Yuri has done work before for us about 3 years ago, a couple of broken posts and a new gate to the backyard. Very quick and quality workmanship. They put the posts back where they were so you can reuse the fence section saving more time and money. This year we had another 3 posts broken and we called Yuri again. We called him just before then province shut down all extra contract work. He came within 2 days and took him one day to do 3 posts with his partner. He also replaced some lattice on one section, again very reasonably priced. In this time of the virus, it was very nice to see professionalism and a very friendly face. When this is over, be sure to give these guys a call!

Yuri repaired my fence and built me a beautiful wooden swing gate. He also custom built me a wooden grid cover to cover the window well on my deck. Now my deck will be safe for my dogs and I won't have to worry anymore of them running away, or falling in the window well! I have two fence posts replaced by Will. He is fast, efficient, punctual and very professional. The price is reasonable. The site was kept neat and clean. I reckon that by the time most fence repairs have been done around here following that Friday afternoon windstorm back in early May that I'll be getting about a half-dozen phone calls and texts by outfits that didn't want to lose my business...but at the same time didn't have the facilities or manpower to do it. So there were times I would have given ANY of these outfits a 1/5 Google Review. Frustration is not enough of a word to describe these cat-and-mouse games with these overly busy fencing contractors. Lo and behold Oakville Fence Repair came back from the dead (the only fencing contractor to come back from the dead!) and Will the Russian Beefcake came out to carry-out repairs expertly. Not much of a talker but this man can work! The toughest part of this job is pulling out the old fence post foundations encased in cement. The fence was repaired in less than a day after several WEEKS of trying to finalize the deal with various fencing contractors. This outfit does a professional job - check out how he actually plumbs the fence! This is not a rush job. I watched him like a hawk and have the pictures to prove it! Don't be afraid to come up with a couple of competitors' quotes (preferably in writing!) so that you can bargain with them for price but bargain with them reasonably - especially when your neighbours' "culture and customs from back home we have to acknowledge and respect as Canadians" includes NOT footing half of the repair bill on what is legally half of their fence! (Talk to people, it happens!) Too small a job to claim on insurance, you may find that you're eating the entire repair cost on your own. So explain these circumstances to these gentlemen and you never know! Worked for me! Old posts stumps removed, new posts installed to a 3' depth as per code (I watched him!), panels are re-hung and lattice work re-installed. And plumb! Fence posts are trimmed to height and capped with the original caps. Know what else? They take away the debris! Will even swept the dust off of the lawn! A job well done is a job complete. No wonder they get good reviews! So bravo Oakville Fence Repair. I will definitely call this outfit back again and will gladly recommend them. Keep in mind that this fantastic job was done on June 19th when other contractors were booked well into August! "Oh those Russians!"

We found Yuri when we started a fence repair on our own and it became too much work. He was quick to respond to our request and managed to show up within days to help us out. I thought he would have trouble with 1 post that was against my neighbour's shed but he replaced it easily. Yuri was friendly, fast, polite and the finished work was fabulous. Today Yuri and Will came and repaired 3 6x6 posts that were heaving considerably. These two did an absolutely FANTASTIC job. It was ALOT of work but they are both extremely hard working, efficient and aim to please. They cleaned up the yard after the job was done and everything looks as it was before they came, with one exception....our fence is level again! :-) My wife and I are very happy we called them. I will definitely be giving these guys a call again to repair a couple of other posts on the other side of our yard that will likely need attention in the coming years. We just had five fence posts replaced by Yuri and his partner. Quality finish on a timely basis, and they even worked into late evening hours to get it done. Hard working without tricks or window dressing. No complains about rocks or tree roots in the ground. Upon request, they put in a bit more cement to protect the portion underground, and also replaced some worn-out lattice in the top without extra charges. Price is fair and just as promised.
