Tom came to our home summer of 2017 to quote us for a bbq gas hookup. It took 3 calls to get him to come and quote us. Gave us a great quote said he’ll send one of his guys by the end of the week. Still waiting for the guy to show up.

It shows the character and culture of a company in how its leaders respond to mistakes and missteps. In this case, they responded extremely well and I am very appreciative. Thank you so much! ————————————- Technician complained about how far he had to drive to get to me, was not familiar with the work he had to do (seemed to be guessing), and did not bring necessary equipment to test the part he replaced. This is unfortunate, and in stark contrast to the excellent service received yesterday from a different technician who was patient, knowledgable and professional. Very disappointing and furthermore, it’s not clear if the work done was done properly or not.

About 10.5 years ago, we had baseboard heating in our home and we wanted to put in a natural gas furnace. We called Tom's Heating and Cooling and they installed a York High Efficiency furnace and duct work. They did a wonderful job. We called them three days ago because we finally had our first problem. They came to the house and diagnosed the problem and we needed two new parts. Unfortunately, our warranty was 10 years. They said they would see what they could do for us. They called the next day and told us that they were able to get one of the parts for free valued at $195+tax. Rob came to the house and fixed the furnace and gave us a reduced price on the labor cost. We would recommend Tom's Heating and Cooling to all our family and friends. All of this occurred during the COVID-19 pandemic and they still supplied good quality service. - Craig & Cindy Woodrow.

I couldn't be any happier with the service from Tom's. I have an old central air unit that totally stopped working and I was certain it needed replacing, so called them for a quote. During our conversation, Ryan suggested it could be something as simple (and inexpensive!) as a fried capacitor so Anthony came this morning on a service call and fixed the unit in about 10 minutes! They could easily have sold me a new AC. It's a pleasure to do business with honest, friendly, and prompt tradespeople, and when I do purchase a new unit it will be from them.

What an incredible experience I had with this company. I had several issues going on and I just decided to replace the whole furnace. From the first time I called they listened to my concerns, educated me on the system, and fixed the issue with a new furnace install. The response time was fast, came when they said they would. Payment was through text pay and there was follow up to see if we were satisfied. They used floor runners to keep my hardwood and stairs clean. What else can I say. Great work everyone, customer for life!!!

I have dealt with this company for the past 2 years. I have found them to be honest and reliable. In July off this year they replaced my Air Conditioner . During the Installation, It was determined that the heat exchanger on my furnace was cracked. The service person found out that the heat exchanger has a 20 year Warranty They were able to replace the heat exchanger for a lot less then the cost of a new furnace. Our furnace stopped working in the winter and, in calling around , couldn’t find anyone who would come out in an emergency. They were all 2-3 days before someone could look at it. Toms was able to come out the next morning , inspect it, and after ordering the necessary parts, have it up and running by that afternoon. Anthony, the service technician, was helpful and courteous. Very quick repair minimized the labour portion of the bill and the cost was reasonable. We will definitely use Toms as our “ go to” hvac people.
