We recently purchased materials for a metal roof installation from Havelock Metal. Kyle was our sales representative who understood our needs, suggested the best product, organized the process from production to installation. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. Kyle was extremely professional, returned calls promptly and provided clear and understandable quotes. We were very pleased with our experience and the price was incredibly reasonable considering the size of our roof. We would recommend ordering products from Havelock Metal!

Our new roof is of acceptable finish and quality. The ordering and delivery was fast. The difficulty we incurred with this company was with the over supply of materials. such as the 3 inch screws that we ordered and paid for and the 2 inch screws they delivered, that is only a 2 cent difference, but it is on 2,500 screws! As well, 80 feet of root vent was ordered and 240 feet was delivered and paid for. After several phone calls and more e- mail than I can count the company flat out refused to refund our full amount claiming a restocking fee of 20% for their mistakes, even though the bill clearly shows their mistakes. If dealing with this company check the order fully before signing the delivery receipt, Any savings we found in the product was off set by their 20% restocking fees. Thank you

Now that its on it looks fantastic much better than those ugly shingles we had for the last 15 years. Made sure I had everything I needed for the project and double checked I knew where all the pieces fit. I work for a roofing company and we have used other metal that was like tin compared to Havelock Metal. So easy to work with and the steel is better than anything I have ever worked with. Such a relief to have a great product and the service has been great Trims are the best and made out of thicker steel than VIC West and Westman.

Havelock metals Defrauded me of the metal roof i purchased from them..a contractor that Havelock provided metal too put aluminium peaks and trims on my roof instead of Havelock peaks and trims .. This contractor made them at his home out of aluminium. then put them on my roof...This fraud was found when a Havelock Manager sent out a contractor to repair a bad job done to my roof... I paid for a full Havelock roof and have a FULL Warranty for one..Now that it has faded Havelock refuses to warranty roof.. its less than 2 years old ..and Havelock has been aware of this fraud for over a year and still continues to supply this contractor and this fraud.. Havelocks Owner was made aware of fraud by me in a phone call She Returned to me a year ago...BUYER BEWARE

VERY DISAPPIONTED WITH MY HAVELOCK METAL ROOF Had our roof done TWO years ago in Majestic Black. You can see all the strapping through the steel. Talked with Havelock Metal and my contractor both agree it was installed properly. Very unappealing to look at. Thought we would DO IT ONCE AND DO IT RIGHT but that's not the case. Good money not well spent. Think hard before you spend your hard earned money here, and ask what is really covered under there 40 yr warranty.

They do not stand behind their product and the customer support is really bad if their is an issue. I really doubt they will ever refund any money for a warranty issue. I bought an entire roof system from them and when it came time to put it on I found the drip edge is a completely wrong size. They assured me that it is "industry standard" but a normal drip edge goes about a half inch into the eaves trough. With strapping on the roof a metal roof needs to compensate and the drip edge should be about 1 inch long. Theirs is about 2.25". That makes it impossible to install into an eaves trough because the trough hangers are in the way. 4 of us installing my roof have all done many different roofs before and none of use could figure out how to make it work. The vice president said their is nothing wrong with the product, but you have to make cutouts for every trough hanger (all 60 of them)... because the drip edge is too long. They offered no compensation. They do not stand behind the product and I am very leery of any business that operates this way. Buyer beware.
