Ted and his crew did an amazing job on our project! My wife and I are both pretty picky, so there was a fair bit of back and forth with him. He handled it very well and added some great input that helped make all our decisions easier. His crew was very polite, friendly and professional, especially with curious neighbours, which I appreciate. Even after completion, we have contacted him a few times with questions and small modifications that were handled quickly. We will definitely contact him for any future work, and will recommend him (them) to anyone!

Worst customer service. Showed up at my property for an estimate, wasted a month and still haven't gotten back to me with the estimate. They don't even answer up the phone. I'd give them zero if I could. If you don't want to do the business make it clear, don't waste time.

YS General Contracting was great and Ted was extremely easy to work with. They did a big job for us- refinishing and fixing our fence and stripping and refinishing our patio. We had Ted and his crew do a number of jobs -big and small for us in our 1980s "new" house. I am very particular about things being done properly and was a bit reluctant to have someone else oversee the work. However, I as still in another city so need to hire a general contractor to get things done with a reasonable amount of independence. I was honestly really pleased. It was pretty effortless from my end. Things were done properly and in a timely fashion. Ted also troubleshot along the way to fix things properly when the inevitable surprises came up. We had a variety of jobs from putting in pot lights, knocking out a wall, rebuilding a couple of ceilings, moving some light switches that were in dumb places, and completely redoing the garage. A mish-mosh of jobs that were done well and without hassles. Would definitely recommend and plan to use again.

The whole team was professional, easy to deal with and took pride in their work. We are so happy with the quality of work done and have received many compliments on our new fence. These guys really came through for us and provided one of the best experiences with a contractor I have ever had. We had originally agreed with Ted and Dan to have our fence built without a definite date, we were in no rush. Things changed quickly for us and we needed a fence built in time to list our home. I called them with my problem, they showed up that night and made a commitment to help us out. Our job was not large in scale and most likely would have been pushed aside by most contractors. Ted and Dan had a crew at our home 5 days later and had our fence up. The quality of work was one thing, the character of their crew was even more impressive. I truly recommend this company to anyone.

Full demo and rebuild of a disaster wrap around porch including framing, lighting, masonry, roofing and eaves, as well as a few window replacements and various required repairs around the house. Had Ted & his crew in to a bathroom project in our home. From the time I spoke to Ted on the phone for the first time till the end of the project Ted had my wife and I at ease. Design ideas were top notch and within our budget. The crew did a great job with awesome workmanship, cleaned up after everyday they were done. Even after a few surprises found in the wall during tear out, it was handled fast and without delay. Great job again guys!!

Very unprofessional. Extremely slow to return any information about giving me a simple quote for my backyard. Not even the decency to return any emails just to say they are too busy. They seem to do good quality work, but you need to call, text and email relentlessly to get any response from them.

I can't express enough how impressed i am with this crew. The work is great, they're very easy to deal with, and most importantly they are reliable, not to mention affordable!! I've used them a few times now and feel so comfortable knowing i have a go to for anything i need. Porch needs to be fixed? I got a guy for that. Hey want to get the lane-way paved? I'll call my guy. My garage needs to come down! Good thing Ted can handle that. Great crew, service, and work! Highly recommended.
