heat wave so wasn't expecting much but Ideal not only answered the phone but booked us in as soon as possible ...high marks just for that Scott arrived earlier than the appointed time , I gave him the details and though I guessed what the problem was and could possibly have replaced the part myself..( youtube has a video of everything) I felt much better seeing a pro go right to the issue , replace the part , check for any other issues and wait till the machine was up and running before leaving ...great service ...thanks so much

On the first day of installation I believe there were 6 workers at my house, some upstairs in the attic, some downstairs and some outside. They were all very professional and polite and even apologized for being 'loud' when using the shop vac. They worked like a well oiled machine to get a ton of work done very efficiently. Everything was spotless before they left. Second day, there were less workers, however it was the same friendly professional service. Before they left, again, they took the time to clean every area they were in and thoroughly explained how to use everything, while reminding me that they are a quick phone call away if I needed help. I strongly recommend this company if you are needing any heating and cooling solutions. Energy efficient quality products with outstanding service.

5+ Star Review for Ideal Energy Solutions! I don't write many reviews, however I feel it is necessary for this company! We thought we had to replace our furnace and air conditioner based on other quotes we received. Steve gave us 3 different quotes explaining in DETAIL what he could do to our heating system to make it better. One, was we could make some ducting changes to gain airflow and that would make our old system run a bit better until in case we weren't ready to change our furnace and air conditioner. Second was to just change our furnace leave the air conditioning and make the duct changes. Leave the air conditioning for now as it was very old but still is working okay and change it in the future. With the duct changes it would work better. Third was to replace the furnace and air conditioning with the duct changes. There was NO pressure. Steve also did a heat loss, heat gain calculation on our house that showed us that we didn't need the larger equipment the other quotes we received said we needed. We decided to replace both the furnace and air conditioner as we felt it was time to. They installed a new Rheem system in our home and our home feels more comfortable. We are also saving on our monthly utility bill. They even put through a rebate from Fortis that we qualified for. The staff care about quality of thier work and stand behind it. Thank you from a new long term customer. I trust Ideal Energy Solutions! I will recommend to anyone!

Ideal Energy, I was looking for a company to solve a couple problems in my house. I had called two companies in the South Okanagan and was told stand in line, very busy.. we were driving from Kelowna and saw an Ideal Energy truck on the highway, my wife said look, let's call this company.. So I stopped at my friend's business in Penticton for a visit and learned he had a gas leak, he had called a large Penticton company for two days and the did not return his calls. I suggested he call Ideal Energy who responded immediately. Steve Dahl the owner did a great job fixing the problem. I have used Ideal for three different jobs, moisture issues, heat costs and a gas furnace repair. I was given a quite and that is what the final invoice was.. the work has been superb, the cleaned the work site. I have recommend this company and I'm certain they will deliver an excellent job for everyone. Large or small jobs.. a Five star company..

Upon calling Ideal Energy Solutions, the owner Steve arranged a visit to our home to review our current furnace system and a complete assessment based on what we were looking for in a heating/cooling system. Steve made this visit from Penticton to Oliver at no cost. He was very knowledgeable and provided a few options. Upon leaving, Steve stated he would be back in a few days to go over in detail what he would recommend and provided a quote for the complete job. Everything Steve stated he would do, he did!! Working with Steve and his team has been a pleasant experience all around. Steve came to our house several times (even on a Saturday) to answer any questions we had and explain the various options for heating and cooling upgrades. We ended up going with a heat pump for heating/cooling and an on-demand hot water heater. Kayleen is always pleasant and courteous on the phone and always keeps us informed of any updates for installation. On installation day, a diverse crew of six showed up to handle the many aspects of the installation and to remove/take away all the old water heaters and furnace. Every one of the crew was polite and courteous and worked well as a team. Ideal Energy was fantastic from start to finish. Steve, the owner came to our house in Keremeos to plan a great system. He came a second time to go through every detail and made sure it was perfect for us. A large, well organized crew arrived and got it all done very fast. No one cut any corners and the installation looks great. They kept the house very tidy. Every one of his crew was polite and professional. There was a problem from the manufacturer which required a replacement unit. The technician stayed late diagnosing it and the next day another one came to sort it out. This was even over a holiday weekend. A new unit was installed and tested within a couple of days. The technician went through to explain operation and maintenance. Charges were exactly as quoted. I called Ideal Energy Solutions on Monday afternoon about my AC unit. The next day, Colton showed up 1/2 hr early, and fixed the AC and more. He went over the unit from top to bottom. Our A/C went on the blink on a extremely hot day. I called a lot of A/C companies but they could not look after us since they were so booked up. I called Ideal on Friday morning - before a long weekend - and spoke to a very pleasant lady. She arranged for Jorge to come and see us between 12:30 and 1:30. We received a text confirming that Jorge was about to arrive at our house in Oliver. Jorge changed the burnt out capacitor and then cleaned our unit. He got the A/C running in about one hour, and then gently informed me that regular maintenance is essential. I would highly recommend Ideal Energy Solutions Ltd., and I will book A/C inspections in March of every year. Scott came out today to check our A/C motor and furnace. The motor is fine and he repaired the vibration issue. Scott then checked our furnace and told me to change the filter to a less restrictive one. He mentioned that we had a good system and good to go for winter. Excellent work!
