I am middle-age man who grew along-side Central Builders’, in my youth, and watch it prosper successfully. Though, as with age, bitterness does seem to catch up with you and that seems to be the case with this store. I recommended my nephew to work At Central Builders’ Supply, and boy that was a mistake. He told me how cheap and despicable they can be to their employees’, and how they value their customers over their workers. It makes me sick to my stomach that I thought such a well-respected store would be the best suite for my nephew, only to find that it was utterly not. From where I am standing, this local store is no longer going to be supported by me and my wife for the way they handle their staff.

I get pellets for my wood stove here. Only once have they been piled beautifully, neatly and thoughtfully in my pick up. Normally, they're just kind of tossed in there, sometimes with the odd hole ripped in a bag or thin spots where they almost tore through the bag. I don't like to stereotype but it seems mostly young guys working in the warehouse, they need to be trained to take better care because they don't think to on their own. I shouldn't have to supervise or do it myself. A few more minutes of effort and the customer drives away happy. I had to come back in once to get a bag they'd missed counting (out of 20). It was an inconvenience as I don't live nearby.

Does not respect Health orders and discriminates against customers. A tall employee rudely yelled at my father to leave the store, not impressed by how they treated me as well. We will be supporting other businesses instead. Such a shame.

called ahead to place order said they have over a hundred in stock, drove for an hour with a trailer to pick up 16ft galvalumn and not one sheet in stock, Guy laughed says" we have a hundred". You'd think having inventory out over a hundred would be more embarrassing than funny.

Misleading sale signs. Took the items marked as on sale but at the cash they were not the ones. Showed the cashier and she confirmes they(the signs) were on the wrong items.

If I could rate customer service there would be no star. My husband received the rudest service ever. He asked a simple question about pluming part under the kitchen sink. The sales person told him very rudely that they are not plumbers . We took our business to Home Depot and got wonderful service there.

Huge selection, called around for 20' lengths of lumber. One place told me I'd have to special order from the states. Got prices for Central Builder's Supply over the phone quick and easy, they had all boards i needed. Was surprised at how nice the quality of it was when I showed up. Store is well organized, lots of stock and employees. Was helped by a yard guy named Mike, can't stress enough how helpful and professional he was. Going through the boards with me 1 by 1 to make sure there werent any cracks. These guys are my go-to for building supplies in Prince George, now. Much appreciated.

Love Central builders. There happened to be a woman this morning there, let's call her Karen. She was unwilling to be compliant with multiple employee's polite requests to don an appropriate face covering. She clearly felt very strongly that her rights were more important than the members of the staff as well as the other patrons of the store. I would have thought we had grown beyond this but apparently some will never change. The staff was almost unreasonably nice to her. They were so professional and respectful ????. My hats off to recognize the conduct of the staff members involved in this matter. As well, I was offered assistance myself in a prompt and professional manner. The items I needs were reasonably priced.

This store has the most rude and unhelpful sales people in Prince George. One old lady called Laurie was terribly rude when asked a question about a product in their flyer and the manager, when asked about the product, was just as ignorant. We will not shop in this store again and I would advice my family and friends to shop elsewhere and not be treated so unprofessionally.
