We hired Collaborative for our main floor renovation that included new flooring, a new kitchen, cabinets and island, and various other jobs related to the renovation. From the first meeting to the last, they were very easy to work with and provided great advice on the direction to be able to make our design ideas a reality. We primarily worked directly with Derek and James and they were highly responsive, knowledgeable, understanding, and very hard-working. As the general contractor, Collaborative took care of everything with the specialized trades and dealt immediately with any issues that popped up along the way. The scope of work was quite extensive and we felt that that they always had a complete grasp of the project and were on top of everything throughout the process. Our project ran mainly on referrals, and everyone involved was top notch and very easy to work with. The timeline that was provided was followed very closely and in several instances was ahead of schedule, even with the relatively large number of people and companies involved. The workmanship is incredible and everything looks even better than expected. Collaborative's name really describes their approach to construction and we felt included at all points, with some of the smaller jobs being done by myself. Overall we had an incredibly positive experience working with Collaborative and highly recommend them.

After moving into an older home in the Cathedral neighbourhood of Regina, we were fully expecting to need to do some renovations, but we certainly didn't think we'd be dealing with a chunk of our house beginning to... Fall off? After a few other companies had a hard time figuring out what was going on, the guys at Collaborative Construction saw that we had some failing cantilevers. They were very quick to get us a (very reasonable) quote for the work and were able to get it done in a single day. As their name suggests, they worked with us to explain parts of the job that I could probably just do or at least get started on myself that would lower the cost of the job - and their profit. Very refreshing. I really enjoyed working with Collaborative Construction and we will be going to them in the future for the renovations we actually planned on doing!

To say it quickly--Collab does quality work and has a great crew. We bought our home knowing we wanted to do a main floor/kitchen renovation and Collab made it possible. As first time home owners we weren't sure what we were stepping into so having a crew we could trust was important for us. Derek, James, and Nick (along with all the others) were all great to work with. Throughout the whole process they always went above-and-beyond, and were professional and creative in their work. From bringing layout ideas that we had not considered to our beautiful herringbone tile backsplash that we were not expecting (Thanks Nick and crew!..I still stare at the backsplash and butcher block combo for extended periods of time). Throughout all stages they were great to work with, very considerate, and did quality work. Could not recommend them more as a construction company and as people.

We were very lucky to have Derek and crew come in and design/ renovate our kitchen and main floor area. We are 2+ months living with our new kitchen and love love love it. Doesn't take much time to realize Derek has a lot of knowledge and ideas so we depended on him a lot and we are thankful we did. When the crew came in they were excellent - hard workers and got the job done in a timely manner. A nice surprise was that they came in under budget. We will definately be getting them back to do our next reno - what ever that may be.
