Called First Choice as we got a vent installed from our basement onto the outside of the house which was not up to code, nor it was proper. We had a very tight timeline, as it was friday and we had our drywall contractor booked on Monday to patch all the holes in our basement. Shane came over on the weekend to diagnose the issue, and ended up installing a brand new Dryer vent using rigid piping and in a better location (and up to code!). Shane also fixed holes that the previous owner of our house had left on the air return ducts. Overall the price was very good and he was very informative. I would strongly recommend him to anyone and is now my go-to guy for anything HVAC/GAS/Ductwork for my house, nothing beats the customer service of someone who owns the business and cares for clients, unlike other bigger companies where you do not get the same consistency.

Shane is very professional. He came and fixed my furnace problem within same day. Unlike others who suggesting replace furnace without looking into the equipment, he analyzed the issue and gave the cost-effective solution. He drove back and forth 3 times to get the spare part and have my furnace up and running in the cold winter right away. Besides, he spent extra time helped me claim the warranty. I would highly recommend First Choice Heating and Air. I had to call on a Saturday and Shane did not hesitate to go to my rental place right away and did not charge me emergency call fees because it was the weekend. He was there in 20 mins. I couldn't be there so he met my tenant. All it was was a dirty filter and blocked hose. Shane was honest about how small the repair was and just changed the filter and charged me very little to do the job. I was so impressed with his honesty and his customer service that I have passed his name on to two of my investment property contacts. He is an excellent choice when you are looking at potentially very expensive repairs.

Shane installed my vents in my basement to get it ready for inspection. This was everything from a couple of dryers, range hood, and a few return and supply lines. The inspector recommended some changes and he made the updates. While I had to have him come back several times because of the logistics of working with Framers and Plumbers, he was able to accommodate. Shane is a knowledgeable professional.

Our AC was not working for about 1 month 4 repair individuals had came to fix the AC, but were all unsuccessful. Shane came and he quickly diagnosed the issue and proceeded to fix it. Not only did he fix the issue in record breaking time, (5th individual scheduled for the repair ) he patiently waited to confirm the AC turned on and was actually blowing cool air before leaving. We appreciated that he was very educated about his job and took the patience to ensure that he would get the job done correctly! Very satisfied with the "repair" service Shane provided. I quoted repair because other big contractors charge you $150 to only tell you that you need a new AC or furnace. Or they will charge another $150 for repair service. Shane came to look at my AC condensation issue. He was very professional and on time. After resolving, he explained me the cause of the problem and gave me some tips for future. Great service overall.
