My husband and I almost decided not to choose Oakville Trimmings. Glad we didn't pay any attention to only a few of the negative reviews. Oakville Trimmings kept us up to date with scheduling on our project. Then showed up on time, worked very hard non stop and did an excellent job!. We are thrilled with their work and customer service. We highly recommend them.

The rating system would not allow me to give zero which is really what this should be. We were initially very happy with the installation of our aggregate walkway in August, 2016. However, within 2 months, the sealer discoloured and a couple of weeks later a crack developed. We have been in contact with the company since October, 2016 and are still waiting for it to get fixed. We were told in the fall that the weather wasn't conducive for repairs which we understood and that we would be contacted in the spring to have repairs done. We were never contacted. We contacted the company in July and met with the Nelio who was combative and hostile. After a very unpleasant conversation with my husband in which Nelio said the fix wasn't worth his time, he said he would be by in August to fix the problem. August 25 today and no word or work from anyone at concrete trimmings. Emailed and called today only to be told they haven't forgotten about us. Apparently new work is far more important to them than making good on work they have already done. Not at all pleased with the work or the follow-up from this company so they should not be at all surprised by this review. I would recommend if you are looking for a concrete company to contact someone else and lose their number.

Excellent work. The team is timely, focused and very respectful. Nelio really does go above and beyond for his customers. The team looks happy to work for this company--and that says a lot about a company. Concrete trimmings is a company you can trust. They listen to the customer and give you the pros and the cons of each design concept and idea. They are easy to access, reasonable and have strong work ethic. Nice to see everyone so devoted and happy at the same time.

Excellent experience from start to finish...Nelio, Jeremy and the crew were courteous and professional. They did a wonderful job on my curb, curved walkway to the front door and patio area. I was impressed by the work ethic of the crew and the dedication they had to my job to ensure that it looked perfect as they smoothed the concrete. I have to say that the crew that worked on my property were as good as you can get. The finish was excellent as well as the site lines were dead on. They all were very professional and courteous to us during the two projects that were completed for us. Jeremy who was the foreman on site was always making sure that we were happy every step of the way. This project was completed as if They were working on there own property. Anyone looking for a great job should consider concrete trimmings. I believe that Nelio would be more than happy to help you out. He was very informative with all aspects of my projects. Nelio and his team were a pleasure to work with! The group was on time, friendly and got the job done right. I used Concrete Trimmings to replace my driveway curbs and culvert sidewalls. The work was done in a very timely manner with little disruption to my neighbours and was of very good quality. It is obvious that this company has a great deal of experience and they know what they are doing.

They committed to replacing a walkway beside our garage and provided a quote in August 2018 but communicated that they could not complete that year due to volume of work and asked for us to contact them around April to book the project. Spoiler alert: still waiting for our new sidewalk. We contacted them many times starting in April 2019 and they reiterated in June the commitment to complete the work. We have continued to leave messages asking for them to return our calls and to finally get this finished with no response. Beyond frustrated! We'll be heading elsewhere with our business and we suggest you do the same.

I don't understand the negative comments as I had a great experience with Jeremy & Nelio and all the workers. I had them do french curbs and a sidewalk up the side of my home and not only did they do a great job, when I asked about a small change to the design they were very accommodating. I will definitely use them again and will refer them to anyone looking for great concrete work done at a fair price.

This was my 4th time using Concrete Trimmings over the past 13 years. Just minor issues with the first 3 jobs (nobody's perfect!). However this last job has left a very poor impression on Concrete Trimmings' current state of care to quality work & professionalism. Specifics: 1) Have not returned my calls to complete the work and mess left. 2) Hung air conditioner on house wall, only to have it crash to the ground. Fortunately my air conditioner still works. Holes left in my house wall are still not filled/fixed though. 3) Damaged my existing concreate driveway by dropping garden rock on it. Promised to repair damage but still not done. Garden rock also still left in disarray. 4) Sealant applied to new concrete walkway & patio is blotchy; they promised to come respray dry spots but still not done after weeks. 5) Existing concrete driveway was pressure washed so stripped of existing seal. Left blotchy & unsightly; still waiting for weeks now for work to complete on reseal. 6) Left 3 pails worth of garbage/remnant concreate pieces in my flower bed, had to clean out myself so we could get soil delivery dumped into it on time. Concrete pieces in my provided pails still waiting to be disposed of from my property. 7) After payment, (my bad I trusted remaining clean-up and sealing would quickly be done, but 90% of work is still not 100% or work completed!), company representative called to try to charge us $500 more! I instructed to check the initial quote. I have not heard back from them on this either, especially for an apology to try to charge us more than agreed to! They could have easily checked the original quote before calling to try to charge us more. Totally unprofessional.

I felt it necessary to add my review as it was removed with no just cause. I employed Concrete Trimmings for cement and exposed aggregate that was used for the driveway and walkway. In less then a year a large crack in the walkway developed to the house and at the base of the drive scaling appeared. Basically aggregate and cement flaked off. I contacted the office and was advised that someone would come by to address the issue. The issue of concern was the crack in the walkway. I was given excuses that I don't feel were appropriate. The customer service and quality of work is extremely poor.

This company did a concrete job at our house and had no regard for our property. Plants killed, lawn burnt, sealer sprayed all over siding on house, garden & rocks, water hose, electrical cord & sprayed a foot out onto our walkway. Biggest complaint is they blasted a high pressure power washer at our house from a foot away & broke the seal on our large livingroom window & soaked our basement with dirty water. Called the foreman & owner of company & they couldn't of cared less.

Had Concrete Trimmings by to do a quote and Nelio showed up and designed a great exposed aggregate and stamp border patio and had a walkway at the side of the house done as well. A few weeks past and Nelio and his crew showed up and 3 days later had the project completed. His workers were courteous and worked hard. They did a great job and will have them back next year to do the front of my house.

Entire team from start to finish of the project were professional, respectful of property and did an amazing job. expanded driveway, walkway around house. when my sewer line collapse under the new driveway and had to be dug up, Nelio was on site within a few days to assess the damage, and when ground properly set, repaired the damage within a few days. This company did a concrete job at my neighbours house, they were power washing all the cement from the neighbours into my garden where there is a koi fish pond with over 30 fish, we warned them this would kill all the fish with the concrete and chemicals they assured me it would be ok! We asked them to please be careful. Since they have finished our fish are all dying , all the dust and chemicals are on our garden and directly into our pond, they dont return calls and wont acknowledge anything! They have left my place a mess all the steps on the side of the house is full of the dust and chemicals from the concrete job next door. which slopes down to my koi fish pond and all my fish are dying. In order for me to fix this situation i need to drain all the water replace the pipes and filer system the pond liner and essentially redo my pond and get new fish which would be an expense of over $5000. These people have no respect and have let my fish die one by one with poison. Some fish we have had for over 3 years! One fish was bought when a family member passed away so my son always remembers them! This people refuse to answer or get back to us!
