can deliver on everything from construction, electrical, windows, painting, cement, etc. - we hired them and they did everything else. This saved us so much time and headache. This was especially evident when they opened up the walls to find some original builder issues and were able to fix the unexpected problem within their own resources. I would highly recommend Hybrid Renovations and Restorations. They have been excellent to work with and I will have them back for any future projects on our home.

Hybrid has done 2 projects for us. They built us a 4 season sunroom and then did a renovation project: kitchen counters, a new inside window, new bathroom flooring and new railings. I cannot say enough about the quality and service. It is often difficult to get contractors to come back and fix or finish the little things you notice but not Hybrid, Jason makes sure you are 100% satisfied before he closes the project. I'd highly recommend them. One particular thing that stood out is how clean they left everything every day. I kept saying, "Don't worry about it you're back tomorrow." But nope, it's standard for Hybrid's people to clean up at the end of each day so the disruption is minimized. Loved that.

I only gave four stars because communication was a huge issue for me from the time of consultation to starting of work. Once the work started it was very good, they ensured that the work area was cleaned up at the end of the day. They were friendly and worked very hard to complete the job within a short time frame. The owner of the business was very responsive when I had questions or concerns. My only recommendation would be to be able to view the actual products (fixtures and fittings) prior to purchasing and installation. The book showing the products is very nice but I am a tactile person so I like to see the products in person rather than just a picture. I would highly recommend this company and will use them again for future projects. The cost was within what was expected and payment options worked well for me. I love my new bathroom and look forward to updating the rest of my house.

We needed a bathroom reno for our very old and outdated shower and sink for our small, awkwardly sized basement bathroom. Jason met with us and walked us through options and how the process would be completed. Everything was ordered and arrived in the discussed timeline. We decided on a new built in shower and vanity with new sink and taps. Our install took 3 days as they took out the old shower and sink first. It’s looks fabulous! Our install had a couple of hiccups and these were mutually discussed and rectified in a timely manner. Deciding to update the master bath is a major decision, and deciding who to hire is the next big decision you need to make. After a couple of interesting estimates I saw a Hybrid work trailer and decided to give them a call. Jason came over and we were impressed with his attitude and knowledge. We were looking for a bathroom that was functional, not over the top, and he recommended fixtures and accessories that fit our budget while looking good. The installation team was fun to work with and they did a lot of little things during the renovation that a person might not have thought of, but added a finishing touch to that particular piece. This was very evident when they designed a frame to go around the original built-in medicine cabinet. The one minor issue we encountered was that some changes, made earlier by us, was not confirmed with the install crew. However, these were caught in time and work continued on without delay. I would highly recommend that you give Jason a call and decide for yourself if Hybrid is the right company for the job you have in mind.

I had a summer room enclosure built on the back of my house seven years ago. It faces onto a park so I wanted something that looked professionally done. I have had many compliments over the years. I leave the door open from the main house into this addition and it adds an extension to my indoor living space for guests and entertaining . It is not insulated but very usable for about five months of the year. I have screens that can be opened during warm summer days. I have only had one occasion to contact the company for service. They came out promptly and resolved the issue. I highly recommend this company for their work and service.

After calling to request a quote, Brenda came to my house and took the time to go through numerous options and ideas I had never even considered. We were going to put a fireplace in our upstairs and also put a bathroom in the basement, which led to doing the full basement reno with a hot tub and wet dry sauna. To get the hot tub in had to take out a wall which led to french doors and revamp of back entry, steps and flooring. So you can see one thing led to another. Our 1953 house doesn’t have any square walls, but Francesco did a great job of making everything fit properly and look good. We recently renovated our basement shower and I had to install a round glass shower door. I reached out to Hybrid Construction as I had heard that they did great work. The owner of the company texted back within a day of reaching out and was more than accommodating to make sure that that the work would be done on time. Hybrid said they would be there Monday morning and would phone to confirm 15 minutes before they would arrive. At 8:30 a.m. I received a call from the installer telling me he would be at our house at 8:45. The installer and his helper arrived right on time. I showed them the job space and 3 hours later they had the job completed. Installing a glass round shower door is not an easy task and I was impressed on how great it look and how smooth the process went. The price I was quoted was the price I paid. Thank you Hybrid for the outstanding job you crew preformed on the renovation.

My husband and I were embarrassed when company had to use our basement washroom. It was very small; it had a carpet covering what seemed to be a floor drain...right in front of the toilet; and the shower was very much in need of a make-over. We met with Jason Daum and shared our concerns. Nothing seemed to be impossible, as far as he was concerned. They tore down the old walls, and luckily discovered that there were two old pipes behind the walls that were badly corroded. Had we not had the work done, we would have had a huge surprise! The team from Hybrid Renovations moved one of the walls slightly and added the pocket door we had asked for, giving us more room in the washroom.(Previously, the door opened right in front of the toilet.) The dated shower was replaced with a lovely shower with a glass sliding door. The ceiling tiles were replaced with updated tiles and a fan, which we didn’t have previously. The floor drain, which had been capped, was filled in, and the rug was replaced with tiles. The vanity, toilet, sink and mirror medicine cabinet were updated, and the washroom was brought up to code. Finally, Jason set up a very reasonable payment plan for us. We are thrilled with the ‘new’ basement washroom! Jason Daum and the two wonderful employees who worked on the washroom were amazing! We would highly recommend them! As a matter of fact, when we decide to get a sunroom or a garage built, Hybrid Renovations & Restorations would be the company we would choose! Thanks again, Jason!

So we decided to do our main bathroom this year as we were doing flooring and painting. We contacted hybrid renovation and it started out ok. The quote was good and even though they didn’t have a lot of fixture options we decided to go ahead. Communication was not the best and the start date was pushed back a week. The guys that came were very friendly and respectful of the house putting tarps down and cleaning up every day. The things I will have to live with are the scratches in the shower stall, the way they finished the bottom of the cupboard, the fact that the cupboard is not centred, The medicine cabinet was put on with only one screw into a stud and no anchor in the other three, there were extra holes in the cabinet from missed screw attempts. The medicine cabinet was not level and the light they installed is not centred. I would not use them again and not recommend them to friends or family.

The bathroom finished better than we could have imagined, but what impressed us the most was the attention given to protecting our home. Every surface where workers would be was covered in a durable protective membrane, when the plumbers needed a staging area to setup the tub, extra drop clothes were brought in, after demo was completed the site was debris free and all the workers seemed nice and professional. They organized everything from the electricity, to the plumbing, to the painting, to the color schemes, to the flooring, and the complete layout. Great company. Jason and his crew are fabulous. They came into my home and promptly renovated out main bathroom. They took everything out and put everything new back in. Highly recommend. Our one bathroom project became 3 different renovations. Jason always listened well to my ideas and was able to install 2 new windows in my basement. Jason and his crew took out and replaced our gutters.
