Warning danger hazardous I strongly advise no one to ever use this company I didn't I'm the neighbour of one of their clients I would hear the employees of Colter renovations Everyday hoping for rain so they could stop working early After a four-man crew working on a double garage for 37 days there was a dispute between my neighbour and the contractors coincidentally the same day the garage collapse breaking through my fence upon calling the company they admitted to me removing thousands of dollars worth of lumber off the garage laughed at me and told me to take them to court. Their reasoning Is my neighbour no longer wanted to continue to pay them, the quote was $4500 yet it quickly become a $10,000 bill. I have three dogs and a two-year-old son any of which could have been killed. Knowing my son could have been killed for merely playing in our backyard I've made this my personal Vendetta to inform as many people as Humanely possible of the hazards of this company My Facebook is CoryEl for anyone interested in seeing the videos or pictures or inquiring any further details Expect many many many more reviews to come. Update this is how they respond. Response from the owner 51 minutes ago "well the neabor should not rack up $6000 in extras and not pay for took my materials back police you called said i had ever right looks like you are the trash ????". Very professional as you can see. They believe they have the right to put people's lives at risk zero remorse. To the owner I highly suggest you start using spell check, You should be able to care about human life and pay your bills at the same time.

I am very disappointed in the work that was completed and unfinished. When Colter came to my house he was so nice and understood that I had a previous contractor that left my house in a mess. He was very positive that the job was very easy and promised perfection. Unfortunately when he sent his workers into my house the had blatant disregard for my property. His workers went into my cupboards and took out garbage bags and took a salad bowl outside to use as a mixing bowl with dirty water. I found the bowl inside my cupboard the next day dirty. There was dust everywhere from the sanding and not once did they offer to cover my furniture or suggest it to me. My main floor powder room was already gutted and plumbing completed ready for install. Not sure how the tiles were installed but there are two spots that crack when I step on them. The trim on one wall is not flush with the wall and the trim on the other side wasn’t cut on an angle to meet the door frame. Additionally they finished the powder room painted and put up the light fixture and left a hole behind the light fixture a large hole. They returned to fix it when I wasn’t home and mudded over the hole with no drywall or removing the light fixture. My brand new light fixture is now damaged. There was mud in the sink and on my wood floors outside the bathroom that I had to scrape off. I messaged these pictures to Colter 2 weeks ago and received no response. When I contacted him today to let him know about my review he responded “I forgot about you”. Then stated I still owe him money. I should have never paid him anything until the job was complete. He had no intentions on returning to fix the mess he created. As a woman and a single mom I feel taken advantage of. I won’t trust independent contractors again.
