Great Canadian did a wonderful job on my new roof. It was easy to get the contract and choices made with Tim. The workers arrived on time and worked long days. We had snow on the ground by that time and they did their absolute best to dig through to find every bit of leftovers. It is reassuring to know that they have committed to returning in the spring to make sure they got all the garbage/nails etc. Good work , good people and efficient. Thank you.

We used them to get our roof and eavestrough done in July 2020 and they did a fantastic job. The work was done quickly and no payment was required until the roof was completed which was great. They cleaned up the area afterwards and ensured that everything was checked before and after the work was done. There was an argument between a couple of the workers on site, however the foreman and manager both contacted me to apologize right away for this incident which was much appreciated. After a long day people can be irritable and I felt the professionalism of both of these people to apologize for the incident was great and made me feel that they cared about their company and reputation. Unfortunately I can't give half stars so my opinion is 4.5 stars and I would recommend Great Canadian Roofing to anyone who needs roof or eavestrough work.

This company only wants large jobs and are not interested in doing repair work. I was wanting some siding to be repaired that they didn’t originally install (newer home). Looked like they have decent reviews and do good work (which is why I sought them out) but only if you can provide a job big enough to interest them. It’s too bad because now when I want my roof replaced in a couple of years I will not consider this business. Thought I might save someone a phone call if you are looking for the same.

Very professional group! The work crew worked hard during 2 1/2 days of heat warnings. All of the crew were polite, friendly and willing to accommodate. Even the banter between individuals as they worked was respectful and free of unnecessary profanity. So impressed with their attitude, as well as the speed and quality of their work. I would recommend this company to anyone.

I scheduled shingled replacement late last fall, but weather prevented work at that time. I was pleasantly surprised to get a call from them to schedule the work to be done already (early spring). It only took 2 days for a professional strip & installation. They could've added some sheeting replacement for an additional fee, and I wouldn't have known better as I wasn't on hand for the installation. (Could have, but didn't!!!" Highly recommended company.

This company was our insurance company's preferred contractor for repairs due to hail damage. The initial repairs were poorly scheduled and completed unsatisfactorily. After several months and numerous telephone calls, I was referred to Matt in the Edmonton office. He promptly met with us to discuss our concerns and scheduled a date to repair the damage. The repairs were done efficiently and professionally to our satisfaction. I would use Matt and his crew for future repairs.

I hired Great Canadian Roofing and Siding to replace all my windows, and frame in a new door for me.They were very professional from start to finish, and dealing with the sales process was easy and quick. I got everything that I wanted from them in the functionality of my new windows, as well as the new door I always dreamed of having in my dining room. There installer was very clean and professional and trustworthy. I was even able to have him replace all my baseboards and interior trims to a more modern style. I would HIGHLY recommend dealing with Great Canadian Roofing and Siding!!

This summer we had a hail storm in our area, Great Canadian was the insurance companies recommended contractor. We found them easy to deal with. Regan was the sales person we dealt with and we found he was knowledgeable and kept us informed of what was going to happen on our home. Office staff and the installers were a pleasure to deal with. Worst contractor I have ever dealt with! They were my insurance companies preferred vender for dealing with re shingling my house after the hail storm in central Alberta. The one day shingling job took 2 weeks for them to complete since they would either forget supplies or not show up till middle of the afternoon. The garbage bin for the shingles sat in my yard for almost 2 months between initial drop off date and when it was picked up. They ordered the wrong color drip edge which I noticed after the front of the house was done already. They refused to replace it with the correct color as it would be "to much work" (words from their guy who does the final inspection). The fascia that was being replaced do to hail damaged looked worse after it was replaced than the hail damage. They did come out and replace their poor work with this, but only after I told them I would not sign the completion form until they had. We had removed pictures and such from our walls as everyone knows there will be some possible movement with all that work taking place. What was not expected was the amount of force the roofers threw the shingle bundles around with... We have a home built in the 70's which means it is 2x4 stick framed. The force these guys unloaded the shingles with left our drywalled ceiling cracked throughout the house. All in all it took the whole summer for them to totally complete the job. The guys who initially went over things with us were out of the Calgary office which seemed to be a very professional run business (would do business with them if I lived in Calgary), but dealing with the Red Deer office was a nightmare. When we did not sign the satisfaction completion form we had a very unprofessional message left on our phone to send it to them. We since have sent the form, but crossed out the satisfied section. I am a fairly easy going person and will usually give people the benefit of the doubt, but this company has crossed the line for me.

Damage from a wind storm resulted in a emergency roof repair, which was dispatched and completed next day. Regan met with us promptly after claim approval to discuss options and upgrades. When finalized, roof was completed as per the agreed terms and schedule(between snowstorms). The work was completed to high quality standards, and cleanup was very thorough. I found Great Canadian representatives to be very professional and knowledgeable. Overall, a pleasure to deal with. I would choose them again.

I just had a great experience I would like to share with you. As you know picking the right Contractor for any renovation can be a scary these days. Lol I got a few estimates but 1 really stood out in many ways from the get go. First of all Great Canadian's price was very fair but more than that it was the little things from the get go. When I first called them the phone was answered on the first ring by a friendly voice and I had an appointment set up in just a minute or two. The estimator showed up on time, listened to all my thoughts and concerns about the project and then set my mind at ease with easy to understand explanations regarding my concerns and then even offered me some ideas that I hadn't considered. I think the part that surprised me the most is that the estimate was done before he left my house so we could go over it together right then. I chose Great Canadian for these reasons hoping that these are the signs of a good Contractor. Well I was right. From the scheduling of the job to the crew that showed up and worked long hours to get the job done, everything was great. I really liked the fact that they did a good clean up at the end of every day and were back bright and early to get started again. This is a great company and I would highly suggest to anyone to call them for your siding renovation.
