I had Buildable come in and apply a non slip product, called Slip Doctors, they recommended to my bathtub. Approximately one month later the bottom of my bathtub started to rust. There was no rust on the bottom of bathtub before this happened that was corroborated by me, my maid and the person who performed the work. Dan came in to assess the situation. His conclusion was this happened because the bathtub was old. I asked why applying this product to old bathtubs may cause rust was not mentioned to me? He said it’s the first time this has happened and its not our problem but because of this we will change our policy and ask more questions when selling the product to the next person. (So thanks for being our guinea pig) He also kept harping on the fact that the rust was concentrated where a mat used to be which is completely irrelevant. It felt like he was looking for any excuse in the book so that his company would not be liable for the damage. This is completely unacceptable. If thorough testing of a product before bringing it to market was not performed, that’s on you not me. The fact that it felt like Dan was talking down to me was also quite irritating. He said, that yes old bathtubs can spontaneously rust in 1 month for no reason. He never even offered to help pay for a resolution for there mistake. One of their 5 core values is “Pride in our craft. We take immense pride in our exceptional quality of work and craftsmanship, and in the integrity that we bring to each project. “. Hmmmmm. That sounds a bit contradictory to me from what I have experienced.

I liked everything about this business. I have mobility issues but was not quite ready for a ramp to enter the house. They were responsive to my wishes and concerns, and built a wonderful set of stairs with 4inch risers and 10inch deep finished at the back steps. I call them my progressive steps, steps that are stretched out so that I can almost just walk up as opposed to climb the stairs. I got the best quality innovative product, great value for my money, built in one day and on time. We need more professionals like this. Thank you BuildAble.
