Should have read the reviews. Highly unprofessional and unreliable. Called on July 9th and Confirmed a septic pump with Black Water for July 13th. Was asked to send a text to confirm. Did so. Friday morning, I have the deck cleared, and the lids off at 7:55am in preparation for the 8:00am arrival. 8:20am, no show. Phoned, no answer left a voicemail. Followed up with 3 more calls with no answer. As well as a text at 8:31am with no reply. Finally, at 8:56am I receive a text, not a call, which read; "My pump truck had to go do a pumpout in welland. He will be there by 1030. Sorry about the delay" An hour after the scheduled appt time, like it was no big deal and we had nothing else to do other than wait around for him. Was told there was an emergency and that's why he was late. And he was in a meeting when I called. Apparently all 4 times. We had a doctors appt for our daughter at 9:30am in the falls, which I would have had plenty of time to get to if he was either on time or phoned me at 8:00am to let me know. I was forced to cancel the doctors appt, and was hit with a $50.00 cancellation fee because I did not give notice within 24 hours, thanks to this unreliable pathetic service. Told them to cancel unless they were going to knock off 50 bucks for their screw up and making me miss our appt. Said they would just cancel then. Told them that an emergency was understandable. But you call a customer you've made a prior engagement with, you don't leave them waiting for an hour. This is not how you run a business and treat your customers. I see I'm not the only review that has had this experience. Just call Cosby, don't waste your time trying to track down Blackwater for no shows. It's obvious they don't respect their customers what so ever, and I will be happy to spread that word.
