A HUGE THANK YOU to CHRIS from VEENSTRA!! We called him late on the week-end, after hours, to troubleshoot our lack of water. After spending the entire day on the phone and getting nowhere we called Chris. Chris and his team came out right away and stayed till late into the night (flashlights and all). I had to fire Veenstra Plumbing. County Inspector pointed out all their mistakes. My plumbing would not have passed inspection. Plus delays and not showing up when scheduled. I had to hire a plumber that is more reliable and shows up when he says he will and most importantly passes inspection.

My wife and I recently bought a cottage in Prince Edward County.We had major work to be done and they exceeded our expectations. We needed a in-ground cistern and a complete water filtration system to be installed and a variety of more minor plumbing items to do. Coming from Toronto, we did not know anyone in the area and found Veenstra Plumbing. Chris and his team were exceptional. They walked us through various options and clearly discussed the pros/cons of each. They even discouraged us from selecting options which were 'overkill' even though they would actually cost more. Workmanship, protecting the interior floors and exterior landscaping and great communication during all phases of work are all things that you can expect from Veenstra. They helped us on a really big water job, including lots of problem solving, replacing broken jet pump with submersible system in the well, adding a cistern and trickle system between the well and house, adding a winter-proof hydrant for livestock water access, and capping off a previously unknown pipe that was leaking water elsewhere. In the process of digging the cistern they literally unearthed a few problems that help explain a few mysteries of our house problems. Above all, they were patient, always calm, respectful, courteous and professional. The crew also appeared generally happy, which speaks a lot itself. Thank you Veenstra!

UNRELIABLE, UNPROFESSIONAL & POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. On May 17th, I contacted Veenstra's plumbing to have a septic tank pump replaced. I booked a service appointment with Chris for Wednesday, May 26th between 11:00-2:00pm. Chris didn't showed up. He called around 7:30pm to reschedule to either Thursday or Friday which was ok with me. Chris never showed up. I called the office on Monday 31st, and the appointment was rescheduled for Thursday, June 3rd. For the 3rd time Chris never showed up. I have called and emailed the company multiple times since with no response. I would give this business 0 stars if it were an option.

I called them on December 26 at 11:30 at night. The day after xmas. What a time to have a septic back up. They were awesome and showed up at 7:30 in the morning (Travis and Nolan). Problem fixed by 9:30 after digging out my septic and cleaning "years" of soap and grease back up. Bill was for less than I expected. Awesome service and I definitely recommend. Thanks guys.

A joke.!!! A phone call on a Monday to follow up on a promised service call of over 3 weeks ago, by a sub trade ( Rutter Brothers who apparently do all of their gas work) , only to be told that they (VENSTRA) will get back to me by days end.. It is now Wednesday and after 4:00 p.m and still no call. The problem still exists and I'm out of propane with no hope of a refill until the problem is rectified. I have tradesmen (carpenters) working on site for me, staying with me and hoping for a hot shower at days end. Thankfully they are off this week for a break, but they will be back to finish what they promised me they would do. These men I consider to be real tradesmen - when they travel from Almonte, Ontario to do work for me and they have yet to let me down.
