Our request for a quote was met by a prompt comprehensive list of inclusive services that were subsequently all fulfilled during and after installation of our new shingles. Due to the poor condition of our old shingles Mike was able to schedule our installation within a week of getting the go ahead from us. The roofing crew worked professionally and tirelessly over 2 days of hot weather. The installation, the look of the new shingles and cleanup was to our complete satisfaction. We would not hesitate to recommend Blackbird Roofing to anyone looking for a good quality shingle installed at a reasonable price by a local family owned and operated business.

Mike was one of my customers, and I got a good vibe from him. When I saw him on our street supervising his crew, it inspired more confidence in me. His rates were mid-range to lower, he didn't have the slick marketing material, and he sounded like a guy who would stand behind his work. Our roof developed a leak and Blackbird got our roof done on short notice and in 4.5 hours! The guys listened to us and answered all of our questions. My wife liked it -- which says a lot. Mike easy to reach by text. ...and when we had a problem, Mike made it right.

After conducting a lot of research on shingles and obtaining numerous quotes from other contractors, Blackbird went above and beyond answering all of our questions in a very timely and professional manner. They were very thorough showing us the shingles and explaining the installation process. We didn’t realize that the warranty on lifetime shingles can be void if installed incorrectly! Something many homeowners likely wouldn’t think of. On the install day, the crew arrived on time and quickly began prepping the job site. They were incredibly skilled in their craft, working very efficiently and safely. At the end of the day, they spent a significant amount of time cleaning up our property. We are very happy with our investment and this entire process. I will continue to speak highly of this company and refer to all friends and family. I notified Mike of the wind damage to our church roof. An hour later he had his team address and repair the damage. As Mike was doing other repairs in the area, and seeing that the damage was minimal, he told me the repair was “on him” and he will not send an invoice. Had this company shingle my roof a few years ago. Never got the final warranty paperwork from them (bit shady). This week I had several shingles come loose, exposing the roof, because they were not nailed in the correct spot. The roofing company that did the repairs also found cut shingles in my gutters and extra roof caps just left on the roof. Stay away!! To owner: This is very much a real review. Problems were not caused by wind or a rain storm, but due to nails being nailed above the self-sealing strip. To the owner again: Your replies of sarcasm and attempts to belittle me is exactly why clients should avoid your company. Very Unprofessional.

When I got a quote they mentioned that ice shield will be put on the edges but it was not put. I noticed it only after they finished and he said the roof didn't require it. Cheats.

I called Blackbird roofing. I spoke to Mike and I had concerns because a previous company I booked never showed. I explained that I had other work scheduled for the house that was on hold due to my roof not being finished. He accommodated me ,was understanding and booked me in. They honored the quote they gave me that I got when I was collecting quotes from various contractors. They showed up when they said they would, did a great job. Very organized and didn't even ask for a dime until after they completed the job which to me shows that they have confidence in what they do.
