We have been working with Marquise as a sub-contractor on numerous large-scale jobs over the past few years. Matt and his team are wonderful people to work with. We have found Marquise Construction to always provide a great experience from beginning to end. I have personally seen their care and efforts with customers and with their contractors - someone who cares be greatly for both can be hard to find. The projects are creative and well-planned. I highly recommend them for your project, as you'll get a team who is hard-working and has integrity on and off the job site!

We worked with Matthew and the Marquise team to build our waterfront studio/cottage in 2020-21 which was a challenging time for new construction. Matthew did a great job managing the budget and was very responsive to all our requests. The whole team is professional and any changes or adjustments were handled in a timely manner. Marquise Construction finished our basement 5 years ago and we're still dealing with their mess to this day. Though their owner had a good vision at first of what we desired, things quickly went downhill. Currently, we have dropped almost $4000 into making their mistakes less noticeable. Drywall was mudded beyond poorly, we had to tear out part of the bathroom to fix a water leak behind a wall, our fireplace was framed as a fire hazard and we had to bring in a flooring specialist to fix buckling laminate due to improper installation. To say we were disappointed with the quality of their work is an understatement.

We first hired Matt and Marquise Construction to redo some flooring in our home, and we were so happy with their young team of professionals that we ended up hiring them again to renovate the entire main floor of our house (including kitchen, powder room, laundry room, and all flooring), as well as building a detached garage. The team is communicative, responsible, and very respectful...we were honestly kind of sad to not have them in our house every day when the projects completed!
