Kyle from Sharp Exteriors was very professional and eager to assist us with our project. We dealt with Kyle when we did a new roof on our previous home- very happy with that work. For this project he helped us choose our new front door, windows, brand new soffits and fascia. He made the process very easy and delivered the project on time as promised. Bob in scheduling as well as Edwin and the install time were also great. Thank you very much to Kyle and the team for the amazing transformation of the front of our house. Sharp Exteriors Roofing & Window Company...AMAZING! Sharp Exteriors did my roof a few years ago and the experience has been amazing. Jonathan my salesmen was so helpful and was very committed on making sure that everything was the way that I had envisioned it. The Crew that came were very polite saying "Hi" and "Bye" every day, there was no mess when they were de-shingling and Jonathan even came to make sure everything was going smoothly...I get a lot of comments on my roof and I am still pleased with my roof every time I look at it! Overall I would definitely use Sharp again if I ever decide to move and may want my Roof, Windows or Doors done! Great experience, great price...great company!

We signed with Sharp Exteriors on April 16 to do our roof and was told it was about 5 weeks wait to get the roof done. 9 weeks later, on June 16, one business day before they were to start work, I was told my roof was suddenly too steep and if they were to do it they’d have to get more equipment and, although we had a signed contract and everything was ready to go (the roofing materials and bin were on my driveway and had been there 3 weeks waiting for the work to start) I was responsible for all of the $800/day charge to rent the equipment. I said no as they need to stick to the signed contract however honouring signed contracts doesn’t seem to be of interest to them and they walked away from the project. No call from any of the owners to explain or apologize for this inconvenience or their lack of judgement. I guess it could have been worse, they could have suddenly asked for more money mid-project and then we'd really have been caught in a bind. With a signed contract in place, 9 weeks having passed, and the workers already having been on the roof weeks earlier, is it fair for them to try and charge us thousands more than we'd agreed to? <*** Responding to the owner's response as I'm not sure how to embed below his note, but I do want to finally respond to help others avoid the poor experience I had to go through>: The steepness of the roof or the safety risks didn't change or increase from the first time you quoted 9 weeks earlier. Why was it not assessed and priced then? Adding an $800/day additional charge THE DAY BEFORE the work was to begin reeks of a cash grab. You came to my house to talk to your crew and assess the situation yet you never came to talk to me directly even once?? What worries me most is that you seem oblivious to what I have an issue with: not the additional charge, but how you handled the last minute increase of the additional charge without any sense that this was your miss from the beginning. Did it ever occur to you that since it was not in our original quote, it was your team's miss, and that you should have absorbed the charge and not passed it on to the customer who was honouring their side of the contract? Comes across as very dishonest and that's why I'm warning others to stay away from Sharp Exteriors. >

I hired this company to install some windows and a patio door at my home. I was really impressed with the salesman who came out to price out my windows; he had lots of brochures and samples with him. It was an easy process choosing styles and colours and he even offered advice on what would go with the rest of my house. Bob in scheduling was awesome, he worked with me to find a suitable time in mu busy schedule. The crew that came in to install them was quick and efficient, they did a great clean-up, and my windows look beautiful! I'll definitely call them back for my roof!

This company has been in business for many years and does a good job. Had our house roof replaced 16 yrs ago, then a large garage 8 yrs ago. Both roofs still look good and are performing well. Kyle is friendly and helpful.

They have worked at our home over the years and we have never been disappointed. They show up on time for the initial estimate and scheduled work, adhere to the quote, are very tidy and provide exactly what they are contracted to do. They are honest and upfront. We had them replace a major skylight and surrounding shingles (all of which are highly visible) and you would never know that it had been replaced. They have also repaired and replaced gutters and downspouts, all of which are very satisfactory. Brian Sharpe knows his stuff and his company is a reflection of the pride that he/they take in their workmanship.

Mr. Sharpe came to my house to inspect a problem I was having with my roof from a previous contractor. I was looking for a second opinion on a roof leak I was having, the secretary seemed nice and said Mr.Sharpe would be out there soon and they deal with this all the time and it's no problem. Mr. Sharpe after inspecting my roof before having a conversation just repeatedly said "There is nothing in it for me", "I can't make money here" and was just overall rude, not even listening to what I was saying, like he was talking to himself. It was strange. But here's the really crazy thing... When taking his ladder down and leaving he hit a fence post light with his ladder as he wasn't watching what he was doing. I yelled and said hey you hit that light, and he just ignored me and walked to his truck. The light stopped working after that. It's not a huge deal as it's a 30 dollar fence post light and I could easily replace it, but the way this guy handled it was bizarre to say the least. I caught it on security cam, him hitting the light so I called the office and told them what happened. Mr.Sharpe called me the next day apologizing, saying he didn't know he did that. I said ok, "but it happened so now what?". He started to get mad saying he never did it, and when I said I have him on camera doing it, he hung up.. Ok, dishonest contractor caught red handed not taking responsibility for damage he caused, since it was a 30 dollar light it's not a huge deal, but it's the point of the matter. Then it gets even more crazy.... He calls the previous contractor that I needed work fixed from (who I have a good relationship with) and started bad mouthing me saying I have cameras and I am out to get him....lol Unbelievable. This guy is really unstable. Anyways the previous contractor knew the guy was a little off, and those same cameras were there when the previous contractor was there and they managed to maneuver around my property without damaging anything....but Mr.Sharpe seems to damage property, not take responsibility for it, then try to "get" the person that actually wants to do the right thing and point out this behavior is unacceptable. That's my experience with this company, it wouldn't have been a big deal if he took responsibility for it, but if this is a test of character...this guy failed in every way possible....stay far away.

Why would you use anyone else? I physically cringe when I see the ‘curb side’ roofers and wonder why? Sharpe Exteriors are the only roofers I would recommend. Kyle is amazing. He is kind, knowledgeable and professional. We wanted to put off installing the roof as long as possible but also before running into any problems. Kyle honoured his original quote even though a lot of time had passed and wood prices had increased. I didn’t even ask, he just offered to honour it. That says a lot about his integrity. My neighbours commented on the professionalism of the roofers and their expert cleanup. I had my young daughter around and they were always watching out to ensure she was safe when having to toss shingles into the bin. We also needed insulation removed and reinstalled and they were able to coordinate with a recommended company who worked with their time line seamlessly. Kyle even took the time to be interviewed by my son for a college assignment 7 years after he fixed our roof. Many roofing companies aren’t even around a year later…. Hire Sharpe Exteriors if you want the job done right and with peace of mind.
